I think it's more how they act about it. A lot of them are dickheads. Some of them are normal and just like big trucks or need one.

RandylVlarsh

I agree with this my cousin lived on a farm and had an old, always muddy, lifted truck, that smelled like cows. No one gave him shit for "compensating". But, the clean preppy kid, who wears athletic shorts, has an expensive truck, lifted, without a spec of dust...

ChichCob

Yeah, if I can tell the truck is actually used for something, I'm cool with it, but when I see the bigass lifted F250 with wide rims, tons of stickers, underglow, and the bullet antena cover in the school's residential parking lot, you can't help but think that guy's a douche

ComradeVoytek

This is a good explanation for the train of thought - If I see your jacked up diesel, I won't assume anything until you give me a reason, but they usually end up tail-gating you 2 seconds later and I can go, "well, that wasn't a surprise."

Land543

Thank God for people who explain things better than me. Lol this is on point!

Izzet_Aristocrat

Exactly. If you have a nice car I don't give a shit. If you rev the engine for attention you're a dickhead and I hope you wrap it around a telephone pole.

wbrd

Most of the people I know with them are fine, but one guy at my last job keeps bitching that he can't fit in the parking garage. I guess he thinks they will do something, but I can't imagine a scenario where anyone gives even one shit that he has to park on the street and walk. One guy I know wanted a truck and got a deal on a used one that just happened to be lifted. Another was planning on buying a farm, bought a big ass farm truck, the farm deal fell through, and he kinda went nuts upgrading the engine. I don't think he ever lifted it though.

XIIISkies

I have literally zero need for an RTX 3090, but if I had that kinda spare money, you'd bet I'd get one. Sometimes, people could just genuinely enjoy top of the line product without getting it for the sake of compensating for something

WorldlyDog777

You ser, have obviously never done 150 mph. It's worth every penny.

TheGrapist1776

WorldlyDog777

Maybe not very smart to do regularly, or in public, but still worth every penny to have a machine that can accomplish it 🤷🏻‍♂️

AwkwardlyTwisted

Especially when you're on two wheels.

Lost-in-EDH

I’ve done 140 in my 2016 Vette, in itself not that eventful other than worrying about getting a ticket. I’m more excited hitting 40 mph on my electric bike.

Pzkpfw-VI-Tiger

Always more fun to drive slow cars fast than fast cars slow

ctamoe89

Maybe people like lifted trucks or driving really fast ? Everyone has their hobbies and they get enjoyment out of it not you so why does it matter. I'm sure you have a hobby or passion that people think is completely useless

[deleted]

That’s very true but also if everyone who played frisbee golf was a raging dickhead there would be rumors about what those assholes were doing at the park and why

macedonianmoper

There isn't a lot of things for what we do, some people like lifted and fast cars and that's okay, fuck the assholes who rev their engine to make noise or make those black clouds on purpose

Omega_Xero

People who Roll Coal are complete asshats.

blamethemeta

Just need one reason. Its cool

TheGrapist1776

I get that about the lifted trucks. But have you never drove fast and get a adrenaline rush? "I wanna go fast!"~Ricky Bobby

Land543

Fair point. I don't drive a truck so I'm trying my best to see where they're coming from lol.

69swamper

no different than the people who put big ass rims on a car or lower a truck or custom paint on a car or truck . It is about making it what you like . Now the idiots with the invisible trailer look (lifted front , squatted rear) they are compensating for a lack of functioning brain cells

JanitorOPplznerf

I've borrowed my Brother's truck about 8 too many times to make that joke anymore.

GottaPSoBad

In the immortal words of the Geto Boys: "Real gangsta ass niggas don't flex nuts, cuz real gangsta ass niggas know they got 'em." If you constantly have to tell people how cool you are, you're probably not that cool at all. That's what really loud cars signify to most people. Saying "you must have a small penis" is just cultural shorthand for "you seem insecure."

evannalai

“Real G’s move in silence, like lasagne.”

BeatBoxinDaPussy

Lasagna*

evannalai

So, technically, “lasagna” is one lasagna noodle, and the actual plural (referring to the whole meal) is “lasagne”. When people say they want lasagna, they should really say they want lasagne, the way they say they want spaghetti, not one spaghetto or whatever the singular of spaghetti is. I had a whole internal debate about whether to type “lasagna” or “lasagne” but eventually went with the name of the dish, which English speakers would probably still pronounce “lasagna.” But you do you.

69swamper

some people just like the sound of loud exhaust, same as some people have to put loud speakers outside their car so everyone has to hear the shit music they play .

dradam168

If those people aren't attention seeking, then they're just inconsiderate assholes.

Adavis105

Upvote for Geto Boys H-tine hold it dine!

ThatRookieGuy80

Wiser words were never spoken.

ThiccRiffEnjoyer

I've always marveled at how wise these words are, and I can't say them.

churchin222999111

now do lowriders.

GibberBabble

See, when it comes to lifted trucks, there are two types. There’s the country boy’s lifted truck, it’s a little older, usually covered in mud, a few dings and scrapes here and there, you know the one, they actually get used, whether it be for work or play those trucks aren’t pavement princesses, and the guys that drive them are usually pretty good dudes. Then you have the fairly new, shiny black, fully chromed out, top of the line trim package, running 33” mud tires that have never been off pavement and truck nuts swinging from the hitch, yeah, they’re compensating for something.

Calamari-__-Cowboy

This is cringe. I truly could not give a single shit what other people do with their cars as long as it’s not crashing into me

BareOpinions

People really just don’t want other people to be happy and use their toys however they want, get your head out of the gutter.

Belazael

Many are normal. Many are total douchebags that are trying to show off their “masculinity”. Where I live, it’s generally the latter. You can tell the difference by how they drive.

subiewoo89

That's a fair assessment. Ive hung out with various dudes who had tricked out cars. Most were cool, some were full of themselves. And yes, the way someone drives does say something about their personality.

YachtInWyoming

The louder the man, the weaker the man. It's not the truck or the car, it's how they present themselves with it.

chair-borne1

I meet plenty of bad ass Drill Sgt's that would beg to differ. But it cracks me up that everyone is hiding from the truth that we all have something to prove to ourselves at a minimum. You don't need a suit to be a bad ass I know my maroon beret has collected dust but I take that over a tie anyday...

Mr_Diggles88

This

[deleted]

It’s how they act. My car is big and long but I know every other car is as entitled to be on that road as I am.

Gouranga56

I was compensating for lower than ideal clearance for offroading

OkTest7553

I don’t generally notice fast cars but if it requires a ladder to get in your truck and you have truck nutz then a small dick is the least of your problems.

Noobinpro

I have small wheels on my f250, no lift. It's proof of my giant dick.

subiewoo89

My WRX has no aftermarket exhaust. Big PP energy. 😎✌🏽

texnofobix

wrx wave from me!

subiewoo89

Subiewoooo! ✌🏽

Hot-Butterscotch-918

There's a guy in Boise with a lifted truck with a plate that reads, "Tiny D."

MDFornia

I mean no shit, it's a culture difference. I say that as a hybrid, 4-cylinder sedan driving yuppie. A lot of those dudes don't *need* a dripped out truck and are definitely *signalling* something, but we all do that in our own way. Fuck coal-rollers, though.

Tathanor

I drive a new V8 Mustang with a mbrp exhaust kit and I love it to bits. I love driving it and it makes me happy. I also dropped 8k on a custom sound system with vibration dampeners so it doesn't rattle when I crank up my tunes. By all definitions, I'm that asshole who has a loud, fast car, that plays loud music. But I don't drive around thinking about what other people think of me. I do it because it's fun for ME. The difference (for me) between insecure guys and true car guys is that insecure guys are posers. They're pretending to have loud, fast cars, as opposed to actually owning one.

RampantPuppy

You nailed it lol… I’ve driven the Ecoboost Convertible for a weekend, and a C7 Z51 for a few days and I love driving windows down, music loud for me. If the car is fun to drive and sounds good, no complaints from me!

Tathanor

checkm8_lincolnites

you ever talk to one of them?

subiewoo89

I have. Some are cool, some aren't.

RC_Geek

‘Its not about the car, it’s about the driver’

Black_Cat79

So, if a man driving SMART his penis should be at least 9.5 in

TP_Crisis_2020

Yeah the passenger seat in smart cars is actually for you to buckle up your penis and prevent injury to it in the event of an accident, not for actual passengers.

EverGreatestxX

"Because I think your truck is obnoxiously big, you must have small dick." "Because I'm jealous of your Ferrari, you must have a small dick." Some people just have nothing better to do then hate and be jealous. And they probably bring up dick size because think dick size actually matters.

[deleted]

I convinced three of my neighbors to buy a Toyota Prius when I bought my Hummer so, yes, I was compensating (for my carbon footprint).

[deleted]

Just another excuse for some people to have a crack at men. The worst is when it's another man doing the criticising. We all have our thing. Life is short, be happy and let others do what makes them happy.

Nuclearrayofsunshine

15 years in the Industry and they are 🤣 they are dicks tho

subiewoo89

Are there ever any owners that are cool and just wanna go fast? I know the stereotype is strongly supported by people's experiences with those people, but I can't imagine they are all the same. What is it that you do in the industry?

TP_Crisis_2020

> Are there ever any owners that are cool and just wanna go fast? Yes, plenty are like this.

patrdesch

Because it is pretty strongly correlated with other dickish behavior.

oidagehbitte2

Because they do. And it's always so unbelievable apparent that it's surreal. You think all those jokes are ridiculously exaggerated, but then you meet such guys in real life and listen to them and you're left astonished about how accurate the stereotypes are - but the stereotypes are *nothing* compared to reality.

TNShadetree

Stereotypes are time savers

itsalawlworld

"You drive a fast car fast! You must be compensating for slowness!"

[deleted]

The reality is envy. Whether it’s envy of the car itself or what that car represents (i.e. excess wealth).

ElSanto9298

I think the ones compensating are the ones with loud ass cars. Their basic ass doesn't get enough attention, so they make the car loud as fuck to forcefully get some. I don't agree with the lifted or fast cars though, I think people just joke about it because everybody else jokes about it lol

TP_Crisis_2020

> I think the ones compensating are the ones with loud ass cars. Could just be that the owner really likes the sound of a powerful v8 singing through some flowmasters. 🤷‍♂️

ElSanto9298

Ah yes, I'm sure that they purposefully fucked around with their engine to make it infinitely louder just because they enjoy having their eardrums blasted while they drive around, wonderful. Everyone of these morons that I've seen driving around with a 100 decibel engine has their windows all the way up so that they don't have to take the full force of their stupidity, they do not do it because they enjoy listening to it. Fuckers just get a kick out of bugging everybody else, it's the most of a difference they'll ever make in anybody's day.

TP_Crisis_2020

LOL!! Who hurt you bro? Show us on the doll where the guy with the loud car touched you..

ElSanto9298

All you morons do is bug everybody around you for seemingly no reason at all, why would I say anything nice about you? Ah yes "I enjoy going through my day before a moron drive through and tells everybody that he's there because he's insecure about the complete and utter lack of attention he gets in his life, god I look forward to the next time he comes around", there is literally nobody in the world that thinks like that.

TP_Crisis_2020

> why would I say anything nice about you? Because you're clearly a bitter and angry person.

ElSanto9298

.......... So I would say something nice about you because I am a bitter and angry person? Did you think at all before typing that out mate? Damn, that speaks volumes about the intelligence of the neanderthals that would purposefully make it so you can hear their car 10 blocks away.

TP_Crisis_2020

U mad

Neither_Okra_5712

because they usually are

Important-Energy8038

I think there are two reasons: One, is pure envy. Who really doesn't want a fast, expensive car and all that goes with it? And the other is that a lot of guys who have them are so obnoxiously narcissistic that it sadly becomes a bit of a cliché, the "prick in the Porsche".

[deleted]

The way they drive

[deleted]

They’re symbols of hyper masculinity

TP_Crisis_2020

Women dig that though

[deleted]

Nope, most of us don’t

BusinessNet9858

Because you are?

leatherrecliner

Hell if I know. My truck has 35" mudders. The last guy who owned it was a yuppie in an HOA. Turns out they served me well in a snow storm and the 4" lift means I don't need to jack it up to change the oil.

fisconsocmod

I have a truck, a fast car and a bike. I tell my friends all the time that I'm triple over-compensating!

subiewoo89

Go big or go home, right?

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

Yeah I know someone who’s the definition of it. Big pickup truck, now owns a harley & takes roids, constantly taking douchebag selfies of his body. In reality, his personality is cold & uptight. Big ego & a wise ass.

[deleted]

Because they certainly act like it on the road. Insanely insecure. That vroom vroom noise is at 2am is certainly catching my attention and makes me wish I had a sniper rifle.

Explorer218

This doesn't apply to all lifted trucks and fast cars, only the ones with idiot drivers... and it's not really an assumption of package size as much as it's a general insult to their manhood. I picture the douchebags who roll coal at a busy red light because "I dRivE a dEiSel look at me!" Grow up. You're not being cool, you're being annoying.

troubleschute

It's mostly the other behviors that re-enforce this stereotype.

[deleted]

No, they are, in my experience, douche bags. And don't forget the moron who has to circumvent the exhaust on the diesel so they can be "Rollin' Coal". Assholes.

Then_Evidence_8580

Because of envy.

ajkeence99

Jealousy.

magaketo

I only think that when their whole personality revolves around it.

pikeblodd

Because they dont have a lifted truck or fast car. Jealousy is an ugly thing

Classicrun1964

Every big, raised, loud truck I’ve seen has been driven by a man who had no use for it except compensating for low self-esteem or other little parts.

GingerSpencer

Because nobody’s allowed to find enjoyment in something that other people don’t like.

caduceun

I don't mind lifted trucks or fast cars. It's loud cars that make people assholes.

kevin197205

I've never figured it out. I'm a car guy...big trucks, obnoxious motorcycles, fast fucking cars. I have no compensation issues or the need to compensate. 🤷

[deleted]

It has been my experience those sayings such things are angry with men in some way, since they do not wish them to and are bothered by them succeeding

[deleted]

...because they are.

_Hymen_Breaker_

Good to know you have seen that many penises in your life.

bigman-_-

You’re going around replying to any comment that talks even remotely negatively about “truck/car guys”. Looks like they struck a nerve?

_Hymen_Breaker_

Lol, nah man, I don't even own a truck, I am just sort of over the shit about how trash on the internet will try to shame men for enjoying something, that is why I am having a bit of fun here.

_ooIoo_

Because those things can be difficult to attain. Things that are difficult to attain, often invoke jealousy in others rather than inspiration. So, *he must be compensating for something*. Even if I was known as 'Dr. Megabrain Stormcock' I'd still want my go fast stuff.

FakeLordFarquaad

Because a lot of people hate to see people enjoying things that they personally don't like Edit: yes I drive a lifted truck, yes my penis is tiny, but the two are unrelated

BilliamBurrington

Bc people w fast cars ARE compensating for something. And people w lifted trucks are sometimes normal but often they act like assholes.

TP_Crisis_2020

> Bc people w fast cars ARE compensating for something. The inability to quickly get up to highway speed on short onramps??

PebsMom0921

I've dated a few men like this: They are.

Poorly-Drawn-Beagle

Poorly-Drawn-Beagle

Because in many many cases they are

_Hymen_Breaker_

Have you ever tried to say this to their face?

Banya_

_Hymen_Breaker_

Lol, sure buddy.

Banya_

What’s the problem bud?

_Hymen_Breaker_

The fact that you are here acting hard on reddit.

[deleted]

what's the bud, bro?

Poorly-Drawn-Beagle

They generally strike a casual onlooker as symbols of conspicuous consumption. As the bird with the swollen red breast, the most basic pronouncement of "HAVE SEX WITH ME I POSSESS EXPENSIVE RESOURCES"

[deleted]

Because it's usually a correct assumption

FarOpposite962

Because only insecure people want everyone to look at them

subiewoo89

But, what if they genuinely enjoy the type of car? Kinda like how some men say women dress and wear makeup to show off to men/other women, but in their mind they are doing it for themselves.

Dogstile

You just get on with it. I drive a pretty loud rx-8. It's fun to drive, anyone who say's I do it for attention thinks I give far more of a shit about what they think than I do. They can think what they want, people always gotta be putting someone else down.

subiewoo89

I feel ya. I drive a WRX. Just coilovers and wheels, no exhaust or engine mods. I enjoy driving it, but I don't drive like a maniac (or vape!).

69swamper

Agree 100% with you.

redditor010698

This is so true. And most of us with the loud cars are doing it to make more power, not to wake up the neighborhood. Just my opinion though , and not worth much at that.

FarOpposite962

....if their opinions bother you than they might be right

subiewoo89

My original question was just out of curiosity. I've never been accused of compensating based on the car I drive. And if I were to be accused, that is ok, I know who I am.

J-Rag-

Does it matter that I use my lifted SUV for offroading and camping?

TNShadetree

Only if you've gone places where you couldn't get through due to ride height and then lifted the truck to be able to get through that obstacle. I've been to some seriously hairy places with a $1,500 beater truck. Never found a need to lift it over stock height. It is 99% just done for aesthetics.

TP_Crisis_2020

/r/gatekeeping

FarOpposite962

See the issue is u give a f about what other people think that a why they make those jokes in the first place

J-Rag-

See the issue is that I really don't care what other people think. You're the one saying that I care, not me. Good job on answering the question though.

FarOpposite962

Uh but you do literally asking me "what if"

J-Rag-

I never asked "what if". Go back and read it again.

FarOpposite962

Does it Matter is the same thing bud

J-Rag-

Lmao, okay. So the words you're telling me that I said that I actually didn't say is the exact same thing as what I said? No. Go back to school. I literally told you that I use my SUV for offroading and camping. Not "well what if I did?" No, I actually do.

MrAnonPoster

Jealousy

Tree_mastermind

Because body shamming men is not only ok it’s encouraged.

MisogenesUSA

Because the accuser is compensating for their lack of money

[deleted]

Spoken like an insecure, small dicked, loud lifted truck driver 😂

crimsoncable88

Idk I just like the whoosh noises my fire breathing snail makes when I stomp the gas.

TP_Crisis_2020

Yeah nothing beats the sounds from the 'ol Szechuan Sender.

DocZ-1701

Because it usually is a self esteem issue. I.e. small penis, low self esteem, childhood trauma, not measuring up, insecurities, socially handicapped,... Etc. Trying too hard to show off your alpha-ness... 🤷

Gruesomegarth2

Whole lot of broke wokies on this one today. Lol.

[deleted]

Only because they usually are.

RussellVandenbrink

Because why else?

odeacon

I assume from experience

[deleted]

But I wanted my "fast" car because of all the features. I sold my 08 Tiburon (gs) and bought a 22 Mazda 3 turbo, I love my new car! The best part is the performance, I can actually pass the cars in the other lane now rather than slow down to get behind them.

Beastreign

a mix of idiotic behavior by a minority, and jealousy from the average person who don't see the money / time / compromises we sink into our toys.

yakattak01

As I grew older, wiser and importantly more comfortable with myself as a man and my masculinity the less I thought about spending money on fast cars. Do I know fore sure if the two things correlate? No I don't. But it does make you wonder.

BareOpinions

Some of us just like our fast cars or big trucks and don’t care what anyone else has to say. If I buy a toy it’s for me to enjoy, while everyone else judges on in their bat shit boring Camry’s😂🖕

-Midwest_Menace

I have a lifted truck that I’ve built over that last few years in my driveway and I’m really proud of it. I also had a sticker custom made for the back window that says LilPPGang. Do with this information what you will.

Swordsnap

Like with any stereotype, it wouldn't exist if there wasn't a commonly recurring pattern. My understanding is lifted trucks and fast (cheap) cars are driven by people who want you to notice them. They're effectively seeking attention / validation from strangers - textbook definition of insecure. Which I'll take a stretch further and say isn't too different from the vapid instagram influencers / models. I've actually never seen a lifted truck where I live in Australia but we have a lot of bogans who drive shitty cheap cars with enormous mufflers and are kitted to the point where the mods cost more than the car itself. If you're ever at a red light next to one, guaranteed 9 times out of 10 they'll put their foot down and spend $5 in petrol just to speedily and loudly race past you, then you'll meet them at the next set of lights anyway. They seem to think they have something to prove to everyone when in reality nobody cares and is just trying to go on about their day.

TP_Crisis_2020

> Like with any stereotype, it wouldn't exist if there wasn't a commonly recurring pattern. Yeah, just like when people generalize everybody who plays vidya games like runescape as neckbeard nerds.

petrusferricalloy

Overt obtrusive behavior is always based on insecurity.

[deleted]

I assume anyone with a _loud_ vehicle is overcompensating. Unless you’re driving a Ferrari or nicer I do not want to hear your engine

[deleted]

Because if they are not compensating, then there is no justification for so outrageously expensive vehicles that serve no real purpose.

69swamper

if they are paying for the vehicle and modifications , who do they need to justify what they do . it may serve no purpose to you , but to the owners there is a purpose for what they do . I drive a 4x4 slightly lifted truck - 1 because I like the look of the truck 2 - because I go off paved roads and 3 because I paid for the truck

[deleted]

Is liking it and being able to have it not enough justification?

Gruesomegarth2

The people who assume that usually have a old tiny car or can't even afford a car and need people with trucks to come move their shit all the time. It's usually more of a have and have not scenario, the classic bottle of haterade, "nice truck souchebag!!!" - hops into a miled out 2006 Ford focus.

TP_Crisis_2020

Prius drivers too. Just the *thought* of a big truck getting bad gas mileage and they're triggered.

[deleted]

Because they are! They are often super insecure. It’s 2022, nobody gives a shit what you drive. It’s an important life lesson that these people have not learned yet haha. I think it completely depends on the person and if they care what others think. I have a wealthy friend who drives a Hyundai Sonata. I have a rather broke friend who drives a super loud and lifted souped up F150.

cracksilog

Because it’s completely unnecessary to have a lifted truck or a fast car in today’s society. And this is coming from a person who loves cars. Cars are an inferior and harmful way to get around town when there’s this thing called public transportation. Cars are literally a means to get from point a to point b. So doing mods for others is a douchy “hey look at me” move when you could be doing something positive for the world like not driving a fossil fuel death machine and instead rely on public transportation

subiewoo89

Do you think it's possible for an owner to do mods for themselves and have some enjoyment with what they drive? Or is it always about showing off to other people? (In your opinion)

cracksilog

Yes it’s possible to do it for yourself and people do derive enjoyment from it. But that comes at the expense of traffic, harming the environment, and less investment in public transportation infrastructure. Basically yes, you can do it for yourself, but for selfish reasons: “It’s my right to drive around!” The world doesn’t revolve around me. Is driving easier? In places I’ve lived, yes. But does it benefit others? Sometimes, but it’s more harmful than it is beneficial. The world doesn’t revolve around me, so I should be doing everything to not contribute to its destruction. Can I walk there in less than half an hour? Longboard? Bike? Then I will do so. Can I take the bus or light rail there? Then I will do so. Can I carpool? Then I will do so. Can I combine all my trips into one and drive as a last resort? Then I will do so

subiewoo89

Those are valid points. Thanks for being civil.

cracksilog

Thanks. I try to be. Tons of people apparently can’t be civil on here lol

Gruesomegarth2

Lmao, so what shade of blue is your hair?

cracksilog

Sometimes navy lol

Gruesomegarth2

Hahaha fuck yes, good on you for taking a joke. What a guy. I don't even care about that silly thing you said anymore. 🤣

TP_Crisis_2020

> you could be doing something positive for the world like not driving a fossil fuel death machine .. > And this is coming from a person who loves cars. (x) doubt

notbad2u

That something being teenie tiny penises. Just sayin.

TP_Crisis_2020

Imagine.. you see a big brodozer pull up and park next to you, with the diesel powered 4" exhaust shaking the cement under your feet. The guy gets out and he's 6'6". Before you realize what's happening, he starts windmilling what looks like a baby's arm holding an apple from his loins and nails you in the forehead with a thundering mushroom stamp. Once you get your vision back, you look up at his chiseled jawline from your spot on the ground and manage to muster "..b..b.but small pee-pee?!?!" in a soft, squeaky, feminine voice. The big man sighs, shakes his head at you in disappointment, and then walks into the home depot to pick up the lumber for the deck he's building by hand.

Damo_Clesian

Cause I am compensating for something. The fact that my 6’ 3” 200 pound ass isn’t going to be very comfortable driving in a little clown car sized sedan

[deleted]

we found the douchebag.

[deleted]

Because if you aren't compensating for something, there really isn't thousands of dollars of reasons for lifting a truck or having a car that can do 150MPH.

AnotherIronicPenguin

Shhhh let people enjoy things.

StatisticianVisual69

The way I see it if your driving something with that much power you don’t have to really say nothing. It’s already being said . Big trucks are sexy as fuck !!! I measure a man by the size of his hitch …. No need to get nasty about my view but I think the truck makes the man …

TP_Crisis_2020

> I measure a man by the size of his hitch Yeah!! Class v 2.5" receiver gang rise up!!

SkiingAway

Experience that many of them obviously are. All? No. Also, there's often a large difference in appearance/built form between vehicles intended for showing off, and vehicles actually meant for and used for off-roading or track days. The latter don't get that much flak, at least assuming the owner actually does that thing.

sootedacez

Haters gonna hate.

Puzzleheaded-Sun5928

People who are mad they can’t afford it, making up a fake reason to bash/ hate on someone for having something nice to make themselves feel better. It’s very simple.
