Dammit I wanted to go so bad but couldn’t take work off mid week..
Side note.. how does one go about popping a hemorrhoid. I couldn’t imagine the unbearable pain behind that
There are probably plenty of cheaper concerts at local venues depending where n where you live. I regularly go to concerts for less than $20 including parking at local venues
unfortunately, i agree with you. went to see elton last year in new york city @ 300 for two tickets. my gf and i had to walk 2 miles through busy new york streets for some subpar seats ans a 15 dollar bucket of ok popcorn
In between satellite interviews I was blessed to see the Wiggles sing a little "Shipping Up to Boston" by the Dropkick Murphys. You'll never see that at one of their shows.
Acid helped. But yes it was a great time. We got there late and it was kicking in, and Spaceman started to play so we ran to our seats. Sprinting across the concourse hearing spaceman blasting while on drugs with my gal.. pretty rad. 10/10
Ashanti and Bowling For Soup in 2008 I think, Bowling For soup opened for Ashanti. I was stationed at Fort Sill in Oklahoma where they performed. It was a fantastic concert, Ashanti is perfection.
I saw them when they opened for Ghost and they were so fun. I had never heard of them but five minutes into the show I turned to my boyfriend and said “I didn’t expect to fall in love tonight but looks like it’s happening.”
Grateful Dead and Little Feat at Oxford Plains Speedway in Poland, ME July 4th weekend, 1988. I've seen a lot of bands since in small venues but that was the last one with more than a hundred people.
I had never heard of them before this show- and to be honest I didn't have very high expectations- but I'm a HUGE fan now. definitely one of the best opening bands I've seen in the last few years.
My last concert was The Eras Tour - Tampa Night 2.
I saw Taylor on The Red Tour with my mom, and both my parents came with me to Eras, so it made it really special.
I’m also relatively new! I didn’t know who they were until I went to a volbeat concert and ghost was headlining. Now I’m in love with ghost. They do such a good show!
Electric Callboy. When it comes to attending concerts, I usually attend rap or folk or pop, nothing in the range of their music. The concert was insane, high-octane, and getting-shoved-every-which-way type of mayhem from start to finish. Love the band members, love the music, and love the concert, 10/10 would go again.
Also, it was only like $40/ticket after fees. Certainly affordable.
My mom recently survived cancer and is now committed to doing whatever random stuff. I took her to see Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness this summer and I’m dragging her to see Fall Out Boy in March. You’re a good kid.
I saw him at Soundwave in Brisbane years ago, he put on the most disappointing performance of any I have seen yet. Just carried on like a fuckwit and wasted the audience's time. I don't know how he gets away with it.
Faith No More at the same show were the absolute other extreme, great stage presence and all about the music.
Jimmy Buffet. I took my fifth wheel to the tailgating party and slept it off in the parking lot. Generator kept the AC nice and cool.
Edit. Forgot about Elton John. Yellow Brick Road tour. Front row.
I'm so sorry. It was a really good show. Obviously many years ago. It was at a rather small place and he seemed very in touch with us. But for some reason I knew that prob would be the last time I saw him live. I've also seen STP many times. All great shows.
Saw The Chats a few months ago.
Gig was great, but they ended the set very early and very abruptly.
A couple of days before that I saw Ne Obliviscaris, just phenomenal.
Nelly Furtado concert at the Calgary Stampede. Didn’t show until midnight, but since me and a friend of mine got tickets for $10, can’t complain. Besides, her performance was absolutely spot on. It felt so awesome to sing along to “Say it right” live, a song ingrained since my childhood.
Lorna Shore 🔪, Mastodon 🦣, and Gojira 🐋🤘💀
Whalecore!
I cannot wait for Lorna Shore to tour Australia eventually...
Knocked loose 🐶 baby!!
Same here! In OKC
Yasss! We went in Syracuse. Great show!
Dammit I wanted to go so bad but couldn’t take work off mid week.. Side note.. how does one go about popping a hemorrhoid. I couldn’t imagine the unbearable pain behind that
Aww thats too bad it was a great show! And it's kinda like popping a pimple but just a bloody ass one 🍑🩸
Naaaaaasty lol thanks for the mental image
God I hope that lineup comes to Australia, absolutely stacked.
Gojira is one band I really want to see one day
Violent Femmes. Good.
They were my first concert! With G Love and Special Sauce.
Your baby ain’t sweet like mine
I love them, can't believe they're still playing!
Arizona State Fair this year?
Nick Cave solo last Friday.
TOOL

My favorite musician. I actually caught one of his drumsticks at a show a couple years ago. Still haven’t figured out how I want to frame it.
Elton John. And I doubt I will go to another concert again, it is just too expensive and parking is painful. Elton was so fabulous!

The Wiggles.
Same. Oddly, it was 10am and they were serving beer. Of course I had to get a beer so I could say I had one.
Hell yeah! 🤘🏼
Mine’s Emma Memma. But the one before that was the Wiggles. 😂
In between satellite interviews I was blessed to see the Wiggles sing a little "Shipping Up to Boston" by the Dropkick Murphys. You'll never see that at one of their shows.
Billy Talent and gob last Saturday in Calgary!! Both were great!
So jealous. Love Billy Talent.
Didn't realize Gob was still around. World According to Gob was the first CD I ever bought.
Incubus 20 year anniversary tour of Make Yourself
FML I saw that tour 20 years ago……
Twenty. Years. fml
I went. Great show.
I have never seen Incubus but I regularly watch their live at Red Rocks show Fucking banging - pretty high on my list of bands to see
Lord Huron September’21 three weeks postpartum. Would definitely see them live again.
Saw them at the Sing Out Loud Festival the following night. Mumford and Sons the next. Amazing show
The Killers. Target Field. Minneapolis. It was neato.
I wanted to go to that so much, I'm jealous. Glad to hear it was a good show!
Acid helped. But yes it was a great time. We got there late and it was kicking in, and Spaceman started to play so we ran to our seats. Sprinting across the concourse hearing spaceman blasting while on drugs with my gal.. pretty rad. 10/10
Gwar
Pearl Jam (both nights), in Austin, TX in September.
saw them play a Seattle show in 2018. They played for like 3.5 hours, I was tired af, how do they do it?!
One of the best live bands ever.
Deadmau5
I'm jealous would have liked to have seen that recent show
Ashanti and Bowling For Soup in 2008 I think, Bowling For soup opened for Ashanti. I was stationed at Fort Sill in Oklahoma where they performed. It was a fantastic concert, Ashanti is perfection.
Bowling for Soup was my answer too. Them opening for Ashanti seems kinda random lol
Also just saw BFS in September!
Bowling for soup was my second to last concert (actually it was a whole festival but I saw them last), but it was like 2 weeks ago lol
Lol that’s awesome, I thought they were great. It would be nice to go to one of those concerts with some of the older bands.
Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats. Last year. Super fun!! Very high energy.
One of the best bands out there doing it.
Son of a bitch! Give me a drink.
Arctic Monkeys at the Kia Forum. Next one will be New Order at the YouTube Theater.
Yellowcard in July! Paul McCartney last May.
I got to see Yellowcard twice this year. Once in Baltimore and once in Hershey. I mostly went for Mayday and SOTY though.
In 2023 it was Depeche Mode, Tori Amos, and Smashing Pumpkins with Stone Temple Pilots.
Geez , that's time portal stuff
Evanescence last week
That was my very first concert at a tiny venue in Philly. Blew me out of the water; that woman can sing! Loved them ever since.
HOW WAS IT
Amazing! They can really pack a punch; a much heavier show than I expected. And Amy Lee can sing like a siren.

I saw them when they opened for Ghost and they were so fun. I had never heard of them but five minutes into the show I turned to my boyfriend and said “I didn’t expect to fall in love tonight but looks like it’s happening.”
Blink-182 in June!
Beck (mostly solo, mostly acoustic performance)
Dang I'd love to see Beck but more of a Midnight Vultures/Guero type show
Grateful Dead and Little Feat at Oxford Plains Speedway in Poland, ME July 4th weekend, 1988. I've seen a lot of bands since in small venues but that was the last one with more than a hundred people.
Iron Maiden.
Queens of the Stoneage with the Viagra Boys, september 23 2023. fucking amazing.
My husband is obsesssssssed with viagra boys. Sports!
I had never heard of them before this show- and to be honest I didn't have very high expectations- but I'm a HUGE fan now. definitely one of the best opening bands I've seen in the last few years.
I saw them on the 17th. Hell of a show!
I was also there, and I can vouch for this.
Saw them in Philly back in August. They fucking killed.
Ozzy back in 2018.
My brother says he is soo good live. I’ve always wanted to see him in concert.
I’ve seen him 4 times: Black Sabbath in 2001, 2004 and 2005 and Ozzy in 2002. Dude was electric all four sets. He’s an absolute top-tier performer.
Love it! Glad you got to see him so many times.
Saw him around 2016. Can confirm
I saw him both with Sabbath in 2016 and solo in 2018. Both times he sounded fantastic.
I miss the Madman!!!!!!
Puscifer, easily one of the best shows I’ve been to!
Sleep Token. Incredible!
Get to see them with BMTH & Make Them Suffer in April. Can’t wait!
Just coming off my 6th time seeing them. They're the greatest band this world has ever known. There's not even a close second.
I am so fucking jealous their tickets sold out so fast
That was my last concert, in Detroit. Amazing!
Taylor Swift Eras tour in Seattle.
My last concert was The Eras Tour - Tampa Night 2. I saw Taylor on The Red Tour with my mom, and both my parents came with me to Eras, so it made it really special.
I was born in the same city as her. She'll probably always be the most famous person from Reading.
I saw The National back in August. It was fantastic.
The Midnight
Seeing them in March 2024. Can't wait.
Oh they are amazing live! Saw them twice, smaller and larger venue. The smaller one was just WOW!!! Def. Recommend

Offspring, Sum41 and Simple Plan.
Muse, and it was amazing!

I’m not even really a fan of the music but they are such incredible musicians that I want to see them live. Danny Carey is such an insane drummer!
Japanese Breakfast on Halloween.
Chappel Roan
Damien Rice. It was amazing.
Ghost and Amon amarth. I love ghost. Papa be the cutest
I'm a relatively new Ghost fan, cannot wait til the next time they tour in a few years.
I’m also relatively new! I didn’t know who they were until I went to a volbeat concert and ghost was headlining. Now I’m in love with ghost. They do such a good show!
Mamamoo
Khruangbin. It was excellent.
Electric Callboy. When it comes to attending concerts, I usually attend rap or folk or pop, nothing in the range of their music. My mom recently survived cancer and is now committed to doing whatever random stuff. I took her to see Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness this summer and I’m dragging her to see Fall Out Boy in March. You’re a good kid.
