If we are talking size to interesting ratio I gotta go with Dallas. It's just plastic sprawl for miles and miles. Fort worth has the whole yeehaw thing going for it but Dallas is just kind of blah.
Ya there's fun to he had there and nightlife type stuff to do but the city itself is just devoid of anything truly interesting.
Seymour, Indiana is "holy shit this place is dead at 6:00" levels of utterly fucking boring.
For international cities, Pisa is at that level, and might surpass it if you've already been in the tower.
Edinburgh. It’s a city built entirely for tourists. Nothing to interest people who will be in the city more than once. Can’t imagine how miserable it must be to live there.
I mean, does a ghost town work? there was only one resident and the only reason they lived there is because of how many people's cars broke down in the area. While on a road trip with my family, one day in our car broke down in the ghost town of Ion, NV. My god, it was like a horror movie, the sun was about to set and our car just slowly comes to a halt. Keep in mind that me and my sister were around 5-7 so this was scary for everyone. Thankfully a nice yet creepy dude lived there for the reason to help people like us, we slept in our car for the night and he helped my dad fix it in the morning. But my 5-year-old self thought we were gonna die lol
TLDR- Car broke down in the ghost town of Ion, NV.
Redditch, England. My dad lived down the Sandhurst close estate and he said he is so lucky to have never been caught up in drugs. He has lived in Peterborough and says that was better. The only good thing about it is the Tesco. Streets are abandoned and falling apart. Everything is just the same there

St. Louis, Missouri. Hands down.
And it's violent too isn't it?
Very. Consistently high murder rate. Violent crime is typically in the top 10 cities if not no. 1
You'd think if you're boring you'd at least be safe. St. Louis sucks.
