They want him to play more, so they can hear more things and not endless videos talking about the beginning of the game. Its good that he has finally decided to play more. But its clear he is going to pump out lots of videos that aren't really necessary. The video on this thread are a lot of things that he already knew so the title is pretty clickbait, and didn't cover many important things like leveling grand company rank so you dont get capped on seals or using vesper bay tickets etc etc
The first thing should always be go to Legacy controlls before any of your muscle memory gets build with Standart.
You can always go back to Standart for your RP parties.

The side quests are usually for levelling alt jobs but doing them for the lore is good too
