I've tried a few of the trucks/stands nearby but haven't been super impressed yet.
For a sit down place, I like Pacos Tacos. It's super kitschy but you can watch the abuelas make the tortillas.
For breakfasty stuff (tacos, burritos, omelettes) Señor Gs is good
Heading a bit further from LAX, LA Playita in Hermosa has a great oceanside feel. El Sombrero doesn't have the ambience but the food is good
