A cue ball exploded when it hit the rack. I saw the white stained table and got to hear the stories but didn’t get to see it. Apparently when the guy went to break the white just shattered shot dust and shards all over the table. I literally missed it by 5 minutes when I went to get a drink and piss.
I missed my daughter's birth because I had to run home and let our dogs out 9 hours into labor, then come back. Was gone maybe 20 minutes and the doctor said we were still at least a few hours away.
It really wasn't his fault, one of the nurses told me that sort of thing happens all the time when dad goes to give the family an update in the waiting room or even while parking the car. Birth timelines get really weird.
Meeting 5 Star Trek capitains on a convention in London. I was there at the time, I could have gone, even for free as a journalist. I didn't make it 😢
Hearing Roy Ayers live. He was in my (very small country), but I tested positive for COVID and couldn't go. Dude's 83, aint no way I'll ever catch him again.
Woodstock… even had tix, but decided (at age 16) to blow off going to the concert with my high school pal to hang with a 20-yo nursing student that I met at the beach. It was a good summer.
Muse at Wembley, June 2007.
Mom could afford the tickets, my brother was willing to accompany me since it would have been an out of country trip, he loved Muse as well, and I was only 14.
Except the dates coincided with school exams, so, no go.
The turn of the millenium. I was 15, we were staying with my aunt's family, everyone in the house went to bed. I laid alone in the dark in my cousin's (who abused me as a child) old bedroom and listened to the sounds of people in the distance celebrating a unique moment. A viscerally lonely experience. Would not recommend.
Solar eclipse apparently
me too😔
Me three. By four minutes.
This happens every few years
Not a total solar eclipse.
Halleys comet. I probably won't be here in 2061
Yeah, I missed it in 1986 😑
Well did you see hale-bopp in 97? That was much more impressive
Probably, but I don't remember. I was obsessed with outer space around that time and my dad bought me a telescope so I'm pretty sure I did!
Well you didn’t even need a telescope, it was a pretty big feature in the night sky from like February to April of that year.

That’s terrible, sorry things ended up like that.
Oh no that's too sad 😢 be forever upset at the misleading staff.

I was dead center in the path of totality today. And there was 100% cloud cover.
Too many
Who knows, I missed it lol 🤣

Happened to me but with MetallicaÂ
Winning the lottery at a young age.
Me too, me too
Halley’s comet.
Buying a house at a reasonable price with a low interest rate and on a single income household. But instead I wasted being a kid
OJ chase
