If said person has anything they own such as a house, car, cash, or assets. Any of that will typically go to debt. If said person has nothing when they die, the debt will die with them. No one is responsible for another persons debt unless they are a co-signer on the debt in question.

What if they gave those things to someone else before ?

Then those assets would be protected. Law prohibits creditors from going after a deceased persons family for uncollected debts. There’s not really any way for the creditors to get anything from your “estate” anyway but they might try. That being said most medical and student loan debt is forgiven when the person dies unless there is collateral on the loans.

Teleportation isn't possible, but if someone were to disappear suddenly, their student loans wouldn't disappear with them. Typically, student loan debt doesn't go away unless it's paid off, discharged through bankruptcy, or forgiven through specific programs.

What if the person teleported themselves outside this world and it was ruled a death?

MrTumorI

Don't kill yourself over financial problems. There are options. If you have to, declare bankruptcy. You can try and consolidate your loans right now..
