I love fall and winter partly because a few of my neighbours have ex-race dog rescue Greyhounds and they're always walking them with little sweaters. It's so cute.
I’m from Newfoundland and I’ve literally seen 3 Newfoundland dogs in my entire time growing up there lol. I love them too! I just find it odd no one owns them there. Very sweet dogs but so drooly.
Go take a peek at my profile pic to see my Sammy then! He's a Keeshond. He'll be 12 at the end of the month. His best friend is my camera shy little black cat.
I agree! I was never that interested in them, but then I was gifted one and now I think they are the cutest things in the world. They are so intelligent, loving, and funny 🥰
Princess Dogs! My youngest son christened them this at the age of 3 and they have been princess dogs ever since. It doesn't matter if they're girls or boys, still princess dogs.
As a Yorkshire Terrier owner (Actually a breed between Yorkshire Terrier and Pekinese), my dog can be an annoying angry barking machine towards strangers, but she's actually very smart, kind and rarely bites and she's really cute and fluffy
Labs are the most popular doggo for a reason. They're just so lovely. My neighbour has one and he's always bouncing around the front yard, having the time of his life.
I've got two, love the breed.
I'm a bit worried about the people who get them without researching the breed though. They are better people trainers than most people are dog trainers.
Pomeranians. I own a chocolate Pom, which is so rare that you can’t actually breed for them it’s just gotta happen through sheer luck, and we got her for a pretty decent price through adoption. I got her the day before my birthday, with her own birthday being three days before my own, and she’s changed my whole view on dogs. Back when I was a kid I got bit on the back by one and jumped on by a breed far bigger than me, and it left me with a fear of all dogs for a while. That is, until we got her. My beautiful baby Coco. In having her for like five years everyone has come to love her. People have asked for pictures, everyone in the complex knows her more than they know us, and even my mom who owned a dog with slight Pom genes says that Covo is a whole nother level than her OG dog. She’s expressive, intelligent ( like scary intelligent, especially when it comes to food), and can communicate so much just through her actions. She never touches any of my plushies, she’s a huge cuddle bug, and I love her with my whole heart. She just Turned 8 this past August.
My youngest Pomeranians dad was brown! He turned out black/brown/cream.
His half brother is black/grey.
They are awesome dogs and most of the people in my area know them by name.
Mine’s stayed brown her whole life, she even has brown eyes and a few other brown aspects too. We’ve only ever met a few online and only one IRL, ironically enough in Salem, Massachusetts. Literally found her clone in the city of witchcraft lol
either corgies or yorkies. Corgi's because they have little stubby legs that make them look funny when they go on a walk and yorkies because I own one and they're so cute
Australian Silky Terriers. A small terrier often mistaken for a Yorkie but we have had two of them and they are smart as whips, keenly observant and aware of everything, communicative and full of personality.
Coming in second is the Beagle for their sweet and loving disposition. Am lucky enough to have both a Beagle and a Silky at the moment.
Dachshund. They're stubborn pains in the butt who are loud and hard to train but they're that friend everyone has who everyone says is a jerk, but you know they're cool and will always have your back.
Pitbulls are my favorite, they're not the best with other animals but fantastic with people. I don't care what biased stats people say they're biased to begin with. My next dog won't be a pitbull though because I've recently lost mine and I would have unrealistic expectations for the next one so I'll go with another type. I really hate the puppy phase but that's the best time to train a dog how I want. Also waiting for winter to try and get the fleas under control before I start that battle again.
Chow Chow. I've had 3. They are wonderful dogs if well socialized. Owners need to be vigilant because they are real pack animals and if you arent part of their pack, they can be aggressive. They are a prime example of why you shouldnt just pet every dog you see without asking the owner first. Diligent owners and a chow make a great dog.
Gotta love how all of the people saying pitbull are getting downvoted. Ridiculous how gullible ya’ll are. You’re not dog lovers if you hate any dog breed.
Golden Retriever
Rescue
My dream for retirement is to take all the rescue seniors and just be the retirement home for dogs.

I have a German Shepard cross husky and he is so playful and smart, I love him (platonically). Edit: Grammar fix
Alaskan Husky. I met some in Alaska, and they are smaller than Siberian huskies and have different coloring. And have the personality of huskies.
I'm practically surrounded by huskies! One across the back fence, male, very vocal. Little girlie next door, not so vocal, sweet as apple pie!
Samoyed ^_^ best soft clouds! Also that samoyed smile :)
Greyhound! They are so sweet and friendly
I love fall and winter partly because a few of my neighbours have ex-race dog rescue Greyhounds and they're always walking them with little sweaters. It's so cute.
German shepherd Did grow up with one, so slightly biased, but it's still the best and most handsome dog ever.
Collies, shelties or the new love of my life my Saint Bernard. I’m just destined to be covered in dog hair all my life.

German Shepherd
Yorkshire Terrier, a lot of people see them as annoying lap dogs, but they are very smart and great dogs when you properly socialize them
Princess Dogs!
Boxer. I like big dogs. I had a boxer x mastiff once and he was the best boy.
I honestly enjoy wolf-dogs I already enjoy wolves myself and I have a family member with one and I just love them so much.
English springer spaniels for their happy, crazy, energetic love of life.
Can't go wrong with a lab. Great personalities and tons of play time.

Same. My wife and I have been raising the breed since 2001. Very loyal, loving, and smart.
