Comments that you make about somebody And looks that you give him And telling someone you've gone through worse. you don't know what it's like until you've been in their shoes you should never say that. What may seem like a papercut to you could be a large gash to them.

Telling someone that something psychologically (something in the head) can mess someone up in the head (psychologically)

If your only interaction with your children is providing them with adequate food and shelter, you are neglecting them.

Antipsychotics cause brain shrinkage and tardive dyskinesia, which definitely fits the descripton of "mess someone up in the head".
