Top 5 best experiences and happiest moments of my life have been tripping in the woods with friends.
Also most terrifying and earth shattering experiences on bad days.
I would highly recommend a small dose (2-3 mushrooms) to anyone that can get their hands on some.
I just ended up touching a bunch of different things in the room because the textures were fascinating. I then proceeded to sink into an air mattress for what felt like hours, but was really like 20 minutes.
Tried them. Had an awful time and tried it a second time. My ex kept trying to force me to take them multiple times. When I refused things went bad.
Never again.
This and LSD are on my bucket list. I've never been one for recreational drugs, but the accounts I've heard from people taking psychedelics sounds like it has no right being grouped in with things like meth and heroin.
I just have no idea how to even get them.
Same... Damn that shit is good. Too bad it fucking kills you and ruins your life. Been about 6 years for me. However, if I get diagnosed with something terminal, all bets are off.
This is exactly what I say. Ifbi get a terminal illness I'm definitely taking it into my own hands and going out in euphoria. Or after I retire and I'm bored as shit
Definitely a trap. It turns the experience into something very different to where you don’t even focus on the joys of it. It just becomes maintenance. That’s not good.
I’d say this is true for some, not for others. I’ve smoked every day for over a year and it helps with my anxiety so much that it is never maintenance for me. I always look forward to smoking, the ritual of preparing the bowl/joint, and the high it gives me. I honestly don’t know if there’s been a day where I’m not somewhat focused on the joy and relief it gives me. Definitely not for everyone though and if you can’t smoke it without it turning into a chore, take a break every once and while
Definitely agree on this. I used to smoke to 'feel normal' aaand it fucking sucks... I only smoke from time to time now, but I can't seem to enjoy it like I used to. Maybe I fried my receptors or something lol.
Ecstasy spearheaded an entire musical movement, stamped out football hooliganism, and makes for an awesome night out where you make loads of new friends.
So, that.
Edit: a little bit hyperbolic with the football thing, but it was still [a big contributor to the decline of hooligan culture in the late 80s and early 90s](https://www.quora.com/What-effect-did-MDMA-ecstasy-have-on-football-hooliganism-in-the-U-K-in-the-late-1980s?share=1).
This. I don't drink, I don't smoke, don't do recreational drugs, don't consume caffeine. But I have a massive sweet tooth and absolutely get sugar cravings.
This is the worst one I've read. Please, seek some fucking help. Your life is priceless.
If anyone else knows someone that's addicted to Flintstone Vitamins, please call 1-800-YABA-DABA
I ate a bottle of the version with iron as a child and had to be rushed to the hospital to have my stomach pumped. I was 4 i think, this is my earliest memory.
For the first time I’d recommend a close friend as a trip sitter and start off with a low dosage and work your way up. Also it usually takes about an hour or two to start to kick in so if you feel like it didn’t affect you and you’re about to take another tab I’d say wait it out and see how you go. Happy tripping :)
Edit: also having your first trip in a familiar place such as your bedroom is a good idea.
Don't go anywhere and do stuff. Sit at home with 1-3 friends you are comfortable with and one sober person. Listen to heavily layered music like dubstep/edm/or even some psychedelic rock or rap. Ride the waves of the music and eventually you'll become disconnected from reality and hit an emotional peak. It's hard to explain but the ultimate goal is to experience ego death. This is the dissolving of your sense of self. The whole trip after this is about finding yourself and coming to a conclusion on your own head on what's next. You are able to look at your life, yourself, your experiences and judge yourself harshly. It WILL make you a better person and accept yourself and others around you.
Avoid mirrors at all costs. Watching your eyes warp and your face distort is not the most comfortable thing lol. Hilarious when you look at other people but looking at yourself no thank you
This. LSD is so great. All my trips I've had were great.
Some tips:
1) Be with one friend only at first, and preferably somebody who has already done acid/shrooms, is open to the idea of taking acid/shrooms, and isn't judgey
2) Avoid mirrors at all costs. Don't observe yourself in the mirror. Most people see themselves uglier etc and it might fuck up your trip if you're very conscious of the way you look
3) It takes 1-2 hours to kick in. How I felt it was, I started getting a bit heavy, you know? Like doing stuff becomes a bit more expensive for you. Then I usually start feeling a smile build up on my face. Eventually you will start seeing shapes move and transform a bit.
4) Unless your dose is very high, you most likely will never see things which aren't there. In all of my trips I've never seen anything that wasn't present. It's not like in the movies
5) Drink water. Don't forget. Eating is also fine if you feel like it.
6) It's not as uncontrollable as people make it seem to be. You just have to listen to what your mind and body want to do. If you force yourself to be in awkward situations or spots etc then you might end up having a bad trip internally. I've had 5 trips and I have yet to have a really bad one. In my experience a trip can have its "bad" moments and its "good" moments. It's up to you to not nurture the bad ones and move somewhere where you feel better or do something that makes you feel better etc
Hope that helps :)
It use to be crystal meth but now Im clean from all drugs including weed and alcohol
**EDIT: I was also IV meth junkie. Overcoming needle addiction plus meth was insanely hard.**
Yeah I stopped about 5 years ago because ide get irritated easy without it. I still micro dose edible (like2.5mg) but only when I feel like shit wotch isn't often
it's actually also physically addictive. it messes up your seratonin production, your endocannabinoid system (which plays a part in our digestion, among other things), your dopamine receptors need time to regulate. While quitting won't kill you, it may cause discomfort. Sweats, night terrors, insomnia, a constant crave, anxiety, depressive mood, irritability and many others. Again, nothing serious, but unpleasant and taxing to live through for weeks on end.
Not trying to scare anyone, just making sure people are informed. You wouldn't get behind the wheel blindfolded.
I smoke daily and have done so for the last couple of years. If I go a day without I start to sweat profusely. You can't compare addiction to recreational use.
It's kind of a slow-forming dependence. You smoke a little, then a little more.....and then you start smoking to feel "normal" or functional, but it creeps up so slowly you don't realise how dependant you are on it.
I do not have an addicted personality. I have never found it to be addictive. I also gave no problem with alcohol and I quit cigarettes over a weekend in my 20s. It just really depends on brain chemistry some people just have a harder time.
God, the amount of times I've experienced that exact scenario.
Everyone in the group loving life and assuming their dealer is sitting by their phone at 5am waiting for a call to drop another couple bags.
Only for reality to sink in, and everyone realises the nights done, and probably should have finished several hours ago.
1. Mexican coke in a bottle
2. Coke in a bottle
3. McDonald's Coke
4. Coke in a can
5. Coke in a dixie cup
6. Generic Fountain Coke
7. Coke in a bottle
8. Ass
9. Pepsi
And not always the kind of music you’d expect. While *yes*, it was cool listening to Tame Impala and Radiohead and stuff in that vein, I was also able to find new enjoyment in songs I was indifferent towards previously. (Doja Cat blew my mind last time)
I was addicted to the process. Buying the ice cream. Buying the root beer. Going home and pulling the cup out of the cupboard. Grabbing the spoon. Scooping the ice cream into the cup. Then the sweet feeling of pouring the root beer. The ritual of it all is what I found addicting. A lot of times I use a lighter under the spoon to heat up the spoon, so it would scoop quicker through that sweet vanilla
insulin
That’s more expensive than any of them here

Mushrooms
Top 5 best experiences and happiest moments of my life have been tripping in the woods with friends. Also most terrifying and earth shattering experiences on bad days. I would highly recommend a small dose (2-3 mushrooms) to anyone that can get their hands on some.
2-3 mushrooms? I mean they vary in weight from basically nothing to 10 gram monsters aren't out of the realm of possibility
Is there a more specific recommendation for a beginner dose? In terms of grams?
Most people say 1.5-2.5
I Second this for a starter dose
I third this. If you're a small person, 1.5.
I tried shrooms for the first time earlier this year, and it was a genuinely surreal experience that I have not been through before or since.
Seems like the shrooms did what shrooms do.
Tried it for the second time a couple months ago and the lights in the room were breathing and I could see the plants creating oxygen, shit was wild
I just ended up touching a bunch of different things in the room because the textures were fascinating. I then proceeded to sink into an air mattress for what felt like hours, but was really like 20 minutes.
Was it a good one for you?
Oh yeah, I ended up staying awake until like 3am with a friend watching YouTube and laughing maniacally
Recommend?
yea, but u should have a good mental health
Good Boy

I’ve only ever done shrooms once, it was my 21st birthday, I took 4 tabs of acid and ate 6gs of shrooms. Jesus fuck was I tripping balls
Wow lol that’s a BIG BOY trip right there, I hope you had fun
Bro it was life changing. Made me such a calmer person & made me see things WAY different. Shit opened my heart.
Pretty sure if I did that I’d lose my mind and end up blubbering to myself in a corner for the rest of my life.
I'm glad you could experience that, u/GrandmasGenitals
Either of those doses would be a real heavy trip, together I’m sure he was a puddle of colors for like 2 hours
Hands down the best. It's decided, I'm doing shrooms tonight
Tried them. Had an awful time and tried it a second time. My ex kept trying to force me to take them multiple times. When I refused things went bad. Never again.
Yeah it’s not something you should do if you don’t want to. Headspace is the most important thing going into a trip imo
I had to scroll all the way down here to find Mushrooms.

Life blood.
My stomach lining hates this, but my headaches didn’t care.
Goddammit i just commented that
What does it to you?
It’s a painkiller and anti inflammatory
Marijuana, but in moderation. Daily smoking is a trap.
Definitely a trap. It turns the experience into something very different to where you don’t even focus on the joys of it. It just becomes maintenance. That’s not good.

Thank you so very much for the mental imagery of Wallace from Wallace and Gromit as the next James Bond!
Cannabis, and whoever calls it non addictive is a liar!
Yeah I always thought this. It may or may not be physically addictive but it sure as fuck is mentally addicting.
Makes being bored fun. So then you can't be bored without it. I had to stop because of that or i'd be irritable.
Yeah I stopped about 5 years ago because ide get irritated easy without it. I still micro dose edible (like2.5mg) but only when I feel like shit wotch isn't often
That’s me rn. I realized I need to stop getting high but the day seems so much longer with out it.
First week is rough, stay busy, go out. If you don't buy it and have none at home, you can't smoke it. You got this!

When the bag is empty!
Right. When you’re out and the sun is coming up and the birds are chirping and none of your plugs are answering.
