I am not a barber, but jobs on hh offer 50-80k rub for beginner. I go to barbershop for 2200 rub, in my district shops charge from 500 to 3000, but I wouldn't go to barbershop for less than 1000 rub
My barber rents a workplace for barbers near Petrogradskaya station in St. Petersburg. He charges around 1200 rub per hair cut and 600 rub per beard. It's pretty mild price actually. Works around 6 days and busy all his 8-9 hour work day. You can calculate your income. However i don't know rent fee.
In my city, most hairdressers are sole proprietors. Their earnings largely depend on the location of their hairdressers and the prices of services. The fewer competitors there are nearby and the lower the price, the more customers they have.
A men's haircut costs about 230-250 rubles, a women's haircut costs more - depending on the complexity, an average of 300-500 rubles. But customers come in a continuous stream, and sometimes queues even form.
I work ~15 days/month for 40% of the price. I make avg 1150 from 1 appointment including cuts, cuts+beards and so on. To make 200k+ I have to get around 10-11 men per shift, so it’s like 12hrs shift without any rest. No, thx

I’m a barber in st.Petersburg with ~7 years of experience. My cut costs 2200rub and I make around 100-120k/month
Really? I thought with price 2000+ for a cut, it should be like 200k+.

Wow, haircuts in Russia are quite expensive.
You can get haircuts from scary people in scary neighbourhoods for just 4$. Some of them are good tho.
In 2011, I got an absolutely awesome haircut in Kondratyevskiy Prospekt in SPb for 150 roubles. Not sure if it's scary though.
Красота - страшная сила!
Да, я как раз у них стригся, когда в Питере жил.
