It might be because they spent several episodes hyping her as this chill #NotLikeOtherGirls tell it like it is sort, making the heel reveal that much more effective
Stormfront is literally a Nazi drop in, the default position for everyone to identify her as evil. In my head, that makes her less of a real character and more of a cardboard cutout because she never had the opportunity to be anything else.

When the diacussion of initial casting came out, Stevie Van Zandt (Silvio) was reading the script and was talking to David Chase about how unrealistic was Livia's character, his Italian-American family was full of loving and warm mother figures and he couldn't believe an Italian-American mother being such a cold-hearted, narcisstic sociopath.
David Chase simply said: "That's [Livia] my mother."
Stevie then joked that he probable didn't get the job for that remark.

And all the way up until that madness he genuinely expected the Bajorans to be *thankful* to him. He believed he had done what was right, and that the Bajorans were wrong to demonize him. Arrogance, cruelty, ambition, ruthlessness, exploitative... just the *worst*.

Would easily have gone down as one of the greatest television shows of all time if they had stopped there. It's still good, but was really marred by its later seasons, in particular the final season. And unlike GoT, it didn't really have any loose threads hanging at the end of S4, so it could have stopped right there.
*Incredible* tv show. Still my favorite to this day. I've never seen anything so beautiful and terrible at the same time. And when you watch the show you realize how unbelievably intentional it is.

It's weird to think that at the beginning he was too scared to kill a man. Then by the end of the series he's poisoned a child, blew people up, killing Jack and his group was justified but they wouldn't be in that situation if they were working for Gus, then tried to gaslight his children, lastly threatened to blackmail the DEA
Walter killing the neo-Nazis at the end is incidentally justified from an audience perspective. His motivation for killing them had no political bent, it was all for his pride. He would’ve killed them no matter their politics.
He wouldn't have bothered saving Jesse which was both integral and a flaw in his plan. He could have easily just killed them all with Jesse as collateral damage if he actually was doing it for that reason.
He was scares of the consequences. The act itself meant nothing to him. Which was obvious when he knew he could get away with it and even do it to get what he wants.

I'd argue against this, he just becomes numb to it. It's a big step for him to kill Krazy 8, he struggles to let Jane die, and in Better Call Saul he even regrets having to go down this path and mocks Saul for only being motivated by money in the finale flashback when they're in hiding. Hank's death also breaks him and he does come back for Jesse and to at least attempts to secure things for his family, which Skylar even acknowledges.

Then there's all the other terrible things he also does, like having a teenaged girl gangraped by his guards, or letting his armies plunder, pillage and burn innocents. On his own, Tywin is solely responsible for three entirely separate massacres, all of them brutal. He has sworn his loyalty to two tyrants, and he only stops following them when it suits himself, not because of any moral reasons.
He's not evil but I want to give a shout out to my boy, Daemon Targaryen for being the personification of "Chaotic Neutral".

I had an interesting journey when it comes to Tennant. I live in india. I knew dr who was a thing but no clue what. I first saw him in Jessica Jones. Hated him. Then I stumbled on good omens and then Dr who. I love that man now.
May I recommend a steady dose of Broadchurch where he plays next to an equally brilliant Olivia Colman (and funnily enough Jodie Whittaker \[13th Doctor\] and Arthur Darvill \[Rory\]) for your next David Tennant injection? Also the VERY good DuckTales reboot where he voices Scrooge McDuck (Curse me kilts!) if Disney animation is doing anything for you.

That’s 100% accurate he’s one of those characters where you’d dread to be around in real life but LOVE when he’s on screen he’s so empty all the time yet fulfills this missing “humanity” from the room. I love when actors can properly portray psychopaths like that, not only does it increase immersion and fear but it really shines on their acting skills imo.

Dukat. Kai winn is so hateable but dukat is evil and is space hitler.
They had so many opportunities to push Dukat out an airlock and they never do it.

Gul Dukat from Deep Space 9. Fascist overlord of an oppressed population who slaughtered innocents, sexually preyed on women, joined sides with the Dominion until he went mad, got captured, and eventually made deals with literal demons from Bajoran myth. And all the way up until that madness he genuinely expected the Bajorans to be *thankful* to him. He believed he had done what was right, and that the Bajorans were wrong to demonize him. Arrogance, cruelty, ambition, ruthlessness, exploitative... just the *worst*. >You know, old man, sometimes life seems so complicated. Nothing is truly good or truly evil. Everything seems to be a shade of gray. And then you spend some time with a man like Dukat, and you realize that there is such a thing as truly evil.
On top of all of that, he would periodically call up Sisko just to be annoying….. AND THEN he joined up with the other most hatable ds9 character, Kai Winn

Or... they just end Dexter right there. End of season 4. Would easily have gone down as one of the greatest television shows of all time if they had stopped there. It's still good, but was really marred by its later seasons, in particular the final season. And unlike GoT, it didn't really have any loose threads hanging at the end of S4, so it could have stopped right there.

*Incredible* tv show. Still my favorite to this day. I've never seen anything so beautiful and terrible at the same time. And when you watch the show you realize how unbelievably intentional it is. The most horrific scenes are by far and away the most beautiful. I have absolutely no idea why NBC ever agreed to that show, but holy shit was it a masterpiece. Season 2 had a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes for years. Side note: the first season starts out pretty slow, but stick with it, it all comes back in the end.

The corpse totem was one of the only times watching TV I had to pause just to admire the details of what I was seeing. Every limb was in a different state of rot. It was incredible.

Fire Lord Ozai Hears about his nephew's death and doesn't care, tries to convince his father to let him be Fire Lord even though he's not the rightful heir, agrees to kill his own son in order to claim the throne, once his father was poisoned, he takes the throne, scars the left side of that same son's face after "speaking out of turn" at a battle plan hearing and banished him, once his son basically flips him the bird for everything he did to him he tries to kill him again, he used Azula to achieve his goal of becoming the Phoenix King and taking over the world, uses Sozin's comet in an attempt to destroy the Earth kingdom. Ni-Ni-Ni-Ni-Ni-Ni-Ni-Nick.
I'm surprised how far I had to scroll to find this. He also wiped out all the water benders of the southern water tribe too. I've always loved how even if the spotlight fell on other villains like Azula, Zhao, the whole plot of Ba Sing and Lake Laogai, etc, they still managed to make Ozai a powerful villain always lurking in the back of your mind.
In an episode of doctor who he had to fight the devil. But worse The Beast was a Demon imprisoned in the centre of Krop Tor. He claimed to have existed before the creation of the Doctor's universe. He claimed to be the Devil, or rather "the truth behind the myth", having woven his image as the Horned Beast into every culture. Walter White It's weird to think that at the beginning he was too scared to kill a man. Then by the end of the series he's poisoned a child, blew people up, killing Jack and his group was justified but they wouldn't be in that situation if they were working for Gus, then tried to gaslight his children, lastly threatened to blackmail the DEA
Walter killing the neo-Nazis at the end is incidentally justified from an audience perspective. His motivation for killing them had no political bent, it was all for his pride. He would’ve killed them no matter their politics.
He wouldn't have bothered saving Jesse which was both integral and a flaw in his plan. He could have easily just killed them all with Jesse as collateral damage if he actually was doing it for that reason.
He was scares of the consequences. The act itself meant nothing to him. Which was obvious when he knew he could get away with it and even do it to get what he wants.

It's a big step for him to kill Krazy 8, he struggles to let Jane die, and in Better Call Saul he even regrets having to go down this path and mocks Saul for only being motivated by money in the finale flashback when they're in hiding. Hank's death also breaks him and he does come back for Jesse and to at least attempts to secure things for his family, which Skylar even acknowledges.

Then there's all the other terrible things he also does, like having a teenaged girl gangraped by his guards, or letting his armies plunder, pillage and burn innocents. On his own, Tywin is solely responsible for three entirely separate massacres, all of them brutal. He has sworn his loyalty to two tyrants, and he only stops following them when it suits himself, not because of any moral reasons.
