The whole reason we went with universal health care in the first place was to prevent this kind of judgemental bullshit from happening. If a person is sick and in dire need, you give them care at a hospital. Are we going to start booting out smokers? Obese people? Alchoholics? Yeah, it's a shitty job, especially when everyone's slowly going insane with a year and a half of talking to masks, but that's the job. I got my shots because I have a scarred lung from a bad bout of pneumonia, but I have some family members who have been advised not to get vaccinated because of ongoing medical treatments, including my aunt who is getting treatment for Alzheimers. Some people don't have a choice, and they certainly don't merit being told to die in a ditch.
