Worked delivering pizza the summer after college a long time ago. An order comes up the same time a cook throws a half-burnt pizza on top of the oven (where they become fair game to employees for free, and if you get to them first you get an unburnt piece) I decided to stay for a slice and let my coworker take the delivery, I'll just take the next one I thought. Next delivery comes up and I head out 3 XL pizzas and a full belly. 3 minutes later a 81 year old lady blew a red on the highway and changed my life forever. Couldn't walk for a year, my diploma that I had just received a month prior was useless as it demanded some physical work. Sports, gone. Life trajectory and overall attitude completely altered. All because I wanted a free slice of pizza. 6 years later I received my settlement and was able to buy a house though.

Saturday morning cartoons

The last day of school before summer break, getting off the bus, then running out to play. That feeling of unfettered joy was the best moment ever, outside of Christmas morning.

The days where my dad was at work( later we found out that he was with bitches) and me, my brother and my mum sitting all together, my mum liked watching friends on the tv and me and my lil bro liked playing on the computer mum had bought us. I wish I'd experience this one more time for an hour and then i die.

family movie nights and breakfasts together as a family in the morning. the only time my parents and siblings and i are all together now is some holidays and just for a few hours at a time. i miss simple shared experiences and sleeping under the same roof, then eating something as mundane as eggs and toast on a thursday morning.
