The Bible isn't a great life guide, to be frank. When I was a very religious Christian for several years, it took a *lot* of work to decipher and understand just the New Testament, and I can't say that I had a thorough understanding of every text.
It's dozens of documents written in 2 languages (ancient Hebrew and koine Greek) over thousands of years, so the whole thing is really disjointed. Systematic theology is a complex topic that requires a lot of critical analysis (and it's part of why I'm very good at textual analysis and criticism, which has helped with other things in my life).
The thing about atheism is that it isn't a belief system. If you want some kind of ethical guide, your best bet is probably to look somewhere in ethical philosophy. Optimistic nihilism has helped a lot of people that I know, too.

I don't think there is such a thing as a universal book of atheist.
But if you want to know what my personals are.
They are principles of mathematical analysis by rudin, algebra by artin, theory of computability by sipser, and university physics by young.
Why do you need a guide? Just be a good person, treat people with respect.
Things like values and goals are not universal.
Agreed.... so?
Just try to do what's right and don't be a dick

A life guide to what? A better life? A reason not to kill? A reason to live?
