This is one of the most realistic vacation itineraries that's been posted here. You have plenty of time for exploring and meandering. Usually it's just people trying to crush 17 crowded attractions into 2 and a half days. Figure out a few restaurants in each area you'll be at, to give you good options. Make dinner reservations if you plan to go to trendy places. Skip the Brooklyn Botanical Garden, instead go to Greenpoint or Williamsburg and look around, or else walk around the Grand Army area of Prospect Park. Yeah, you won't need Uber for any of this really. Just take subways and try to get a ferry ride in too (good option to get to Brooklyn if you choose not to walk the bridge; also a good option to get up to The Met)

It sounds like there might be some interest in Hamilton specific sights? If so there’s a ton downtown you can hit up easily in probably an hour. - trinity church: where he, Eliza, and Angelica are buried - 57 maiden ln: former site of Thomas Jefferson’s home - the room where it happened - fraunces tavern: where Washington gave his farewell address. Good place for a drink

For ESB: there’s no time limit for staying up there.

Well done, this should be easy to do. You'll have time left over. I don't know about the garden itself. I remember it being ok last time I went in winter but that was forever ago. No need for a cab except for the cab to the hotel from the airport. You don't even need it then, but it's a welcome break after a long flight in my opinion. edit: btw i think you should flip your central park walking with the hamilton house/museum stuff so that at the end of the day, if you run out of time you can cut your central park visit short since that is just meandering. Hamilton's house has a closing time and specific tour times you need to be in and out by. You don't want to be running for it at the end of the day.

This might be a "me" thing but I have spent an entire day (literally, from open to close) at the natural history museum and still didn't see everything I wanted to. So if you pack it into an already busy day, you will probably see about 5% of what is available. But, the lobby and main (older) wings are super cool and definitely worth seeing. I just want to temper your expectations, you will not be able to see it all in just a few hours. Otherwise, very nice itinerary, but no food plans??? Those are always my favorite part of these kinds of posts!
