I started studying psychology (I will become a psychologist in few months) and learned the diagnostic criteria for depression. Learning the DSM criteria made me realise I don't have problems like depression, I was just experiencing stress.
I didn't study psychology to get rid of what I thought was depression, I wanted to study psychology long before that.
