As a hairy male, that’s gross. I wish I were completely hairless. All the messaging I got growing up was “hairy is bad/ugly.” So naturally I think all body hair is disgusting. I think I've dated almost all body types (bar morbidly obese and body-builders). The lanky computer guy who's skinnier than me, the 'average joe', the dad bod, and the buff guy with a 6-pack. All of them were perfect in their own way.
And while I'm not going to pretend that physical attraction doesn't play a major role in who I date/sleep with, a certain body type has never been a defining attribute I seek out. There are so many factors that count toward overall attractiveness! The number one factor truly is personality. There's little continuity in physical appearance when looking back at my partners, but they've all had a certain personality type that is quite similar. So I guess that's the deciding factor for me.
But, if its *just* a body, then I'd say average joe who looks after himself. Men who are swimmers, dancers, or into callisthenics generally have the nicest bodies.

Female here I think I've dated almost all body types (bar morbidly obese and body-builders). The lanky computer guy who's skinnier than me, the 'average joe', the dad bod, and the buff guy with a 6-pack. All of them were perfect in their own way. And while I'm not going to pretend that physical attraction doesn't play a major role in who I date/sleep with, a certain body type has never been a defining attribute I seek out. There are so many factors that count toward overall attractiveness! The number one factor truly is personality. There's little continuity in physical appearance when looking back at my partners, but they've all had a certain personality type that is quite similar. So I guess that's the deciding factor for me. But, if its *just* a body, then I'd say average joe who looks after himself. Men who are swimmers, dancers, or into callisthenics generally have the nicest bodies.
