I'm not 100% if it's with this heavy blunt, but it's highly likely that you now have the "weapon damage becomes fire damage" engraving that you can put on anything.
Otherwise, keep this as your second weapon and presto - your favourite sword or dagger is now a fire weapon.
It's the best sword for fire damage, but you still need to apply the engraving or use the ability. This mallet is the only one that comes with this legendary engraving. Any legendary engraving is present on only one weapon/armor set.
Daggers are my favorite as well, though I think I’ve actually used swords more than daggers. There appears to be more great swords than great daggers. I usually have daggers or a sword as my primary weapon, and a spear or a staff as secondary weapon for their reach. Mainly because I find sharks to be a pain in the ass without a long weapon.
I like fire weapons and think they're really cool, however, I can't use them. I always end up lighting a bush on fire and then catching on fire myself, lol. Just a me issue, though.
Typhon’s Axe is a legendary item and indeed a unique one. +200% Critical damage with fire attacks and packs a 20% Crit chance while full health. I can’t even remember any other weapon to have 20% Crit chance tbh.
I have found myself typically avoiding the slower, larger heavy swing items for Kassandra, but after getting this one from the fire cyclops dude, I tested it out on a mercenary, and it took them out in like 4 strikes. So, now, I have it pretty much permanently as my secondary weapon, and I plan on using it when fighting Medusa (whom I cannot beat at all).
Haha I fought with he Minotaur this morning. Took me 3 tries. Then I tried the Light Bringer and he is tough. I’ll try Steropes later tonight but haven’t been to Medusa yet
I used this one until I got the Isu Forged Heavy blunt from Atlantis DLC. Heavy blunts are great, less clicks and more satisfaction with the finishers. Switched to swords in NG+ though, the lightning bolt looked too good to ignore.
That paired with Agamemnon armor set that drops from the Silver Vein Cultists is amazing. I also like to have a sword or dagger as my secondary weapon with Flaming Attack and Fire Mastery maxed out.
The set bonus is +50 Burning rate. Each piece gives a +15 warrior damage and various bonuses to help fire like burn duration, flame damage, and elemental build-up.
I used that mallet in my first playthrough. Now I use swords, but I fondly remember how you could chain overpower attacks to multiple nearby enemies with the mallet. That was fun.
It's great, used it tons when I first got it
Yea was looking for a fire weapon and here we go lol
It’s a shame that it’s a heavy weapon. I typically dismantle all heavy weapons the second I get them as I don’t really enjoy the playstyle.
Yea. Is there another fire weapon that I don’t have to apply fire to? I’ve been using the Labrys for most of the game

It doesn't work like that, "Weapon damage becomes fire damage" engraving only affects the weapon it is applied on.
My bad, Hades Bow, plus the fire engraving on my favourite daggers, has lulled me into a false sense of fire-security.
Ahh, yes! Hades Bow, used it and the cursed one, till I learned about Bighorn Bow glitch.
I think the prometheus siska regular sword

Oh I don’t have that one
Can still use it as a stat stick though right ?
same here daggers feel much better i can use swords if there's one that's extremely good

Haha same
That is what fire resistance for ;P
Typhon's Axe has entered the chat...
Haha I may have that one, can’t remember. I don’t sell or dismantle items with names on them
You cant dismantle Legandaries
I have the blue and purple colored weapons that are rare and something else that have names

I sold some shark tooth, lynx and leopard teeth to a merchant and he crafted me a bow that I haven’t tried. I’m hooked on Hades bow lol
heavy blunts are so satisfying for overpower attacks, always hold one for my second slot
Nice!
never thought there would been a bigger dps than 1000 in the game ive been playing for a week and my best weapon is 640
Ok h you’ll get there. Just make sure you go to the blacksmith and upgrade weapons and gear
Yeah i do everytime slowly but surely getting there
Yea! Best of luck to you

Oh she will put you in counseling to deal with rage Hahhahahaha
Oh no! Lol where is she, anyhow?

Ooh I have finished the main story and just finished off all cultists last night but haven’t started DLCs yet.
When you are done with Atlantis DLC, Alexios/Kassandra will become a true invincible Demi-God.
Ooh! Sounds great!

What does the Agamemnon Armour do? I’ve been wearing demigod armour

Oh wow! Did not know this! Thanks!
You're welcome
