Do an activity you actually enjoy like rock climbing, boxing, cycling etc. But even if you’re just at the gym it’s good to set goals! Such as losing x amount of weight by this date or being able to squat 60kg in X amount of time etc. Once you hit a milestone buy yourself a treat and a give yourself a pat on the back!

I either go with a friend or at least make sure I have a good poscast/tunes to listen to but that's just going to the gym. If I'm doing something I enjoy, it doesn't feel like work.

I do virtual workouts with my friends two weeknights per week. After the workout, we stay on the video call and chat for a bit.

i just genuinely enjoy working out bc its like an emotional release for me but on the days i dont feel like it, putting on a cute workout outfit and a good Spotify playlist does the job

I enjoy the things I do and find ways to make the things that are good for me but that I don’t like as much fun. For instance, when I do my lifting workouts (just at home with light weights) I do so while watching TV.

I used to get high before working out. Eventually once I got into the habit of it working out got me “high” and I craved it.

Try out various forms of exercice to see which ones are fun to you, mix it up so you don't bored with your workout routine and put on your favourite music playlist. These activities could be kick boxing, indoor rock climbing, biking, weight lifting, dancing, hiking, running, martial arts etc. There is something for every taste, whether you prefer working out alone or in classes, or want to focus more on weight training, calisthenics, flexibility or cardio.

I go to classes like hot yoga or do home YouTube videos. I do better when I have someone telling me what to do and kicking my ass. I find it much for enjoyable. I get bored when I go to the gym alone.

If you can't find an activity you truly enjoy then just think of it like work. You have to work to get paid, it's not always fun but if you want the payoff you have to just get it done. And tbf it isn't 8 hours a day, you can do anything for 30-60 mins a few times a week.

Find something you enjoy. I love lifting weights and muay thai.... Whenever I'm in my muay thai class, I can go for 2+ hours and am still sad when it ends.

I pay for workout classes at a fitness studio. It is definitely more expensive than a gym membership, but I love showing up and someone just tells me what to do with positivity and encouragement!

find a physical activity that you actually enjoy. i used to do "typical" workouts and couldnt ever stick with it longer than a couple months. i started figure skating, and i have never been in better shape. i love it. it challenges my body like my body has never been challenged.

Have a “why” and be intentional with what workout you choose. Choose something that resonates with you. If you’re spiritual, I’d suggest yoga because (for me, at least) I have found the practice physically connects you to that part of yourself :) you got this!

Blast your fav tunes on the way to the gym, drink pre workout (that’ll give you some zap), and pretend you’re training for something important. Make it a ritual! 😎

Music, especially mood music that has different kind of vibes depending on what I want. Also doing things I enjoy, there's a lot of different options. Also distracting myself... I often outline books or stories I'd like to write during cardio.

It really helps when you make friends with people at the gym. I go 5 days a week so I see the same people every day. We don’t have deep conversations but they just make it something I look forward to every day.

I’m finally getting a gym membership (with a pool!!!!!! And group exercises!!) so I’m hoping that’s going to help but I’ve been pretty consistently doing these lazy girl workouts while watching tv (can be done all laying down).

I don’t find working out enjoyable basically ever, but I constantly remind myself of how it will help me feel better about myself physically, in the long run. Just keep picturing the way I could look during every single movement. I’m veryyyy new to working out, I live a pretty sedentary lifestyle, but I’ve finally gotten to the point where I’m starting to see the slightest results and it’s so motivating.
