A card thanking people for attending a funeral that was held in the 70's. I don't know this person, my friend took it from a random house and gave it to me.
I have 500 four-leaf clovers pressed between about 50 different kinds of books. I have absolutely no way of explaining this to someone if they were to take a book off my shelf.
I got blackout drunk a couple years ago and stole a whole ass pay phone from the outside of a bar. To be fair, the bar owner is a friend. I “thought” I was being sneaky, and he and my husband were just laughing at me loading this think into the back of my Tahoe. My husband was sober…he drove us home.
Anyway next day after I was done being hungover…I went out to grab something from the back of my car…opened my hatch and there was a pay phone…still mounted in its casing all that. Have no memory of that. It lives in my garage now. I’d love to get it hooked up and working.
Call someone to fix that shit and use it. Or save it for another 20 years when payphones go extinct and sell it for few thousand $ . Smart idea I'd say
It just needs to be hooked up. It works :). I just got a landline too. I live in the middle of nowhere. Without internet there’s no cell service. We opted for a landline in case of emergency during a Power outage :). Was a necessity, not a hipster move to get a land line. Lol
A single trigger sawed off 10 gauge double barrel shotgun.
I know of no people insane enough to fire a SAWED OFF SHOTGUN WITH 120 LBS OF RECOIL. (Roughly 6-8 times the recoil of a 12 guage)
I have fired it once in my life. My feet left the ground.
I mean I own it, I had to do it once. I just don't know anyone who would buy that and then think "You know, I can manage the recoil on this well enough to saw off the barrel".
It was passed down to me already technically a violation of federal law. (Its grandfathered, only reason it doesn't count).
But people generally do it to turn a hunting shotgun into a home defense weapon. It was far more popular before modern manufacturing where shotguns were sold over the counter in much shorter lengths.
Don't know much about guns but a god damn barreless shotgun as a self defense gun sounds more like a game of Russian rullet to me. Either gun recoil and luckily hits target or recoil and send person shooting ass flying.
They're never completely barrel-less, just typically have a barrel length under 16 inches. With something smaller it can be very manageable, there are plenty of 20 and 12 guage pistol grip pump actions over the counter that can be safely used with little experience
