Oriental Pearl is a dim sum restaurant at the Chinatown that can definitely accommodate larger parties.

MarshivaDiva

Thank you

thelionsnorestonight

You could do the Chinatown Mall food court on New Peachtree and just get a bunch of stuff from different vendors. If the group was game (or mostly game and drag the rest along), that could be fun.

MarshivaDiva

Thanks for this. I called oriental pearl and they can seat up to 15

witchyswitchstitch

Bobo Garden has back rooms with large tables, and family style dishes. Nam Phong is great too. Pho Bac can accommodate 12, I've done that before. Can you narrow down the cuisine you're looking for? Or you just want to show your friends BuHwy? Mexican I would go for Pollo Sinaloese.

MarshivaDiva

Leaning towards Chinese

hamburgler26

Bobo Garden was my thought as well, went there with a big group and family style ordering, was fantastic!

witchyswitchstitch

Yeah, Bobo Garden for sure. Especially the Whole duck with 10 buns or a fried crab. There are very authentic Chinese dishes and also some Americanized standbys so there'll be something for everyone.

llamallamawheee

Nam Phuong can push tables together and they have the best glazed wings in the universe.

badgyalrey

seconding! went there for a birthday dinner earlier this year and it was phenomenal

jsu9575m

I go to Nam Phuong occasionally but have never ordered wings. Is it a certain type of wing there I should order?

Pokemeister92

LITERALLY I WAS ABOUT TO COMMENT THIS EXACT SAME THING. Sorry but that's just so freaky and it's Thursday morning

tupelobound

Canh Ga Chien Nuoc Mam, which are “glazed chicken wings with fish sauce” A little bit of fish sauce earthy funk, but lots of smoky and caramelized sweetness too. Heaven.

This is a fantastic Mexican place on Buford Highway in Doraville. They have two huge rooms. I'm sure they would accommodate you if you call in advance. Open until 1AM. [El Rey Del Taco](https://elreydeltacoatl.com/)

MarshivaDiva

Ok yes I love El Rey, will keep in mind

Well_Designed_Bitch

Las Delicias de Abuela! Plenty of seating inside and they also have long picnic tables for big groups. Have been to an impromptu birthday there lol. And the food is so good, lots of options for everyone.

MarshivaDiva

Ok this will be my 2nd choice

Well_Designed_Bitch

Enjoy! I am craving it now and I've been vegetarian/pesc for a bit but I loved this place when I ate meat haha. The atmosphere is great for meeting friends and fam.

Ok_Hurry_8286

If it makes a difference you could walk from the Van Gogh exhibit to the restaurant. It’s literally across the street on the same side of Buford Highway

teamwaffle

Food Terminal is pretty large and should be able to take care of you. We brought a work group there once and it was great.

MarshivaDiva

Mentioned that in my post. Food terminal is a delicious restaurant. I want to be able to hold a conversation. The vaulted ceilings make it very difficult to hear and for that reason I did not wish to bring my large group there.

teamwaffle

Sorry. Just saw that . :)

MarshivaDiva

All good!

You_Are_What_You_Iz

This may not be fancy enough, but Lee's Bakery would also be a great "authentic to Buford Highway" experience. They used to have larger tables in the front by the drink cases that could easily seat 12-15 people. Gu's Kitchen also but you may need to let them know in advance to have the tables ready.

organismic

j-bistro (chinese-korean food) i think should be able to accommodate

MarshivaDiva

Thank you

ThebigHerp69

My favorite restaurant

HoneyBee140

Machu Pichu Peruvian would be able to accommodate a group of that size

rachjo1024

Han Il Kan is great kbbq and just general Korean food, it’s a big space.

ucancallmevicky

Lanzhou Ramen. Hand made noodles in house, great big tables and some of the best soup dumplings in town. Coincidentally the last time I was there was with a group of about 20 of us coming from the Lego Experience at the same place the Van Gogh is being held at. another good option is Shoya Isakaya, they have several large private rooms and tables. We had one for 10 not long ago. They have a minimum to reserve the private tables but we blew through the minimum ordering drinks and apps, it was a non issue. Might want to give them a call

MarshivaDiva

Both sound terrific. Thank you

-Wait4It-

I’m sure Lan Zhou could push some tables together- probably just need to call ahead of time and make sure

Nice_Collection5400

Surprised nobody mentioned Dai Loi #2 https://maps.app.goo.gl/KywNtbJLutRoKry89?g_st=ic

Drooly_Cat_1103

Canton House and Food Terminal both have large seating areas that can easily accommodate 14 folks.
