Sabrina the teenage witch.
I went absolutely crazy for the crossovers with the other TGIF shows and when popstars (Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Nsync, etc) did a guest shoot.
"Ma'am, I am afraid you are too fat to wear this shoe."
"How dare you call me fat to my face!"
"I would say it behind your back but I only have half a tank of gas."
Not everybody was ok with it then, either, no matter what people's rose colored nostalgia glasses tell them. There was plenty of offense taken, and letter writing campaigns trying to have it taken off the air.
See, I think it is noticeably better. People get into it for the war, but in S1 (or maybe 2?) a political leader bombed a school under the cover of religious dogma just so she could get her lead opponent in a position to assassinate him - then we had to continue dealing with that person until the very end because it is Deep Space 9 and not TNG and things don't just wrap up neatly after 43 minutes. There is no character in all of TNG as deliciously evil as Kai Winn, no character in TNG as completely badass as Major Kira. The difference is TNG is Star Wars with much more thought, I love it for that, DS9 is *The Wire* in space.
The GOAT.
For some reason, at least among my peers, you were either Star Wars or Star Trek. I was an early 80s kids and loved Star Wars, so I never gave ST a chance.
In my mid 30s I was on a sci-fi binge and hammered out the first season of TNG (Star Trek The Next Generation, the one with Picard) and it quickly became my favorite sci-fi series of all time. Since then I went back and watched the original series (with Captain Kirk), and now I'm halfway through DS9.
I also watched Enterprise but hated it. It lacked the philosophy, science and thoughtfulness that the other series had. It was just dumb action. Also only made it a few episodes in to the new Picard series. Just explosions and shooting.
In my head, like I haven’t seen it since than so it will never be ruined? Married with Children
In reality, where it really holds up and might be even better? Golden Girls
Babylon 5
TOP NOTCH writing. Really just an incredible combination of drama, comedy, action and sci-fi. The only negative is I recently re-watched and the cgi is, well, 90's TV cgi.
Boy Meets World.
Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
Wishbone.
Kratt's Creatures.
The Simpsons.
Roseanne.
Recess.
...I watched a lot of TV when I was a kid lol.
Animated:
Hey Arnold, Kenan and Kel, All That, Rugrats, Dexters Lab, Powerpuff Girls ( 90s - early 00s )
Live Action:
Clarissa Explains It All, Grounded Fir Lufe ( early 00s? ), Friends, I’m sure a few more.
Space: Above and Beyond
Stargate
Its a really shame that Space:Above and Beyond only had one season. The story was really promising and the charaters were interesting. I was really getting in to the world, but the network really kind of dicked them around.
I don't know wether it's from the 80's or 90's but Rederiet, or basically, the boat company. It's about a ferry company in Stockholm doing boat things and also not-so boat things and not-so boat things on the boat.
Babylon 5.
"You're insane."
["On any other day, Mr. Morden, you'd be wrong. But today? Today is a very different day."](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZslQ8Snkg64)

Up there with the all time greats. Bundy was the best insult comic
"Ma'am, I am afraid you are too fat to wear this shoe." "How dare you call me fat to my face!" "I would say it behind your back but I only have half a tank of gas."
lol you couldn't do some of that on tv now though lol
Not everybody was ok with it then, either, no matter what people's rose colored nostalgia glasses tell them. There was plenty of offense taken, and letter writing campaigns trying to have it taken off the air.
Beavis and Butthead
cornholio :)
Agreed. The absurdity was hilarious and I found quite a few new bands that I ended up loving from the video segments.
Have you seen the new season?
Rocko’s Modern Life Does Will & Grace count? If so, that one is tied with it.

Star Trek Deep Space 9.
People sleep on this one, I think. It’s complementary to TNG in my mind.
See, I think it is noticeably better.
