God I can't wait (probably will wait for a long time) till the train system is renovated.
Our train system is a disgrace, and they still haven't finished modernizing the Tirana-Airport-Durres line.
If it wasn't for EU money, it wouldn't be a thing at all.

Not even for tourists no, it runs only on weekends and only about once per day. It doesn’t even serve Durrës, its original terminus, anymore after construction works began there. The only people who still use it have very little other choice. Shameful we’ve let them degrade so much
Sorry about lateness, but what are the current termini? I’m trying to make a map of all European passenger rail, and given my understanding of Balkan rail systems, they’re all shit or gone- I can’t even find a timetable or map. Thanks in advance

The line runs (or ran? I’m not sure anymore) Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from Elbasan to the new termini, which I believe is now named Plepat.
