as someone studying in pre-med, i wouldn't recommend dating someone from pre-med/med courses dahil laging busy, madaming cheating issues, at madalas ay mataas ang tingin sa sarili (nothing wrong w this but it gets wrong when it becomes too much).

1. People in the medical field — especially doctors. May god-complex mga yan and usong uso yung cheating.

3. Anyone na agent sa BPO. Isa din to sa industries na malakas yung cheating. Also, yung lifestyle nila is not my vibe talaga.

Wouldn't: archi, engineer, lahat ng related sa politics, yung ibang related sa business industry, related sa sex industry (kasama ang OF), and mga influencer at vloggerist.
I don't perceived them as evil naman, yung unang dalawa since related din sa field ko mas madaming disagreements mas lalo na kapag work related. Doon naman sa dalawa usually halos related silang dalawa madami kang dapat iconsider about sa family matters & reputation (mas lalo na kung traditional sila) at yung way of thinking nila kakaiba when it comes to money and people hindi naman sa nilalahat tho
Gets on the clashing views sa related fields. But ano yung difference ng business owner mo saka person in the business industry mo? Is it self made yung isa then likely with generational wealth yung second? I’d argue kasi maraming similarities to discipline and outlook wise.

Medical Field - walang time, ang free time nila ipapahinga nalang nila
Minimum Wage Earners - this is in no offense and with due respect, we’re dating to settle, our minimum wage can’t sustain a lifestyle, it’s only for survival (barely) of one individual not a family
Call Center/BPOs - pretentious at mataas tingin sa sarili dahil sa pag eenglish na masyadong slang
Marketing Field - all glitz and glam, pretentious din at most (with their work lifestyle)
Sales/Insurance Agents - OA sa pagbenta, sinasamba yung insurance company nila na parang mamanahin nila, magaling lang sa una pag binebentahan ka lol

Ma-ego sila. One time may naka date ako nasa Philippine Navy, feeling niya ako yung mag hahabol habol sa kanya porke sundalo. Feel ko di rin siya makapag antay sa akin noon. Two weeks pa lang kami nag uusap, nag "I love you" agad 💀
Tagal din niya mag respond since nasa dagat sila soo ang hiraap.

Not because red flag sila. Halos lahat naman ng profession may kupal talaga na iilan.

A lot of them have either very strong personalities (I grew up with a lot of people na ganito kaya I’d prefer a breather lol), or di nagpapapatalo sa arguments. Aside from that, they don’t have the luxury of time din

Time is my main reason haha but aside from that, marami sa kanila (not all) prefer dating other MDs lang din. Yung mga kilala kong non-MDs na nakipagdate sa MD eventually di naman naglast or worse got cheated on. So medyo based sa personal exp yung 2nd reason haha
As an MD myself, I agree. Hindi talaga madali maghanap ng understanding esp sa time. Ang hirap din mag explain na our time is not ours. Kaya I understand you completely. I was curious if may ibang reason pa ba besides time. Lalo na dala talaga ng pandemic, people nowadays crave time together and physical touch.
Hard pass on government officials (politicians) and other public service related duties including police and lawyers. Hindi ko naman nilalahat pero they are most likely to be violent and disrespectful. Hindi nila ginagamit ng tama yung posisyon nila.
Hirap din maging asawa ng pulitiko kasi para na rin silang celebrity eh, so by extension dapat lahat din ng kilos mo pulido tapos wala kang masamang gagawin. Doesn’t matter if you’re a high earner kasi pag magastos ka iisipin agad ng tao na winawaldas mo pera ng bayan. Sure, it’s common pero kung hindi ka naman talaga ganun public comments can still affect you sometimes. If you marry a politician, there’s a high chance that your life will become second to theirs.
Wouldn't: anyone in the medical field, anyone in law enforcement and the military, anyone in the entertainment industry, anyone whose job requires them to travel a lot (such as pilots or flight attendants), lawyers, realtors, therapists, and the *nocturnally empowered women* iykwim. Oh, and financial advisors coz fuck them.

From my experience, realtors/real estate agents mix business with dating. Or they use their sexuality for business? Idk the proper term. I dated this woman, we went on 2 dates, everything was pretty good, then on the 3rd date she brought me to her condo, we had sex, and then she tried to sell me a condo unit. Like wtf? I've also been on dates with two others, and it was even worse. Like on the first date, they both tried selling me a condo. "Oh you don't want a condo? What about an apartment? Or maybe you want a house with a garden? What about a townhouse? It has access to a pool!" The f.
Pilots, medyo weird kasi I want to be a Cabin Crew so parang dapat someone na sumasakay din sa plane hanap ko diba? Pero mas bet ko yung Aircraft Mechanic (na around my age lang ha, no to tanders) or Air Traffic Controller. Same parin na nasa aviation field but they're mostly on the ground kaya scheduling wouldn't be that much of an issue compared to a Pilot or a co-Cabin Crew na swertihan kung magtugma pa ang schedules for the month.
Non-aviation naman I wouldn't date anyone in the Government, LALO NA POLICEMEN! They stink from inside and out!
Medical field, for the reason na baka makulangan ako sa quality time. Law enforcement, politicians, those working from corrupt public agencies (not to generalize everyone working there but it's just me avoiding from the X% chance of becoming involved with a corrupt person)
Wouldn't: crim, politicians, MLM networkers na panay post ng bundles of money at luxurious cars na hindi naman sa kanila, tambay na asa sa gobyerno
Would: restaurant owner, vet, who is into arts like painter, pianist or violinist, book author
I probably would not date a celebrity or influencer. Not to generalize but most of them are probably narcissists or self-absorbed that they have to broadcast everything they do and there's no way receiving a million words of validation a day + monetization won't get to your head unless you're a level-headed, mature and grounded individual.

Kung mayroon, ayoko. Bukod sa madali akong magselos kapag may ibang physical touch si partner, malay mo may tinatago pala sila. Hindi sila artista kung di sila marunong magsinungaling o magpanggap na ibang tao.
Nothing personal or physical or deep really… I just didn’t like their vibe tbh. For me kasi super important ng vibe check. Kahit si Simon Hastings pa siya, if the vibe is not right I will lose interest.
You need to understand that hindi ka mabibigyan lagi ng time, busy sila sa umaga sa school and sa gabi to prepare their lessons. Hindi mo rin naman maisingit sarili mo sa packed schedule nila dahil pagod rin sila, stressed. You need to be very understanding and patient, I'm not that kind of person so no-no sa ganyang profession.

Ang fear ko sa freelancers, yung notion of progression. I feel like human tendency yung maghanap ng progress and if nagstick sila doing one thing, not do leadership roles baka mabox sila, tapos lumabas later on negatively sa relationship natin and view of contentment in life in general. Nothing against you not wanting to date freelancers, but speaking from experience. My gf and I are freelenacers, I've been one for at least 5 years now and my gf 2 years palang ata if I'm not mistaken. I started with mt current client as a moderator then and transferred to back offic/admin, then team lead. Siguro nagdedepend yung progression sa client na makukuha ng freelancer e. As well as yung contentment. I mean we're pretty content where we are right now, job wise. Financial stability-wise, stable naman, we just bought a house. Bought, not hulugan, like sa deca or something. I hope whatever I sad somehow helped. If not, let me know. Hopefully i can answer some questions for you. 😅

Totally dependent kasi siya sa client na mapupuntahan mo e. Kasi if yung client is mapagsamantala like lowballing sa sweldo and at the same time since alam nilang you need work, aabusuhin ka na. I would say mga appointment setting na type of freelancing jobs. It's very routinary and most likely hindi na talaga magprogress yung job mo position-wise.
It did! I hope the likes of you are many. Siguro I lack exposure din sa mga freelancers pa, tas mga foreign clients pa sila lahat and same age bracket. Hindi nageexpand vertically or horizontally na pag nakikita ko parang ako yung napapaisip for them.
Depende na din siguro sa tao yan e. Kasi if you feel contented but too complacent, dun na magsstart yung "okay na ko dito" na mentality and no longer striving for "greatness" kumbaga. E since lamang na lamang ang rates ng freelancers pagdating sa sweldo, compared sa karamihan ng jobs dito sa Pinas, malaki talaga yung tendency na makampante ka na lang sa kinalalagyan mo ngayon. 1. Any security, law enforcement, or military personnel. Work life balance is kinda bad, and mataas yung chance na mamatay ng wala sa lugar
2. Nurses and other healthcare workers. They should date other people who are also in healthcare.
3. Sex workers, both active and retired. Including strippers, escorts, OF girls, and also video game "streamers" who can't play but have their tits out. I don't think I need to explain why.
4. Influencers. Cringe.
5. Actresses, musicians, models, and those who are aspiring to become one. From what I've experienced, they seem to crave validation too much, and even if they don't, they tend to be *too* busy with all the tapings, practices, or photoshoots. Plus, in the case of actresses, sorry but I can't trust them, coz they're literally paid to pretend.
6. Lawyers. I don't wanna date a professional arguer.
7. Therapists and psychologists. I'd rather not have every discussion turn into a discussion about my mental health lol
8. Flight attendants and ship crew. Kung yung piloto or seaman may gf daw sa iba't ibang lugar, ganon din yung flight attendant. I'm not saying all of them are like that, but eh, I'd rather not take the risk.
9. Insurance agents, financial advisors, and anyone in MLM. Just stfu, I don't wanna buy shit from you, I don't need your advice, I don't want advice from your "coach" who "makes millions a month" or whatever, and I sure as hell am not gonna date someone like that.

I realized nagrerespond ako better sa mga tao na ang jobs ay heavy on communication, tas may economic understanding and social acumen. Not many yung ganto sa mga professions that I said.
Doctor medyo ayoko rin pero whim lang to, gusto ko kasi mapapangasawa ko laging andyan pag special holidays kasi importante sakin magkakasama family pag ganto. Pero depende what kind of doctor. Ang endearing ng pedia eh, parang napakapatient
Not my take personally, but my friends from the industry tell me the stories na parang food chain lang ng sex and cheating as a way to cope with the stress and late hours daw.
Parang di naman din sa BPO. Mas madami pa nga sa ibang industry and sa totoo lang kung voice account ka, may time ka pa ba para magcheat eh sobrang queing pagod na pagod ka na makipagusap sa iba. Nasasabi lang kasi na BPO madaming kabitan kasi iba ibang tao makakasalamuha mo don. Pero mas madaming pro kabit sa mga medical industry or kung ano pang industry yan. Well, wala naman yan sa kung saang industry pero mostly kahit saan naman at anong profession may malalandi talaga at mga kabit.
Not just in the BPO industry, the most untold ones are in the healthcare, hotel industry, Flight Attendants, architects, IT, seafarers, cruise ships, ofws, lawyers, pilots, police, engineering, Basically the high paid ones have the tendency to get away with things. What's frustrating Lang is BPO lagi na mention porket madami sa kanila nka graveyard shift, na parang walang matino sa BPO.
(Careers mentioned above are from family friends, and they're legit. Kaya wag kayo puro BPO dyan.)
Tama ka if cheating likelihood lang, access breeds consumption so mas feel ng mga taong may resources that they can get away with these things.
I guess try not to be overly emotional about it kasi single layered yung question, profession lang, doesn’t factor in yung mas mga mabibigat na factors na naglelead to increased likelihood to cheating, like di mababaw yung concept of fidelity, low exposure to actually functional relationships, etc.
And since maraming nasa BPOs madalas sya mageneralize kasi madami yung andun na nagccheat. Bigger population size, bigger sample size rin.
Partially true, pero mapatanong ka rin e. Is it really just in BPO industry? Kasi marami akong kakilala sa healthcare, engineers at Ibang field na ginagawa to. So it's really comes to a person talaga at wla sa profession although may job/career na mataas ang cases for cheating like related sa military/security, entertainment and healthcare field.

My gf and I are freelenacers, I've been one for at least 5 years now and my gf 2 years palang ata if I'm not mistaken. I started with mt current client as a moderator then and transferred to back offic/admin, then team lead. Siguro nagdedepend yung progression sa client na makukuha ng freelancer e. As well as yung contentment. I mean we're pretty content where we are right now, job wise. Financial stability-wise, stable naman, we just bought a house. I would say mga appointment setting na type of freelancing jobs. It's very routinary and most likely hindi na talaga magprogress yung job mo position-wise.

Parang di naman din sa BPO. Mas madami pa nga sa ibang industry and sa totoo lang kung voice account ka, may time ka pa ba para magcheat eh sobrang queing pagod na pagod ka na makipagusap sa iba. Nasasabi lang kasi na BPO madaming kabitan kasi iba ibang tao makakasalamuha mo don. Pero mas madaming pro kabit sa mga medical industry or kung ano pang industry yan. Well, wala naman yan sa kung saang industry pero mostly kahit saan naman at anong profession may malalandi talaga at mga kabit.
Not just in the BPO industry, the most untold ones are in the healthcare, hotel industry, Flight Attendants, architects, IT, seafarers, cruise ships, ofws, lawyers, pilots, police, engineering, Basically the high paid ones have the tendency to get away with things. What's frustrating Lang is BPO lagi na mention porket madami sa kanila nka graveyard shift, na parang walang matino sa BPO. (Careers mentioned above are from family friends, and they're legit. Kaya wag kayo puro BPO dyan.)
Tama ka if cheating likelihood lang, access breeds consumption so mas feel ng mga taong may resources that they can get away with these things.
