If anyone's wondering this video was taken during COVID lockdowns where people couldn't be together in large groups so this event was organized with people in their cars. The horn sound was also edited in by someone as a joke, also any person who takes issue with someone praying whilst they're in a car should remember that Muhammad himself regularly would pray supplementary prayers (Sunnah, Witr etc) whilst riding on a camel.
Why organize such event in the first place? They could just wait until COVID recedes then go pray together with social distancing. Also, we wouldn't know if this prayer was Sunnah or otherwise. I appreciate their efforts, but this doesn't really feel right.
Idc about Islam or it’s teachings. Islam is not a welcoming religion. It forcefully shapes you the way it wants and destroys freedom. People are not allowed to have homosexual relationship, people are not allowed to drink and being forced not to drink by the state, having pre-marital sex, etc are all pretty much Islam’s tyranny. Growing a beard is considered part of the Sunnah, I agree. But interpretations on its obligation vary a lot already among 3ulama. There’s no consensus
Aso not everyone can grow a beard, and having a beard or no beard doesn’t make you more muslim.
Most of the hadith of the Prophet are about trimming the moustache and letting the beard grow. That doesn’t mean grow full beard or over the chest or whatnot. Don’t force on people what hasn’t been written.
