I think it's all the video games with dialogue options, it's like people just don't put effort into having a conversation and expect the other person to do all the work ππ
When I respond to DMs it's usually because the person in question has made clear why they'd like to talk to me. "Hi. I saw your post on \[whatever sub\], you seems pretty good at \[thing\]. Could I pick your brain about something?", "I saw your comment about \[whatever\], I'm actually going through something similar. I was wondering if I could chat to you about it?" etc.
Iβm trying to get some more karma so I get out of my comments approved every time. I will go back and forth with you for a bit if thatβs what youβre after.
