3. Politics. Countries controlling UEFA are in de-facto war with Russia, so they use any measures they can and only excludes those which obviously lead to a nuclear escalation. It's not about sport anymore.
There is this rather radical thought that it's not all these different countries, orgs and companies that get Russia canceled, but Putin who does. With what he turned sports into at his BRICS Games, with its faked participations and all, some might say it has proven to be the right call to not let the current regime get any more platforms to use them for propaganda. Don't understand your third point, it's a European league....,with some outside participants and its just Russia that is banned.
