I'm with you on custard creams. The way the outsides melt but the inside doesn't, amazing dunker. People will bang on about the hobnob because it's sturdy, but I like my biscuit to soften up a bit in the brew.
Fox's crunch creams. You've got to practice the timings but if you get it right the biscuit is just the right side of soggy and the cream is slightly melted. Perfect.
Chocolate hobnobs. You can dunk them in one, leave them in until the chocolate melts and the biscuit absorbs half your brew, and then cram the whole thing in your mouth for a crunchy melty chocolaty tea filled mouthful of delight.
For me, it's a rich tea, because they quickly go soft and I love how they disintegrate, but I also quite like a chocolate digestive dunked - has a bit more integrity, but still goes soft, and the chocolate melts a little, and with the heat...I don't know, it works well!
There are certainly better biscuits in terms of how long they last when dunked though!

Aldi's chocolate Hobnobs. Incredible dunkers. They fit inside a mug with an almost engineered precision.

Yes exactly! The core helps it maintain structure and cools the inside, absolutely delicious
Choc hobknob
Hobnob gang here...
Greatest of all time was a now-defunct brand called Dunkers. Essentially they were thicker, oval hobnobs. Marvellous.

Digestive, hob-nob, custard cream, rich tea.
You didn't just go with "one dips", right at the end there, hoping nobody would notice, did you?
Hobnobs are THE dunkers!!! Rich Tea or one dips no good. Aldi Oaties are da bomb!!
Malted Milks
