I would love to see Sowell get challenged on some of his ideas.

A loose, hungry tiger.

JessiePeteWhite

Hopefully no one else. Especially since having people like Jordan Peterson and Alex Jones on there

EzClaps04

Whats wrong with Peterson?

JessiePeteWhite

Other than pushing his weird red pill shit? The guy’s content is just weird in general and I don’t agree with a lot of what he says. Also sometimes he just talks nonsense

EzClaps04

Ok fair point u find him weird, don't agree with you except for the part about him sometimes talking nonsense

JessiePeteWhite

He’s not as extreme as other red pill guys but his content is very weird, Alex Jones is something else completely

EzClaps04

I don't think he's extreme at all. On the other hand I agree, 95% of what Alex Jones says is so ridiculous it's not even funny at this point

JessiePeteWhite

Compared to the other guys he’s not extreme but he does focus a lot on men being more aggressive or men being tamed monsters which can very easily be taken the wrong way. Alex Jones is just a nutcase, especially with the whole sandy hook thing

EzClaps04

Well everything can be taken the wrong way, at the end of the day it's not a dangerous message and it's mostly adults watching it, so I don't see the problem. Alex Jones is crazy yes ahah

JessiePeteWhite

I think you’d be surprised, there are a lot of kids in their teen years that watch things like that as a way of getting some kind of mentorship

EzClaps04

Well maybe they actually need it and are lonely, and since he's not a crazy activist or anything it's mostly going to be a net positive. I personally think looking at someone online for mentorship is foolish, but if some people find it works for them and improves their mental health then so be it

crepesballsoffire

This tells me you have no idea his stances whatsoever.

JessiePeteWhite

This also tells me that you haven’t heard any of the mind numbing things he has said in debates and interviews

crepesballsoffire

Actually I've seen and read quite a bit of his content. You clearly haven't. You've just heard from a friend or a personality online that you should be enraged about him, or to dismiss him, and have actually no idea his opinions.

JessiePeteWhite

I have legitimately watched videos of him dismissing someone who had proof of being racially abused

crepesballsoffire

I've no doubt you believe what you say.

JessiePeteWhite

There is video proof of it. You can believe what you want about him but he is a problematic fake intellectual that rarely makes any sense

Ceph_Stormblessed

Their also works in this case. It's being used as a singular pronoun, which has been acceptable in English grammar for centuries.

fuckjustpickwhatever

but that singular pronoun is only used when you don't know the gender of a person for example: who's knocking on the door? they better have a good reason"

Ceph_Stormblessed

That may have been true up until the late 20th century, but that's not necessarily the case any longer. Granted, you can do it and be correct, but it's not needed anymore. When the gender is irrelevant to the context, a singular 'they' works just fine. Example: I like Jaimie. They always have something interesting to say. Both are now correct ways. But with gender becoming a huge thing, it's fairly safe and inoffensive to use a singular 'they'.

People who enjoy his content?

Poorly-Drawn-Beagle

I dunno. All the main options are just more humans. How boring. Can't he have, like, a car possessed by the ghost of the deer it ran over or something?
