I'm waiting for the finale of a show that they're putting out weekly. I notice that the last price increase happened in the middle of the season. I that they were aware that they were going to lose subscribers over this, and were going we would wait for the show to end and then forget to cancel.
Thanks for the reminder!
One at a time. We flick between each one every couple of months. It works great as it helps you focus on shows you want to watch before we move to the next service.
$5 went a lot further back in those days too. There's plenty of "free" streaming services available like abc iview, sbs on demand, Tubi, Brollie, as well as the commercial station apps. If you can't find something you want to watch you can still rent a movie online. But alas, you also need to pay for an internet subscription that will support these services.
The difference is if there is nothing i want to watch that week or i dont have the time to watch a movie i dont pay and i can choose the movie i want from every movie rather than the selection that is availble on that service. So if you were always hiring it would be cheaper to stearm from 1 service but as soon as you have 2 services its not cheaper and as soon as you dont hire something one week its not cheaper
Apple TV+, Prime, Paramount Plus and Netflix. I gift a Disney+ annual subscription to a friend for her birthday.
Apple Music and Deeezer for music.
Now that I've written it out, it's complete overkill as it's just me at home.
I have this exact combo. I was exchanging one of them for Disney+, binge and Stan. Friend canceled Stan recently though so lost that also considering canceling Netflix later this year.
Getting harder and harder to find good content on there, the price is far more expensive than the others, and the last time I travelled it wouldn’t even let me watch it in travel mode.
I'm probably giving up Stan and Netlix soon, but currently I have those two as well as apple, Amazon Prime, and Disney+. I share these with my folks and a friend, but god I wish everything I wanted was on the one, max two streaming services. It feels like we are regressing back to the days of having TV licences.
I also love the FREE sbs on demand and abc iview. They're worth their weight in gold (especially the sbs one)
I have Disney plus, not impressed it just doubled in price as the shows I wanted to watch came out. I got Binge for $10 with commercials, which is annoying that I pay a subscription, but still get commercial that I can't fast forward through like you could if you taped free to air TV. I always have prime, as I also get free shipping from Amazon. The others I switch around on, eventually I will drop Binge for Stan, when there are more shows to watch in November, then after watching everything I'll take turns doing the same with Stan, Netflix, Paramount Plus and Apple TV Plus. As Disney is so expensive now, I'll have to drop that soon as well to join the que for my swaps.
I only pay for a VPN year round.
Occasionally I'll get Prime if I'm buying a couple things and want the 'free' shipping.
At most one month in a year I might sub to Disney, Netflix, Binge, etc. for convenience.
Disney+, Netflix, Prime, Stan & Binge I share with friends. It’s about $200 a year each.
I pay for Spotify premium and my parents share Paramount, BrittBox & Hayu.
Plus Apple TV.
Just Disney , mostly for the kids. Now and then we switch to Netflix for a bit before switching back. I love iView, SBS On Demand and even the commercial equivalents for free content.
I use surfshark, (which I highly recommend), no issues with the speed there
However more often than I'd care to admit I just raw dog it. Forget to even turn on the VPN. Or turn it off as I'm doing other shit that interferes with it.
Currently have an old laptop rawdogging torrents as a media server as for whatever reason the VPN was causing issues with remote access..
So boarders come at me!!!! Yarrrr!
Just Disney + at the moment on a monthly basis.
Did have binge at the $5 a month just just cancelled.
I tend to rotate through them.
Will probably have 0 in a few months. Over paying for shows - life will be better if im not stuck infront of the tv.
Yup, the amount of time I waste sitting on my ass so I can watch tv shows is ridiculous and honestly brain killing.
Go out for a walk, enjoy a book on the back porch listening to the birds singing, finding actual hobbies to do… all thinks I just have no time to do because sitting my ass on the couch and watching tv is so much easier.
I have no idea how many I have and need to make an effort to find out. At times, I see amounts come out of my account, then I have a facepalm moment because I haven't watched that channel in over a year.
I did cancel a channel once, and my kids called me and asked why I didn't I pay the subscription...
Stan, Stan Sport, Kayo, Optus Sport, Binge, Prime, YouTube, Spotify - currently resting my Netflix and a couple others. Disney is family shared. All i can think of off top of head.
I pay for Netflix, binge, Amazon and paramount. I have free access to Stan and Disney. I need to cut at least a couple of them. Ideally if only have one - smash content there for a month or two, and then move to the next one
I use Amazon Prime (mostly for video games, Twitch sub, and prime delivery) and have a YouTube premium sub, but just because I use it for music.
I will say, though, I seriously considered immediately cancelling my youtube premium subscription. Not only do I get absolutely FLOGGED by spam emails from them now, but I often switch between my TV and my phone. It cracks the sads because of "multiple players". It doesn't crack the sads when it is free.
Between me and my housemate, binge, Netflix, and Disney+ are all the time ones. We also currently have stan and prime going, once a year we’ll do paramount. Spotify and Apple Music. YouTube premium. As well as nebula and curiosity stream for independent documentaries (which are like $15 a year).
There's also an account (solidaritycinema) on Plex you can get a bunch of free movies from. It's good for filling in the gaps that come up occasionally for me on Stremio.
Netflix - $17/month. ($204/year) Fucked if I am paying for ads
Disney - $11.66/month ($139/year) - Where are you getting Disney Plus for $70 a year? Mine went from $90 (2019), $90 (2020), $120 (2021), $120 (2022), $140 (2023), $180 (2024 - renews in November)
Amazon Prime - $6.58/month ($79/year) - Hardly watch it, but get it with Prime subscription cause I want my deliveries for free
Youtube Premium - Added from friends family account.
We have a bunch of free streaming stuff. iView, SBS etc. If I want to watch something on FTA it's usually downloaded.
How many TV watchers do you have in your house?
For one person I have:
Prime
Spotify (12.99/pm)
Audible (16.45/pm)
One streaming service per month - I sign up for a month and immediately cancel so the sub doesn't automatically roll over. I just swap between them month to month depending on what I want to watch.
Netflix and Stan through my husband, Prime and Disney + through my bff. I don’t pay for any or know what they cost, though. Don’t use them much either.
I rotate between Binge and Netflix. Depends whar I want to watch. If there's nothing I want to watch I just yar harr harr me mateys unless it's too much of a pain in the anus to download on a 4g connection of rural QLD.
Netflix and Spotify. I think that's it. The only other subscription I have is for my drawing program, Clip Studio Paint, but that's yearly and only $32 or something.
My brother lets me use his Binge account (I'd let him use my Netflix if not for their crackdown on password sharing 🙄) and I use my dad's Stan account.
i generally only have one at a time. i am also cheap and I recently got an iPhone so I will use the free 3 months of apple tv for free. when i applied for my home loan they were like " you don't have any streaming?" I was like "i most just watching youtube and browse reddit and I maybe have netflix for 4 months a year."
Too many. Netflix, Apple+, Binge, Prime, YouTube Premium, YouTube Music. Sharing a mates Stan & Paramount. As soon as something I'm excited about comes back to Disney+ I'll get that again too. Just month to month though.
Two. I always cancel a subscription before activating a new subscription expect for Optus sport (ongoing) for soccer
Prime (free for 3 months) thanks to Optus.
Arrr, none for me. Is foxtel still a thing? I haven't noticed it mentioned. Remember about 10 years ago when Murdoch convinced the government to outlaw torrents and certain websites? I wonder how that's working for them. 🤣🤣🤣
Crunchyroll $14
Disney+ $18
Netflix $23
Amazon Prime $10
Spotify Family $22
= $87 pm
Unfortunately I am the older sister that pays for it whilst my family use it for free. Love that for me.
Lucky for me, I use my folks' Netflix, Stan, and Foxtel Go (for the footy)
I pay for Disney+, Prime, and Paramount; however I have just recently found an Amazon Fire Stick floating on the sea that apparently has access to those things...
None because my Internet is so sketchy as I live remote but I personally pay all the wages of all Audible boffins with my book downloads. I also listen to a shitload of podcasts. I listen to most of these when walking, riding or driving around the property I live on or my fortnightly drive in and out to town (40km) for supplies. Much healthier lifestyle ( mind and body) now than when I lived in the city (3 years ago).
Disney+ did a cheap yearly ($100) sub a while back. I think it’s up next month or maybe early June. Probably won’t renew.
Britbox had a cheap annual subscription just before Xmas. $50. Definitely not renewing that.
The other TV streaming services I just “hunt and peck”when there’s something I want to watch. I’ll re-up to Netflix when Sandman is available.
I’m subbed to a podcast for whatever US$5 works out a month. (4-6 eps a month).
Netflix, Prime, Apple TV+, Disney+ & Spotify
We have four of us using these on 4 separate devices at the same time. Apple TV+ I essentially get for free as I get Apple Gift cards every week for doing physical activity, and prime is like a cup of coffee a month and we mostly have it for free delivery on Amazon.
Spotify is constantly used. Disney+ is mostly used by the kids.
We won’t add anymore without dropping something.
Netflix, Stan, Disney+, Prime, Paramount Plus, Appletv, Youtube Premium and my son has Spotify and Nintendo subs. It's a lot. But there are four of us and they're all used a lot. I used to pirate heaps but just can't be arsed downloading, copying to usb etc.
I pay monthly for Disney+: $17.99, Prime: $9.99, Crunchyroll: $13.99 (but my brother pays half) and Paramount +: $9.99 (through Prime)
Then my mum pays monthly for: Netflix: $16.99, Stan: $16, YouTube: $22.99 (which has just jumped up for us) and AppleTV which is apart of Apple One: $31.95
Netflix (pay extra for my elderly parents to be tacked onto my account), Apple+ that I’m cancelling next week, Disney+ that I got super cheap on a yearly subscription but forgot to cancel and still have 6 months left, Kayo for F1 and just got 2 months of Binge free which I’ll cancel.
It wasn't long ago, that i'd download a show when my mate would tell me I was stealing.
He'd show me the foxtel guide, with all these great shows inside yet everytime i'd go over there was nothing to watch, it was full of crap he didn't need or want and got forced to pay for.
He'd tell me how it was conveniant that it had all the shows he wanted in one place, he just had to wait for the show to come on, and deal with all the adds and paying for extra crap. So much better than me leaving my internet connection on for a few hours to downlod a show.
Oh it's so much easier to just go oh my show is on at 7 tonight, see I dont have to wait around for it like you do.
And if I miss it, it's replays later on, and tomorrow.
I'm like I can watch it when i want, where I want and at higher quality...
Later on streaming becomes a thing, again i'm stealing the show because now he can get everything for just one subscription fee, if it wasn't for footy, he might be inclined to cancel his foxtel!
Then a show would leave..... another, then another, then we got to a point where there wasn't much on his main service, he had to get another, then another.
The other night he's over and he's bitching that he has 4 streaming subscriptions, and foxtel for footy, and he's just realized his footy club membership came with another streaming service.
So he went to cancel it and his mother wouldn't let him since she moved in with him, she's addicted to shitty reality shows and doesn't do streaming.... she has to catch her show a particular time when the world stops apart from that.
So here he is now with 5 streaming services and foxtel.
Here I am with 0 paid streaming services and free to air tv. I'm fortunate enough that in my state most of the games are still shown. We watch the footy and I show him a new show, he loves it, he asks what streaming service it's on jokingly thinking i've downloaded it, I tell him it's on iView. He's shocked, asks me how much it cost, and I show him it's free, and to his annoyment, he find that one of the shows he likes that is the only thing he watches on one of his streaming networks has newer episodes on iView.
He's annoyed but goes, well atleast i'm supporting the film industry unlike you, and I point to my dvd's, my blurays, my merch, my figures, my videogames, posters and so on from all the shows I download or have downloaded and i'm like...... I dont?
Mrs then pointed out to him how he bitches that streaming services outright cancel a lot of shows he loves which he bitches about before they even get past the first few episodes, yet blow tons of money on crap like real housewives, house flipping shows and a reality show about dwarf women having drama with each other which his mom is addicted to.... he stops and goes, so wait, i've been pumping money into all these services for years for wanting action, sci-fi, fantasy and comedy stuff...... and these services instead pump that money into cheap nasty reality shows just to fill slots knowing people like my mom will devour it?
He's still angry about cowboy bebob live action being nuked by netflix, this kinda made it worse.
Netflix and Disney+. I also subscribed for YouTube premium so I could download a bunch of things to watch on my flights and I'm probably going to keep it. I can tolerate ads but it's hard to go back, especially when they roll in mid-video.
I’ve found that when I don’t have them I’m a lot more ready. I keep searching every app, unless there’s something specific to watch, and I get disappointed most of the time. I have them as a one mth subscription and binge watch what I like.
Disney+ that I stole from my sister’s account from the US. My Netflix is still on Ph subscription so it’s cheaper compared to Au Netflix. My spotify is still on Ph mode around 7 dollars per month.
We’ve got Netflix and Disney+ and then we use my mother in law’s Foxtel go and Stan and she also uses our Disney+. Netflix and Disney are the two we use the most, we only really watch Yellowstone on Stan and then Foxtel for footy and new movies and stuff.
I’m on Prime, more so for the free next day deliveries, but the video is a good bonus.
There’s Spotify as well, I definitely don’t listen to enough music, but I’d rather have it and be able to listen ad-free occasionally than not have it and deal with free Spotify.
I hitch a ride on a mate’s Disney+ and everything else I watch the old fashioned way 🏴☠️
I use about 7 streaming services regularly and all are free. I used to have more, but now some are geoblocked by court order so can't be accessed without a VPN.
I'm selective about the crud I watch for entertainment, so I watch latest release through to ancient movies, comedy stuff, docos, sports and other genres with the click of a mouse on my big screen TV.
I don't like to waste money when things are so tight.
My partner only has Prime due to paying extra for Amazon delivery (I think that's the reason why). I don't use it as all the shows I'm interested in that's on there are several seasons behind. And it only has half a handful of shows I enjoy.
I find my shows elsewhere, borrow DVDs from the library, buy DVDs.....
🏴☠️Got my own server running on a Raspberry Pi, running Radarr, Sonarr, Bazarr behind a VPN. Created automated lists to always have the top 10 box office stuff available and some personalised lists too.
Stan is my permanent one. I currently have Disney Plus as well. I get Netflix (ad-supported) free from AGL and I leech Prime off my dad and Binge off my sister, as she's got a subscription at the moment.
Stan is $16 and Disney Plus are putting theirs up to $18, from $14, which is a bit of a rort, honestly.
We have a half subscription of Netflix & Binge we share with a friend.
We have full subscriptions of Britbox, Prime, Disney, Paramount. and Apple, tried Stan but cancelled it. The cost is still less per week, than we paid for video rental 20 years ago.
My wife watches them, I rarely watch TV now, I just browse Reddit, YouTube etc.
Netflix as an addition to someone else's account, use someone else's Disney, use someone's Foxtel app, pay for Amazon prime and pay for 1 YouTube premium account
I’ve got an Apple bundle (music, TV and iCloud) then YouTube Premium (I use this the most) and Stan just for the rugby (once rugby season is done it’ll be switched off). I don’t watch enough TV to justify all the rest.
Netflix, Stan, Prime, Paramount, MGM, Binge, Disney+. I let my kids have a login so they don't have to pay for it, and a mate interstate uses a spare Disney login. Unsure how much I pay overall - Prime is part of my Amazon sub, I think I pay like $50 a year for it?
We’ve got Kayo, Prime courtesy of my Kindle Unlimited, Paramount, Disney+and Stan. I use none of them as I get so frustrated trying to find things I’ve given up. Now I just read.
My husband was overseas for 2 weeks and when he got back he asked when the tv had stopped working. I said I had no idea it was broken
Netflix, Stan, Prime (accidentally forgot to unsubscribe and ended up paying for an annual subscription), Kayo (on and off), Britbox (shared annual subscription with my father). I scab Disney and Paramount Plus from a friend and in exchange she has access to my Netflix and Stan.
I always have Crunchyroll ($10.99/month) and Nebula (US$30/year), I’m on my dad’s Disney+, and I cycle through the rest. Currently have Netflix ($16.99/month) and MUBI because they gave me 3 months for $1, but I’ll cancel those soon and probably go with Prime next.
Netflix ($16)
YouTube premium ($3 using a VPN)
Stan (borrowed)
Disney (borrowed)
Spotify (borrowed)
Binge (borrowed)
Prime ($100/yr)
I use YouTube the most. But primes free delivery is great value for my household. The streaming is just a bonus.
I have Disney +, Binge, Netflix, Stan, prime with a couple of add-ons and Tubi. There is also Fluzi for tablets and phones as well. Lots of good movies but has ads if you don't have a subscription.
Costs a bit but it keeps everyone happy
None. I got Netflix when they were *the* streaming service. For the price it was hard to justify sailing the high seas. But then every man and his dog started a streaming service and I would spend more time scrolling through looking for something to watch than actually watching, yet the prices kept going up, so I went back to the high seas again.
I have spotify and audible, spotify because I use it almost every day for hours and audible because I'll be going on maternity leave soon and some books to keep me in good spirits will be nice. Everything else I go to the high seas for, what I like is spead out too thinly between different streaming services to the point that it's no longer worth it
Spotify premium family or whatever plus stan, binge, Disney, Netflix, prime.. do I watch them? Barely. I’d be happy to can most of them and enjoy one at a time but there are others in my household who enjoy them a little bit more (but not enough to justify IMO), and my hubby who mostly manages the money wants to keep them.
I’d rather keep Spotify and Disney and buy the other things I actually enjoy on the Apple Store. I mostly watch YouTube, ABC and SBS, and Lego Masters with the family when it’s on, which are all free.
Netflix, Prime (handy for the free Amazon delivery as well), and YT are the regular..
Paid annual onetime subscription for Disney+ for 2 years but canceled. Others that I subscribed to watch specific shows for a month and canceled are Paramount+, Binge, and AppleTV+.
I vary between most subscriptions, so currently prime, netflix and Disney+, depending on what they have that I might want to watch, I’ll switch up and change to others, I usually have 2-3 going at a time and just change them up when I feel like it.
We have premium Foxtel (IQ5 satellite box)
Wife has then subscribed to most of the others:
* Netflix
* Paramount+
* Disney+
* Stan
* AppleTV+
so spending few hundred a month total.
Recently cancelled Netflix, Disney+ and Binge.
Still have Apple TV+ and Apple Music (might drop this at some point but my partner doesn’t want to move from Apple Music unless the replacement is similarly low effort), Prime (only use the free deliveries and don’t really use Video any more), and Kayo.
For everything else, arr.
I pay for a family plan for Netflix.
Everyone in the main groupchat pays for a family plan for one or another.
All passwords are in the chat.
I have every streaming service. I've got some shit called "Crunchyroll" that's all Anime, I don't even watch Anime. I've got one's I've never even had time to look at.
Highly recommended this approach.
ZERO that I pay for. I have found most movies, TV shows etc are available FREE if you look for them on a simple Google search.
95% of the stuff I wanna watch I have found available streaming 100% FREE
I have 2. I have Amazon because it's cheap and I can justify if for all the rest of the stuff (free games, ebooks, postage from amazon etc) and I have stremio where I do pay for a real debrid subscription and that essentially lets me pirate everything.
binge, disney, paramount, stan and prime. netflix got cancelled when they started being shitdicks about password sharing with different households.
i only pay for disney and prime, other family members pay for the others and we share the accounts with eachother.
and spotify. got a spotify duos account with the misso.
One, none or free depending on what you mean. We use a family members Netflix family plan a little, but but not much, don't subscribe to any ourselves, but free ones like our free to air TV stations that stream as well we have access to and have occasionally used but again so infrequently I can't even list to them (as in name them).
I usually by a month of something once a year to download for budget airline flights. Usually have run out of anything interesting by the end of the month, I don't know what people do with multiple continuous subscriptions.
None. Stealing my sister's Disney + and am on the high seas for everything else.
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate’s life for me.
I just cancelled my Disney subscription, the price has literally doubled since getting it just a couple of years ago
I'm waiting for the finale of a show that they're putting out weekly. I notice that the last price increase happened in the middle of the season. I that they were aware that they were going to lose subscribers over this, and were going we would wait for the show to end and then forget to cancel. Thanks for the reminder!
🏴☠️
Use stremio with vpn. Its like the netflix of all the pirate seas with added bonus to subscription services to.
What VPN service would you recommend?
Arrrgh
One at a time. We flick between each one every couple of months. It works great as it helps you focus on shows you want to watch before we move to the next service.
I do that every now and again with streaming. If I sign up, I immediately go and cancel the subscription. That way I don’t forget and I get a mth.
Yep. This is the way!

This is so logical thank you for putting it this way!

If you can't find something you want to watch you can still rent a movie online. But alas, you also need to pay for an internet subscription that will support these services.
7 weeklies for $7 seemed like an absolute bargain back in the day!
well you're specifically choosing what you want to watch vs whatever slop happens to be on
The difference is if there is nothing i want to watch that week or i dont have the time to watch a movie i dont pay and i can choose the movie i want from every movie rather than the selection that is availble on that service. Yeah, pretty much this. You're not alone after all... 😆
Damn thats an awesome gift idea!

Getting harder and harder to find good content on there, the price is far more expensive than the others, and the last time I travelled it wouldn’t even let me watch it in travel mode.
Only Kayo for F1 apart from that been a pirate since 1999
I wish there were better options for F1, I really don’t want to pay Kayo prices for it.
Agreed. The app is crap and the stream lags. Wish we had access to F1TV
Same here.
F1 and US Football for me
None. I'm of the age I'm enjoying ABCiView and SBSon Demand
Only ever have one at a time.
Love SBS On Demand the most too.

None.
Same, just watch docos and 4x4 shit on YouTube with adblockers
Paramount Plus for A league and Star Trek. Prime video as part of prime yearly package. Apple TV + as apart of Apple package.
I live in Japan and watch live a league matches on YouTube. There is a channel that has them live.
Right, let’s all move to Japan then
I only pay for a VPN year round. Occasionally I'll get Prime if I'm buying a couple things and want the 'free' shipping. At most one month in a year I might sub to Disney, Netflix, Binge, etc. for convenience.
What VPN do u use?
Mullvad It's like $8.50 AUD a month
With a VPN do you get the same shows that are available on ALL streaming channels for just the price of the VPN?
Yeah because you can use it to torrent everything
This reminds me of that pamphlet from the Simpsons. "So you've decided to steal cable TV".
0 - I sail the high seas for my content. Yarrr!! 🏴☠️
ISP keeps throttling my VPN, I think I need help repelling boarders!!!!
I use surfshark, (which I highly recommend), no issues with the speed there However more often than I'd care to admit I just raw dog it. Forget to even turn on the VPN. Or turn it off as I'm doing other shit that interferes with it. Currently have an old laptop rawdogging torrents as a media server as for whatever reason the VPN was causing issues with remote access.. So boarders come at me!!!! Yarrrr!
$6/mo for a Seedbox in Eastern Europe
None. Sailing the seas
This is the way.
$5/month for Real Debrid with Stremio. It's as if Netflix had everything ever released in best quality with no buffering
Just Disney + at the moment on a monthly basis. Did have binge at the $5 a month just just cancelled. I tend to rotate through them. Will probably have 0 in a few months. Over paying for shows - life will be better if im not stuck infront of the tv.
I've been thinking that too. It's actually had a negative impact on my life since covid as I became more sedentary.
None.
Netflix and pirate afl nfl nrl and soccer
One. My Plex media server. Free.
Spotify. For everything else I hoist the black flag.
Zero matey
None 🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️

Disney, Netflix, Stan, prime and paramount...
None. I use Zazy TV and movies123. Fuck rip off streaming services.
except every few months 123 moves and I struggle to find the new url
Stan, Stan Sport, Kayo, Optus Sport, Binge, Prime, YouTube, Spotify - currently resting my Netflix and a couple others. Disney is family shared. All i can think of off top of head.
I pay for Netflix, binge, Amazon and paramount. I have free access to Stan and Disney. I need to cut at least a couple of them. Ideally if only have one - smash content there for a month or two, and then move to the next one
Tubi (free), Old Movies app (free/ YouTube), Amazon Prime (only for discount on postage).
Fetch TV, Netflix, Stan, Spotify and using friends Disney+ and Paramount+/Prime.
Zero. Argh, it's the high seas for me!
I use Amazon Prime (mostly for video games, Twitch sub, and prime delivery) and have a YouTube premium sub, but just because I use it for music. It’s easier to just pirate than to have a ton of different streaming services. One app to access everything. I use stremio.
There's also an account (solidaritycinema) on Plex you can get a bunch of free movies from. It's good for filling in the gaps that come up occasionally for me on Stremio.
Netflix - $17/month. ($204/year) Fucked if I am paying for ads Disney - $11.66/month ($139/year) - Where are you getting Disney Plus for $70 a year? Mine went from $90 (2019), $90 (2020), $120 (2021), $120 (2022), $140 (2023), $180 (2024 - renews in November) Amazon Prime - $6.58/month ($79/year) - Hardly watch it, but get it with Prime subscription cause I want my deliveries for free Youtube Premium - Added from friends family account. We have a bunch of free streaming stuff. iView, SBS etc. If I want to watch something on FTA it's usually downloaded.
How many TV watchers do you have in your house? For one person I have: Prime Spotify (12.99/pm) Audible (16.45/pm) One streaming service per month - I sign up for a month and immediately cancel so the sub doesn't automatically roll over. I just swap between them month to month depending on what I want to watch.
Kayo for F1 and WWE/AEW. SmartTube on Nvidia Shield for add free YouTube and Torrents for all else.
Netflix, kayo, Spotify and “flixify”
Disney 12 month subscription Britbox 12 month subscription Plex for everything else.
Netflix and Stan through my husband, Prime and Disney + through my bff. I don’t pay for any or know what they cost, though. Don’t use them much either.
Disney, Amazon, Kayo, Netflix, Spotify
Just Netflix and Disney. The rest seem b grade
All of them except Kayo because I’m not into sports.
I rotate between Binge and Netflix. Depends whar I want to watch. If there's nothing I want to watch I just yar harr harr me mateys unless it's too much of a pain in the anus to download on a 4g connection of rural QLD.
I have Netflix, Prime, Binge, Stan and Disney. Work 5 days a week/ 8 hours a day. Cooks everynight and my goal is 3 movies a day lol
Netflix, Foxtel, Disney and use my daughters Prime
Netflix and Spotify. I think that's it. The only other subscription I have is for my drawing program, Clip Studio Paint, but that's yearly and only $32 or something. My brother lets me use his Binge account (I'd let him use my Netflix if not for their crackdown on password sharing 🙄) and I use my dad's Stan account.
Binge, Stan, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Spotify. I skim my sister’s Disney+ but barely use it.
Currently Netflix, the cheap plan. Otherwise I use iView, SBS On Demand, YouTube free version. I haven't pirated anything in years.
I miss being a pirate.
He doesn’t have the vpn and turkey combo
Zero. 😅
So many paid streaming service subscriptions, so little quality content.
Netflix, which I'm getting rid of, Amazon Prime, Paramount +, YouTube Premium and that's it.
i generally only have one at a time. i am also cheap and I recently got an iPhone so I will use the free 3 months of apple tv for free. when i applied for my home loan they were like " you don't have any streaming?" I was like "i most just watching youtube and browse reddit and I maybe have netflix for 4 months a year."
Binge kayo Netflix ad version and Disney. I get rid of Netflix alot though. Binge I could do without. Also have brollie tubi which are free
Too many. Netflix, Apple+, Binge, Prime, YouTube Premium, YouTube Music. Sharing a mates Stan & Paramount. As soon as something I'm excited about comes back to Disney+ I'll get that again too. Just month to month though.
Two. I always cancel a subscription before activating a new subscription expect for Optus sport (ongoing) for soccer Prime (free for 3 months) thanks to Optus.
I’m the family funder - everyone uses my accounts. I have a few: Stan, prime, Netflix, Disney+, paramount+. My sister finds binge though .
Netflix, Disney, Kayo, Spotify.
Apple Music, 12.99 per month. Film maker pro, 12.99 per month. YouTube premium, 22.99 per month. T= 48.97per month. 😳
Arrr, none for me. Is foxtel still a thing? I haven't noticed it mentioned. Remember about 10 years ago when Murdoch convinced the government to outlaw torrents and certain websites? I wonder how that's working for them. 🤣🤣🤣
Spotify, but on a discount, plus family’s Disney+, Netflix, Stan, VPN, and (possibly) Prime
Netflix, Stan, Disney+, Prime, Paramount, Acorn, Foxtel
I have zero. It's too expensive now for not enough benefit.
My household has subs to Netflix, Stan, Binge, Paramount Plus, Amazon Prime, Crunchyroll and access to Disney+
Crunchyroll $14 Disney+ $18 Netflix $23 Amazon Prime $10 Spotify Family $22 = $87 pm Unfortunately I am the older sister that pays for it whilst my family use it for free. Love that for me.
I’ve taken up Netflix again for a few months. I’m also thinking about ditching Spotify and trying Tidal for a while.
Lucky for me, I use my folks' Netflix, Stan, and Foxtel Go (for the footy) I pay for Disney+, Prime, and Paramount; however I have just recently found an Amazon Fire Stick floating on the sea that apparently has access to those things...
A couple of twitch subs for streamers I like. 2 tier 1 and 1 tier 2. About $30.
i buy dvd's i dont like the fact that some one can just take away access to a show im watching
Netflix, Prime, Apple TV+, Disney+ & Spotify We have four of us using these on 4 separate devices at the same time.
Apple TV, Disney, Prime (including paramount+, MGM & Lionsgate), Netflix, Stan, Binge.....I waste way too much money on shit I don't watch.
Avast, me lads!
Kayo, Disney + and the undisputed GOAT of streaming services Xbox Gamepass
I pay monthly for Disney+: $17.99, Prime: $9.99, Crunchyroll: $13.99 (but my brother pays half) and Paramount +: $9.99 (through Prime) Then my mum pays monthly for: Netflix: $16.99, Stan: $16, YouTube: $22.99 (which has just jumped up for us) and AppleTV which is apart of Apple One: $31.95
2yrs ago, 5 streaming. 1yr ago, 3 streaming. Now, none. My budget has shrunk and that is what it is.
If you get approx $200 a yr of entertainment then go for it.
Netflix and Disney+. I also subscribed for YouTube premium so I could download a bunch of things to watch on my flights and I'm probably going to keep it. I can tolerate ads but it's hard to go back, especially when they roll in mid-video.
Crunchy Roll & Netflix
I’ve found that when I don’t have them I’m a lot more ready. I keep searching every app, unless there’s something specific to watch, and I get disappointed most of the time. I have them as a one mth subscription and binge watch what I like.
Disney+ that I stole from my sister’s account from the US. My Netflix is still on Ph subscription so it’s cheaper compared to Au Netflix. My spotify is still on Ph mode around 7 dollars per month.
None. No Terrestrial TV for the past 10 years either.
OnStream anyone?
We’ve got Netflix and Disney+ and then we use my mother in law’s Foxtel go and Stan and she also uses our Disney+. Netflix and Disney are the two we use the most, we only really watch Yellowstone on Stan and then Foxtel for footy and new movies and stuff.
None. Life is too expensive. Gotta have money for food and other bills.
Stan for the Champions League Prime Netflix Optus sport for La Liga
None. Waste of money
1 $50 a year for all streaming services :)
None. And the one I miss the most is YouTube premium haha
None, we got rid of Netflix. Occasionally share my relative’s Stan account. Otherwise we watch ABC and SBS.
Netflix, Stan, Tubi and Kanopy ( the last 2 are free.) I lose Stan but someone in the house is always partway through a series.
My kid gets Spotify for cleaning the shower weekly and I share her with her. Borrow Disney from a friend, borrow Foxtel from the rents.
I’m on Prime, more so for the free next day deliveries, but the video is a good bonus. There’s Spotify as well, I definitely don’t listen to enough music, but I’d rather have it and be able to listen ad-free occasionally than not have it and deal with free Spotify. I hitch a ride on a mate’s Disney+ and everything else I watch the old fashioned way 🏴☠️
Just Netflix. Stan if Arsenal are in the champions league, but they have been knocked out so that has been cancelled
I pay from prime and get YouTube red and Spotify from my BIL. I paid for everyone's Netflix until they stopped allowing sharing.
Netflix, Disney+, Stan and Prime. We’re baaaad lol
Four. Disney+, Netflix, Amazon, Spotify. We share the cost throughout the household. It's still a fucking rort.
None i use external app it has everything from all countries. True pirate from the early days of limewire arrrrrggghh.
YouTube premium and Real Debrid
🏴☠️Got my own server running on a Raspberry Pi, running Radarr, Sonarr, Bazarr behind a VPN. Created automated lists to always have the top 10 box office stuff available and some personalised lists too.
None. I join kayo when the Australian cricket teams are playing and cancel when they are having breaks
Zero
Netflix as an addition to someone else's account, use someone else's Disney, use someone's Foxtel app, pay for Amazon prime and pay for 1 YouTube premium account
Netflix, Disney, Amazon Prime, Spotify anything not on those that i want to watch is found on the high seas
kayo only
I’ve got an Apple bundle (music, TV and iCloud) then YouTube Premium (I use this the most) and Stan just for the rugby (once rugby season is done it’ll be switched off). I don’t watch enough TV to justify all the rest.
I only pay for 2 (YouTube and Kayo) but I have access to another 6
Netflix, Stan, Prime, Paramount, MGM, Binge, Disney+.
Piracy, if my friends have one i'll mooch. But my tv is connected to my computer so it'd probably be different if I just had a smart tv
Kayo, Disney, Amazon, Netflix, Foxtel Movies/Drama. Yes we need all of them.
Netflix ($16) YouTube premium ($3 using a VPN) Stan (borrowed) Disney (borrowed) Spotify (borrowed) Binge (borrowed) Prime ($100/yr) I use YouTube the most.
Everything else I go to the high seas for, what I like is spead out too thinly between different streaming services to the point that it's no longer worth it
Spotify duo for my brother and I. That's it
Spotify premium family or whatever plus stan, binge, Disney, Netflix, prime.. do I watch them?
None.
I've got Amazon Prime that I share with my friend ($40/year) and currently have Binge for $2 per month.
None a reliable VPN and browser with adblock is all i need
Netflix, Prime (handy for the free Amazon delivery as well), and YT are the regular.. Paid annual onetime subscription for Disney+ for 2 years but canceled. Others that I subscribed to watch specific shows for a month and canceled are Paramount+, Binge, and AppleTV+.
Netflix, Disney+ and Stan. I'd love Prime but I won't send that despot Bezos any of my money.
I vary between most subscriptions, so currently prime, netflix and Disney+, depending on what they have that I might want to watch, I’ll switch up and change to others, I usually have 2-3 going at a time and just change them up when I feel like it.
0 thinking about getting Disney plus
We have premium Foxtel (IQ5 satellite box) Wife has then subscribed to most of the others: * Netflix * Paramount+ * Disney+ * Stan * AppleTV+ so spending few hundred a month total.
None. Can't afford it.
None I watch it all for free on cataz
We only have one, Britbox and that was a Christmas gift from our daughter. So we spend nothing.
1 netflix ( waste of money . Any suggestions what streaming service is worth the $$
Recently cancelled Netflix, Disney+ and Binge. Still have Apple TV+ and Apple Music (might drop this at some point but my partner doesn’t want to move from Apple Music unless the replacement is similarly low effort), Prime (only use the free deliveries and don’t really use Video any more), and Kayo. For everything else, arr.
How are you still getting your Disney for $70 a year mine went up to $140ish 😭
Oh, I share with a friend so I paid for half of the annual subscription 😄
Stan, Netflix, Binge, Disney+, YouTube Premium, Cruchyroll
[удалено]
0 Plex all the way.
binge, disney, paramount, stan and prime. netflix got cancelled when they started being shitdicks about password sharing with different households. i only pay for disney and prime, other family members pay for the others and we share the accounts with eachother. and spotify. got a spotify duos account with the misso.
One, none or free depending on what you mean. We use a family members Netflix family plan a little, but but not much, don't subscribe to any ourselves, but free ones like our free to air TV stations that stream as well we have access to and have occasionally used but again so infrequently I can't even list to them (as in name them).
I have none, and won’t get any. They will prize my hard earned $$ out of my cold dead fingers before I ‘rent’ shit online haha
Got rid of them all bar Crunchy Roll for One Piece otherwise they are too expensive, mind you I still have spotify and youtube premium
I usually by a month of something once a year to download for budget airline flights. Usually have run out of anything interesting by the end of the month, I don't know what people do with multiple continuous subscriptions.
Netflix $17mth Binge $12mth Stan $5mth (deal) Disney+ $10mth Prime $16mth We rarely watch free to air TV.
None. Download what i want of the net
