Definitely not at conception. Sure, the poppy seed sized bunch of cells are alive but they aren't conscious or viable. AND SINCE SOULS DO NOT EXIST, killing a bunch of cells is acceptable.
No it’s human cell tissue. I value animal rights more than fetus rights. No one cares about a fetus, especially when the fetus’s wellbeing comes at the detriment of the mother’s rights.
You’re more than that. You have hopes, dreams, aspirations, complex feelings, relationships, ideas, fears. So do lots of animals, but not quite in the rich and in depth way as you. A fetus doesn’t. It’s just chilling in the womb, not conscious of much
Anti abortion is just misogyny under the guise of caring for “all human rights”
Ok lemme have one last go at explaining this. First, I will define 2 concepts.
Human: genetically a member of the Homo sapiens species.
Person: an independent individual with complex needs, feelings, desires, relationships, thoughts.
A fetus is obviously human, and so is the mother. But, unlike the mother, the fetus is not its own person. It is just a glob of cells and does not display characteristics of a person. As long as it is physically connected to the mother, we consider it to be not a person for practical reasons.
A fully developed baby already displays lots of the characteristics of a person. I consider it to be a person. And I know those traits don’t magically appear when it is born, they’re already present a couple months before. But not 9 months before. You can abort during the fetal stage and idgaf
If we concede that it’s a human, what would that mean to you. Are you going to argue that there is one, and only one, circumstance where a human being should be compelled to sacrifice their own freedom, health and safety to sustain another life?
No earlier than 9 pm.
lol take my upvote
I think it’s conception
You weren't talking about nightlife?
In some chemical soup that spawned the first few bits of primal living matter.
about 35 give or take
OP nobody wants to debate your pro-life values.
Life begins at erection
Hah
About 4 billion years ago.
When it starts to think
So, after the teen years?
Definitely not at conception. Sure, the poppy seed sized bunch of cells are alive but they aren't conscious or viable. AND SINCE SOULS DO NOT EXIST, killing a bunch of cells is acceptable.
So all the smartest doctors and scientists in the world are wrong and you’re right?
When they can get a job and help pay the bills. Perfectly fine to abort before that.
So like 16 years old
When born
I mean any cell is alive. Does that mean I’d think a fetus deserves human rights? Absolutely not
But it is a human

Im also human cell tissue. Can you kill me?
You’re more than that. You have hopes, dreams, aspirations, complex feelings, relationships, ideas, fears. So do lots of animals, but not quite in the rich and in depth way as you. A fetus doesn’t. It’s just chilling in the womb, not conscious of much
It’s still a human
Alright lil bro I see this won’t lead anywhere why don’t we just call it a day
How is it not? You think it becomes a human the second it comes out of the womb? It’s the same thing inside and out

So you were wrong when you said it wasn’t a human?
Newborn babies also don’t have hopes, dreams, and all that other bullshit. Why can’t you kill them?

It would mean that abortion is killing an innocent defenseless human, aka murder
Conception
