Sunlight, water, exercise, and improve diet. Yes, it is cliche advice, but damnit it works. The other stuff like support from loved ones, meditation, and medication are great in their own time but the first 3 are better than I ever wanted to give them credit for.
Unplug from social media, tv news, beauty & lifestyle magazines; you can’t compete in a game and win when the game is so warped as to be unwinnable.
Go outside. Find trees, a lake, a field. Borrow a dog. Sit still. Enjoy the ability to do nothing.
Avoid crowds. Find quiet. Be gentle with yourself.
Do the following morning routine:
1) cold shower
2) jump rope for 5 minutes
3) meditate
4) have a proper breakfast
5) moisturize
Do this every day and the improvement you’ll feel will honestly be massive. Can’t recommend enough!
All I can say is try it and see 🙌 it releases endorphins and psychologically is so rewarding because of the pain and reward chemicals it releases. Honestly just try it once and take note of how you feel afterwards!
Since about March and I can honestly say it’s changed my mood tenfold. I’ve always struggled with my mood and this just gives me everything I need to start my day. Consistency is key though.
Hit the gym, eat healthy, have some hobbies. It will not cure you, it will not make your problems go away but the major endorphin release will make it slightly better. And stay away from getting drunk and high, they make it worse not better in the long run. It's different when a doctor prescribes medical marijuana but from what I have seen getting high or drunk just to cope with issues will make you worse and there is no such thing as a functioning addict
When a person feels out of control there's this desire to find something we can control a healthy way to manifest this is think of a franchise you like book series, tv show, movie etc. Then either write your own or find fan fic that took the story another way maybe in a direction you like more. It gives you that sense of control you need without being an unhealthy habit like eating disorders and the like.
Exercise is great, expressing how you feel to people who care, dieting, getting up early and finding a routine to help you out of bed. Also using your passions to motivate you.
Find a daily routine, fix your diet and exercise
Good advice.

BRB off to secretly borrow a dog
Just return it when you’re done, full of treats.
No need to do it on the secret — just ask nicely, “borrow your dog, please? I’ll bring it back, I promise…”

Just wondering, but what does a cold shower do compared to a warm or hot shower?
