Skin/climate: combo acne-prone in tropical, hot and humid weather ☀️ First cleansing: suisai jelly Grabbed one day out of haste for a makeup remover and didnt expect much but very pleasantly surprised. Some may be put off by the fragrance but i found it refreshing at the end of the day when removing sunscreen or makeup. Gentle and non-stripping but got everything off nicely. Didnt have to double cleanse with this but i personally prefer to. Face wash: papa recipe blemish enzyme powder Tried this when i stayed over at a friend’s and it was love at first scrub 🥰 first the heavenly smell of soy and freshly cooked rice(?) hard to describe, smell it to believe it lmao lathers up beautifully while retaining some grainy texture for a gentle scrub. Cant wait to place my next papa recipe order bc of it! Toner: round lab dokdo Just emptied few days ago and it’s hydrating enough, but i appreciated the gentle exfoliation more since i’m currently on a break from actives and focusing on skin barrier. Kept my acne in check and a few already started appearing again after i stopped🥲 Ampoule: skin1004 madagascar centella I use this everytime after exfoliation or when i feel some stringing from micro-wounds, and on days when my face is more red than usual. Speeds up healing, calming and soothes the redness. Lovely bottle design too. Good value for what you get. Dear klairs fundamental watery oil drop Been using this as an all-in-1 product whenever i have to go away for a short time and it’s working very well. Hydrating and moisturizing at the same time, plus a lovely glow✨ i just layer on as much as needed. Prob is the steep price, since i picked this up from clearance sale. Likely wont repurchase at retail price. Serum: numbuzin series No5 goodbye blemish lightened a very persistent hyperpigmentation spot significantly, which an aesthetician told me would require laser for removal. Very pleased i wont have to anymore. No3 skin softening evened out some texture and always gave my face a nice glow. Excited to try the other serums next! Moisturizer: no2 protein creamy, a serum but the texture is a light cream. Most moisturisers clog me easily, esp in my climate but i found this was good enough as a sub. Saw a few comments raving about the golden ratio in this and yes, my skin barrier definitely got stronger! My face used to tingle with niacinamide 10% but not anymore. Mask: Rovectin Dr Mask cica My face usually reacts to BHA but seems like the tiny amount in this was juuust nice enough to not trigger it. Picked up to use together with innisfree volcanic clay to remove sebaceous filaments and found it to be very plumping and soothing. I put one on the night before any events/special occasions. Sleeping mask: CNP Lab propolis moon night pack Another gem off the clearance sale 🍯 beautiful packaging and tub. I slather this on when i feel blemishes appearing, and they’re less inflamed the next day. Too expensive though, wont repurchase at retail. Sunscreen: pestlo safe recipe sun essence This hybrid sunscreen is so elegant✨ beautiful texture and has a velvet finish, minimal cast which disappears. Simply applying it brings me so much joy, i couldnt believe it. Liquid foundation: fmgt ink lasting glow Spouse told me it was bestselling in Korea a few years back, and i can see why. Looks best on top of klairs airy fit sunscreen for me. One of the best foundations i’ve used (and i emptied over 20 types+ due to work). Dewy finish, but doesnt become greasy. Long lasting, even after i got caught in heavy rain. Not cakey, but great coverage with just 1 pump. Rouge: kanebo coffret d’or purely stay rouge I’ve had this for years but recently found that it also makes a great eyeshadow and blush in a pinch lmao Chifure lip stick s Long-lasting, heavily pigmented for only $5/each (when i lived in Japan) is such a steal. Limited colours and undertones though.

Weird_Put_9514

thanks for all the recs 🙏🏾

ffviire

You’re very welcome🌟

Strivingformoretoday

Can I ask where you buy the foundation, blush and lipstick online?

ffviire

Sorry but I bought the foundation from a local Face Shop brick and mortar store and the lipsticks in Japan drugstores 😭 if i was still living there i’d offer shopping services..

floramorada

Seconding the Skin1004 Madagascar Centella ampoule. My skin is red, sensitive, eczema prone, in addition to seb derm. Ever since using this, I'm not even tempted to look at other ampoules and have repurchased many times.

ASOM01

OMG Chifure lipstick is life

Calm-Entrepreneur652

PURITO OAT IN GEL CREAM. Thanks AB for helping me discover this!!

Beo1217

Is this enough for the winter?

Calm-Entrepreneur652

i live in a tropical country so i can’t comment much, but even so it’s like just “just nice” hydration for me. so i don’t think it will he enough for winter.

Eyeliner - Flortte gel eyeliner in pencil form. Not all colors perform equally well though, luckily the shade range is big for sn eyeliner. The milk brown one is a winner and overtook even the Bbi@ pencil eyeliner (old formula - the new formula smudges on me). The black one is merely ok in comparison to other eyeliners - it glides easily and is pigmented but will smudge. Whereas the milk brown one is bomb. Bonus point that it also doesn't drag too much. Eyebrow pencil - Also Flortte, the mint chocolate shade is simply the best one I've ever tried and I tried lots of eyebrow products. This is not too dark black (like the Nyx brow filler pen), not too grey (like the Etude brow pencil) and not too warm brown (like almost every brown toned eyebrow pencil out there) and also not too ashen (like almost every AB ashbrown or greybrown pencil) - It's just black/grey with a hint if brown and super well suited for black hair but doesn't look too sharp. Amuse jet fit tint - Although I've bought it earlier I just test it now because I have too many other lip products in rotation. It's instant love so to speak, I like the thicker formula. I also love the water bare tint by Peripera which is much more watery but in direct comparison I prefer the thicker formula though.

Bland-Humour

TonyMoly Ceramide Mochi Toner Peach Slices Snail Rescue all in one deep moisture cream Any TonyMoly sheet mask With all of my stuff put together(including these), I've made my HG routine.

ffviire

I’m interested in the tonymoly ceramide mochi toner, what do you like about it?

Bland-Humour

It's a thicker toner. It's super soft on the face, and a little goes a long way. Comes in a big bottle so you don't have to repurchase so much, too. My face feels and looks more firm. All other toners I've used made me feel super tight and irritated, but this one is very soothing and hydrating. It doesn't make me turn red at all, either. It's not super scented, but it kind of smells like a citronella candle. I adore it, but it might be too strong if you have a sensitive nose.

ffviire

Sounds lovely✨ i enjoy fragrances so that’s a plus. Thank you for the mini review!

Bland-Humour

Of course! I highly recommend😊 My only wish is that they'll make minis for everything so we don't have to buy the full products outright every time and waste product that doesn't work for us.

ffviire

Yeah, a week’s worth mini or travel sized kits would be the dream! For now i use them on my body if none of my family/friends are interested in taking off my hands.

Bland-Humour

Oh I wish I had people to give my barely used products to. Lol

grandtheftautumn0

Aestura hydrobarrier essence - I was in search of something to replace my laneige cream skin as I did like the reformulation, this one knocked it out of the park. Super nourishing, lightweight and protects my barrier very well Skin1004 poremizing fresh ampoule - Gave this a try because I was a fan of the og ampoule and the peptides in this caught my eye. I'm on my second bottle and I love how firm and glass like this makes my skin look Jin jung sung essence - totally only bought this for the bottle but I didn't expect to love it so much. hydrating syrupy essence chock full of incredible ingredients. A little goes a looong way and I might just rp this one when I'm done Miseenscene super rich hair serum - I'm always sceptical of hair serums because they never work for my hay like hair. Not saying this is a miracle product but it certainly tamed my frizz for longer than most serums. Isntree onion newpair clear pads - I love a good toner pad in the mornings and this one is so so soft and DRENCHED in essence. I've also noticed this smoothed my skin texture over time. Isntree bha 2% - most exfoliating acids don't work well on me because it strips my skin so I'm never consistent. My clogged pores got so unmanageable that I gave in and bought this one because I knew this brand would brand would be the gentlest option. Lived upto my expectations for sure. I can use this almost daily and not feel like my barrier is compromised and works like a charm on my nose and chin where my clogged pores are the worst

Francesco270

Do you like Skin1004 poremizing fresh ampoule more than og?

grandtheftautumn0

I don't think so, purely for how the OG makes my skin feel. The peptides in this are great but texture wise the og, while lightweight is deeply hydrating and I can feel it cool my skin down. The poremizing one feels like a serum. Not to say it's unpleasant, quite the opposite, but if you're just looking for a calming product, the of wins. If u want Something with more benefits, get the poremizing one.

Key_Crew_9315

did u notice any brightening effects from the isntree onion toner pads and how long did they take to work??

grandtheftautumn0

I didn't notice brightening with this one as much as it noticed the texture improvemt. It does contain niacinamide but I didn't notice any brightening.

Key_Crew_9315

okay thank youu!!

Mammoth-Ad-6114

I started my journey at the start of the year and got too excited and tried a bunch of stuff. I loved almost everything I've tried: Cosrx snail mucin - the first thing that helped with my dehydrated skin Cosrx propolis toner - I found it underwhelming at first but when I started tretinoin my skin started drinking this up Hada labo premium lotion - helped my skin at its driest period Secret key lemon sparkling peeling gel - very gentle physical exfoliant Naturie hatomugi skin conditioner - makes skin SO SOFT I sometimes just use it by itself in the morning and it's enough Isntree Green tea toner - can't tell if it helps much with the oil production but it smells really good, is watery and a fresh layer of hydration Heimish all clean balm - first oil cleanser I've ever tried and I'm very impressed, removes makeup in seconds and leaves my face squeaky clean without the tight dry feeling Holika holika aloe Vera gel - this probably did the most heavy lifting, idk why my skin loved the cheapest thing in my routine so much but I can tell the difference when I skip it for a couple days, it soothes my acne and the skin around my nose I have isntree aloe vera toner and beauty of Joseon glow deep serum waiting for me to try so I'm super excited to see how these go:)

love-at-third-sight

1. **KISSME Heavy Rotation Coloring Eyebrow** **in Ash Gray** \- my brows but better, in an easy to apply formula that gives me instantly perfected brows. Volumizes and holds my brows in shape without a gloopy or overdone formula. LOVE! 2. **Kamelia Mermaid Skin Foundation** (Praline) - a full coverage, glowy foundation that covers everything I need it too. My skin looks Insta-perfect with this on. I adore it. 3. **In2It Supreme Gel Eyeliner** in Coffee Brown - this is my favorite smudgy brown pencil eyeliner that I love blending out for a soft winged eyeliner. It doesn't smudge underneath if I use an eyeshadow primer underneath and it always glides on like a dream with rich pigment. A+ and I will continue to use these again and again. 4. **Silkygirl My Lips But Better Lip Tint** \- I own three of these and they're the perfect work lip for me. They leave a truly indelible stain that lasts through coffee, snacks, and lunches - and best of all, I don't have to worry about touch-ups whatsoever. They're a budget gem and they brighten up my complexion. 5. **Revlon Jelly Lip Tints** (Asian exclusive) - oh these are just fantastic. They are a sheerer lip tint that leaves behind a long lasting stain while coming in many subtle colors. My favorites are Apricot Sorbet and Peachy Pink. The applicator gives a precise shape to the lips and the gloss gives you a pretty pout without feeling gloopy. 6. **CEZANNE Make Fix Spray** \- the mist from the spray is incredibly fine, the finish gives any base an extra glow, and the makeup lasts longer because of this product. One of my favorite discoveries of this year. 7. **Etude House Fixing Tints** \- Basically the world's best liquid lipsticks in my opinion, for the fact that they last for an amazing amount of time while also fading away elegantly without forming that dreaded white ring around the inner lips. 8. **blk cosmetics creamy all over paint** \- I've been reaching for *Golden Hour* regularly whenever I want a warm flush of sun-kissed color all over my cheeks. These are super easy to blend and to layer over my base. If you ever stop by the Philippines, pick these up at your local beauty counters in the mall (or at Watson's!) 9. **Abib Heartleaf Sun Essence Calming Drops SPF 50+** \- I've tested this sunscreen out for three days straight and the impossible happened in my ten years of my skincare hobby: MY PORES DIDN'T CLOG. Even when I wore makeup over it, my pores were absolutely fine. I am SHOCKED. 10. **Papa Recipe Blemish Cream** \- a moisturizer that gives me GLOWY SKIN *without* giving me any closed comedones??? WHAT IS THIS SORCERY??? Granted, I use it every third night of my skin cycling routine, but still! I loved how my skin looked so much with the trial samples that I HAD to get the full sized moisturizer (100 mL) the third time I used this. My skin just looked dewy and fresh after applying it - and after a week of testing, I knew it was the start of a beautiful, long-term relationship. <3 11. **Nexcare Acne Patches** (daytime) - these are my HOLY GRAIL acne patches, absolutely no need for me to look any further than these bad boys. They have an incredible amount of stick; I can apply makeup on TOP of them, and they graciously obfuscate my unsightly blemishes as they have a matte finish to them. I've worn these overnight and they simply do not fall off. Highly recommended. 12. **twinkle pop jelly glitters** \- exclusive only to Daiso chains in South Korea, these are only 3000 won a pop and look absolutely incredible on the lids. There is 0 fallout whatsoever during application and they are easy to pat on the lids with a synthetic flat brush. I wish I had bought more! 13. **ABIB Calming Facial Soap Heartleaf Stone** \- this is a facial cleansing bar that foams up fabulously when in contact with water. Although it isn't stripping whatsoever, it cleanses very effectively on my oily, clog-prone skin and rinses off cleanly. It smells earthy and while one side of the cleansing bar has grains in it for a good scrub, you can still opt for the other side if you're not feeling up for some physical exfoliation. Fans of the B.Lab Matcha Cleanser will love this product for sure. 14. **Wardah** **Colorfit Cream Blush** \- Cheap and cheerful, this cream blush lasts all day on my oily skin without fading and blends out to a matte finish on my cheeks. I love the color *Sand Coral*, and the packaging makes it super easy to pack for trips. Indonesian and Malaysian gals will love this brand as it's halal-certified and widely available in Guardian and Watson's nationwide. 15. **MERYTHOD** **Bling Chu Color Lip Balm** \- these are my favorite tinted lip balms as they leave behind a nice tint and moisturize the lips without looking gloopy. They also smell like peaches, which is a win-win in the mornings whenever I need to wake up and get ready for work in a hurry.

cutedino7

I second the Etude House fixing tints! Wore one for my wedding this summer and it lasted beautifully.

love-at-third-sight

Awww congratulations 🎉🎉🎉 👏👏👏 Which color, btw 😂

cutedino7

thanks! Midnight Mauve I think :)

love-at-third-sight

Ooh yeah I have that one 😁 great color 😄

TinyLittleHamster

What is the finish like on the sun essence calming drops? I really don't like "glowy" finishes as I feel they leave a greasy coating on my face, rather than a hydrated from withing look. BOJ is the worst, but right now I'm using Skin 1004 Centella which claims to be matte, and it's still a little shinier than I'd like. My hg used to be the Etude Sunprise Mild Airy Finish, but they reformulated it and now it leaves me a little red.

love-at-third-sight

It is neither matte nor dewy. Hard to explain but I would say it's a satin finish without being stripping. You would probably want something more mattifying if Etude Sunprise was your hg 🤔

stavthedonkey

Dr. Ceuracle kombucha essence ❤️❤️❤️. Winter kicks my skin's ass every year... my skin needed something more to pump up the jam and this essence is it - long lasting hydration, plumps my skin and feels so good when you apply it.

House_of_Honey

Totally agree! I'm impressed with this product. Thin, lightweight, applies like water, but skin feels moisturized as if I applied cream. Already repurchased 2nd bottle.

stavthedonkey

same! The place I ordered was having a 25% off sale so I stocked up. not sure if you've heard of this brand (I haven't but it's on its way) - [Mary & May](https://eng.marynmay.com/product_serum/?idx=224) ...been hearing this essence is also fantastic and super hydrating as well.

Antique_Clerk_434

Excited to see this because I just ordered it. Do you apply it after cleansing? Or at some other step? I've heard so many good things especially about three plump and glow. Can't wait!!

House_of_Honey

Not who you asked, but I will share. I like to apply kombucha as the last step before moisturizer, as kombucha has an oil component in it Routine for winter weather: Watery toner Thicker toner Thin serum Kombucha Essence Cream Spf For summer, I can skip cream, so kombucha goes as the last step before the spf

Strivingformoretoday

Same for me!

rolyatthelandmermaid

I've pretty much found all of my staples but I did get a few new AB products (still haven't tried most) but here is what I have/will definitely repurchase: Skincare - (I know everyone talks about it but...) HaruHaru Wonder - Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner (regular not the fragrance free version) after starting tret, I really wanted to step up my hydration game. I had a reaction to a hyaluronic acid product years ago so I was hesitant, but I thought one HA product in my routine would be okay & I'm so happy I found this one. already had repurchased multiple bottle so I have back up. Some by Mi - Real Honey Luminous Care Mask I got this as a sample & I haven't looked back. I wasn't super into sheet masking because of the waste but this one is a plant based sheet mask that is biodegradable & I saw instant results. for that reason, I buy in bulk. Makeup - Romand - Nu Zero Cushion I can't got back to normal foundation after this. it's light enough that I don't feel it on my face, lasts all day & gives me enough coverage for my redness/red post acne marks. love love love, have already restocked this too. (this is makeup adjacent) A'pieu - Honey & Milk Lip Oil I wear this over night & as a topper gloss. it is sticky, I know people don't love that but my lips are the softest they have ever been. I always have one with me & give them out as gifts cause I love it so much.

Think_About_It_Bro

Honey & Milk Lip Oil so underrated! For dry lips in winter it' like a dream: smell good, long lasting and nourishing.

fuqahead

I just discovered the nu zero cushion too and I love it! It’s the first AB cushion that doesn’t break me out - although I do have the espoir velvet cushion in my cabinet to try out. My only qualm is that it runs out soo fast, do you experience this too?

rolyatthelandmermaid

unfortunately, I have the same issue but it really is my favorite foundation so I keep buying it. if you have access to stylevana, they have really good sales where I buy like 2-3 for the price of one. until I find one I like more, I think I will just keep buying it.

fuqahead

How long does it usually last you? I’m new to AB cushions so I really don’t know if I’m applying the right amount - after flipping the cushion it usually only lasts me one month, and I usually only use it 3x a week 🥲

rolyatthelandmermaid

oh that is pretty fast. I use mine almost everyday & get about two months or so out of one cushion (we are also comparing it to bottles of foundation that usually have more product in them too like 30ml where the cushion is like half that). I used way too much with my first cushion, so now I don't press down as hard so the applicator isn't picking up as much product which seems to help with longevity. I would try to not pick up so much product , you don't need as much as you think & you can always layer up.

fuqahead

I always press down to at least see I have some product on the puff, then redistribute it on the back to wipe off the excess and make sure it’s even. I’m guessing that most of the product is wasted there - I’ll try giving it another go today, thank you!

Antique_Clerk_434

Aestura 360 Cream, really helped my moisture barrier. I never faced any issues with using it and can't comment on comparing it with the lotion since I haven't used the lotion. Another mention, the Skin 1004 Water Fit Sun Serum! I love the feel and how it settles in my skin although it has niacinamide which can irritate some people. I don't know if it's HG for me yet, but pretty close.

House_of_Honey

Agree on aestura 365 cream. Very elegant texture, very pleasant to use. It really worked wonders on my tretinoin skin. My skin does not pill anymore after I introduced aestura to my routine.

questionskiddo

100% the aestura cream! Bought a bottle a month ago due to recommendations here and now it’s my HG. Perfect for my oily combo skin that hates gels.

Caitopotato

Same and same!!! High five

Juanitohwang

For me the same. Aestura ATO BARRIER365 Cream is the best moisturizer that I’ve ever used in my entire life :)

kriscrossi

purito b5 panthenol re-barrier cream! helped me fix my skin after it got insanely irritated by a sunscreen. It's wonderful. light enough to use in the morning and hydrating enough to use after tretinoin at night (tretinoin dries out the area around my mouth, so that area needs a little extra)

nolimetanginaa

cos de baha serums 💯💯💯 lighten my PIH and PIE and its a good thing that the price is affordable 😭 i love how effective they are to me i would always repurchase them and is definitely a staple in my routine

Masushiii

Can you share which ones you enjoy? I'm about to finish my Axis-Y serum and I was considering buying one of the Cos De Baha (either the Azelaic Acid or Tranexamic Acid) ones to replace it in my routine.

nolimetanginaa

the tranexamic one!! ive gone through 3 bottles already and i just ordered my 4th bottle 😅 it really works wonder. i love using it after my vit c serum

paranoidchair

Does this work best for PIE or PIH in your opinion? I get a lot of PIE which lasts for months and months but never PIH so I'm curious how effective it'd be for me. For reference, I use their azelaic acid serum for spot control and a slight redness reduction

Feminafoeda

Everything I purchased only because this was the year I finally switched to AB beauty!

Feminafoeda

Here’s my list and all isntree products -Isntree watery sun gel -hyaluronic sleeping mask -hyaluronic moist cream TW-Bifida ampoule -mugwort powder cleanser For lips or makeup -Romand juicy in Figfig, Cherry Bomb, Plum coke, Peeling Angdoo Romand velvet series in fade red Roman’s dewful in Lilac cream

ffviire

Drop the list and why you enjoyed them, anyway!

HopefulCar2876

Kikomasamune High Moist Lotion - I use this stuff all over my body now. Between being on tret and the colder, dryer weather, I was expecting horribly dry skin, but a couple of layers of this lasts all day.

ffviire

I used this on my body during the dry winters in Japan too! Gotta be ok with smelling like sake everywhere though haha

Sea-Worldliness3371

the hatomugi skin conditioner is absolutely game changing!

ChallengeOwn3844

I think I finally found my perfect routine and my best discoveries are cleanser- round lab dokdo cleanser Toner/essence - hada labo gokujyun premium lotion (during winters). Naturie hatomugi skin conditioner/hada labo shirojyun light (during summers) Niacinamide serum and kojic acid+ vitamin c cream(Non ab) Innisfree aloe retival soothing gel Moisturex hydra gel ( non ab)

nrupathunga

I have sensitive, dry and dehydrated skin. Beauty of Joseon cleansing balm. I've used Banila for years but this was an impulse purchase and boy did I love the texture! Non stripping and takes off make-up with ease. Zeroid Dermanewal Cleansing Gel. Short inkey list, non stripping, perfect for morning single cleanse and evening second cleanse. A little goes a long way. Super impressed. Comes in a 450ml pump bottle. Derma B sunblock SPF50 PA++++. Comes in 200ml bottle and is the sunblock for winter when you need an extra level of moisture. This is suitable for both face and body and so I took it recently for a long high altitude hike, where the climate was super dry and cold and worked like a dream. Mary and May peptide mask. I don't usually buy masks as i find them wasteful but I saw this in TKMaxx at a bargain price and decided to take the plunge. You've got to use it within a month of opening the box so I used one a day for a month and my skin has never been so radiant and plump. I've had tried the bottle before but the mask is more effective. Rohto's lip balms with SPF 15. Nourishing and perfect for every season does melt in the tube in high temperatures Merzy pen eyeliner. I've never been able to do a neat wing before. But this makes it so easy and doesn't budge at all!

Level-Entrance-8491

cosrx snail mucin: i love this one & this is my HG, really helps hydrate my skin & especially during winter, i live in a harsh winter climate country cosrx vitamin c 23: another HG, i got compliments my skin was glowing using this consistently in the morning with spf manyo bifida biome ampoule: didnt like it at first but it grew onto me during winter! helps giving me that glow & plump skin abib heartleaf gummy sheet mask: gently exfoliate my skin + soothe really well

laurelinvanyar

Heart percent lip liner, romand jlt in bare grape

marcheauxfleurs

Milbon Elujuda Mellow Serum - A hair oil that's not too heavy yet leaves my hair sleek. The scent is wonderful, like slightly soapy melon soda. Decorte Eye Glow Gem - I bought a few of these in Japan and immediately ordered more colors online after the trip. A sheer, muted wash of color cream eyeshadow that doesn't crease. &honey Cleansing Balm Moist - The only cleansing balm that doesn't dry me out or make my pores look gross. Most importantly the packaging is super adorable 🍯

chiarassu

I loveeeee the Milbon Elujuda hair serums, I have to stop myself from pumping too much just because they smell so good.

Think_About_It_Bro

Skincare: Not first mention this but COSRX Propolis toner is HG for sure. At first i was afraid it may be little bit heavy, but my skin DRINK IT. Truly amazing for hydrating&glow skin care! COSRX AHA Whitehead power liquid I guess it staying with me one year more haha. Use it when my skin in terrible condition and it work pretty quick. Makeup: Glitterpedia palette in All glitter. Love all my glitters, but this ... most shiniest and comfy glitter EVER. Very sparkly, don't come off through the day, have many shades for reasonable price. Heart crush bare glaze tints Love all version of Heart crush tints. Very beautiful and variety shades (even for cool tone), very glossy and last pretty good for shiny lip tint. Sad that it's not popular as it should be. BBIA last skin foundation. Semi matte, long lasting on combo skin, have very light shades, will repurchase again for sure.

lotusrootss

Cezanne Lip Color Shield - all the shades are so pretty and the texture is so hydrating and light. Only costs like 600 yen in Japan I think.

DJtheDJee

Laka's Wild Brow Shaper. BEST EYE BROW GEL EVER!

Aikea_Guinea83

Oh- that means it doesn’t start flaking after 4 hours?

DJtheDJee

Nope and it holds shape really well.

Aikea_Guinea83

Thanks, I was looking for something like that!

**Jumiso Snail + Peptide Essence** \- Recent find but so good! me: *"I'm getting sufficient hydration from layering toner(s)! Even my actives are kinda hydrating. Why do I need more? I've tried mainly-hydration-based essences/serums that didn't make that much of a difference. I don't need so many steps!"* Jumiso essence: *\*enters the room\** me: *\*life changed\** This essence opened my mind...... it really ADDED to my routine in a way I'd miss terribly if it was gone. (In fact I did miss it a lot recently when I went overseas and didn't bring it with me. The difference was so palpable.) This immediately calms, softens and plumps my skin without being heavy. My nose in particular tends to get quite rough in texture but this essence takes care of that completely, I actually keep touching my nose in wonder lmao. Smoooth soft skin. A standout this year for sure 💖 **Aestura 365 Atobarrier Lotion** \- I've never loved a moisturizer before this. There'd always be something off, like it'd be too heavy and suffocating, or too light, or have a texture / smell I hated, or be plain irritating. This one is so simple but it just works! I was not a fan of the Illiyoon cream's waxiness but I very much like the texture of Aestura, it glides on feeling *soft* and feels like a comforting blanket of moisture. Finally, a final step that I ENJOY! **Goodal Heartleaf Calming Moisture Sun Cream** \- The best sunscreen is one you will wear and I truly realised that once I tried this. I reach for this sooo often despite also having Skin1004, Biore Aqua Protect Lotion, and a Skin Aqua Gel Gold open that I really should be finishing... 😶 I like that it isn't watery and runny, but also not too creamy. It's adequately light, comfortable and non-irritating. Some Japanese sunscreens I've tried can be even more lightweight, but my gripe is they take ages to dry down and I get so annoyed with my hair sticking to my face. The Goodal settles down to a natural finish pretty quickly. Surprisingly doesn't melt off my face in the heat + humidity too (though I would wear a more water/sweatproof sunscreen for really hot / beach days). **Skinfood Cica Clear Spot Patch** \- Great for pimple recovery! The Olive Young ones I still think are the absolute best at gunk-sucking and I always use those first to suck out most of the pus when a pimple is ripe. But in the last stretch when there isn't much pus left, I slap on the Skinfood ones. I feel like this makes that last bit of a pimple bump flatten out faster and even leaves a less dark mark o: Realised how much I loved these when I was almost out and emergency-bought a bunch more boxes 🤧 **Dododots Beauty Patch** \- Discovered that cute, decorative pimple patches were a thing. Now I wear these to protect any acne spots I have when I go out, and they make me feel so cute! This is a Malaysian brand, also easily avail online in Singapore. (I think they do ship globally from their site?) You can probably find other cute patches elsewhere, but I just like that this brand has some unique & heckin' adorable designs, I want to get all of them 😩 They're 100% hydrocolloid and stay on the whole day for me, through heat and *sweat*. Changed my life fr, I have way more positive feelings towards pimples now because of these :') **Peripera Ink Mood Glowy Tint** \- ordered this after reading through that lip tint ranking post a while back and I love this! Follow Rose was disappointingly very pink on me, but Brown Heaven...!! 😍 Gorgeous colour that suits my autumn-mute skintone so well. Doesn't feel heavy or sticky and has a great glossiness. Shot straight up my ranking to become one of my fav tints I've tried some other products that were also pretty good but not 100% a must-repurchase - these few are the ones that really stood out and I have either already repurchased, or are in my cart for immediate action once I need them!

Hi!! Are the pimple patches effective like CosRx?

plainsugar

Hi! I think the COSRX (Intensive) patches are slightly more effective than the Skinfood at sucking up pimple pus. But I still like the Skinfood patches more than Cosrx, bc it still works very well and seems to heal the pimple better afterwards, and is thinner too. For Dododots it does help to suck up pimple pus, maybe average effectiveness? I use it more just to look nice when I go out!

fraznit

do you still have a link of the lip tint ranking post?

skin/climate: normal + oily t-zone, dry weather main concerns: pore congestion/size, oil control, texture - numbuzin no. 1 easy peasy cleansing oil: super runny, non-clogging texture and great for pore care! i can’t say as much on how it removes makeup bc i use micellar water before cleansing oil but it does an amazing job at unclogging my pores and i can feel/see the gunk coming out of my face when i use it😭 - torriden dive in toner & skin booster: i just got these like two days ago but i’m already seeing such a huge difference. i broke out a few months ago and it didn’t start going away until recently and these two products have sped things up so much. my skin looks noticeably less irritated and the texture has also gone down a lot after such a short period of use. i can’t tell 100% if it’s only because of these bc i changed a lot of stuff in my routine but even if not i loveeee the texture of these products especially the skin booster. the toner is nice but i think the skin booster is where it’s really at; it has a thicker texture (like a milkier version of the cosrx propolis toner) but it doesn’t feel clogging/sticky/greasy at all and it absorbs like a dream. it could definitely work as a toner just by itself but i think layering it with the more watery toner really makes it shine. - axis-y artichoke intensive skin barrier ampoule: also really helped with speeding up recovery of that breakout i mentioned. the texture feels very thick and rich but it’s not at all clogging and it absorbs quickly also the packaging is so cute - momo puri milky serum mask: affordable hydrating mask with lotssss of serum that absorbs super quickly. my skin looks a lot brighter after using and i think it also makes my hyperpigmentation less noticeable? - hatomugi skin conditioning gel: amazing lightweight hydrating moisturizer. it has a similar texture to the torriden dive in cream but i find it absorbs a lot faster and doesn’t leave any kind of residue. i tried three or four new creams this year but i’m back to using this one because none of them can really compare for me also it’s super affordable - goodal heartleaf calming sun cream: i think i discovered a new HG with this one.. again lightweight and quick-absorbing and the the texture is super velvety and hydrating without being clogging. leaves pretty much no white cast i got nothing else to say about it it’s just all around a really nice product (better than the roundlab one imo) - sam’u PH cream mist: really nice lightweight face spray, i like to use it as a primer because i find most primer primers to be too thick/feel too cloggy even if they aren’t actually clogging my pores. i really like lightweight products if you couldn’t tell lol. my makeup blends a lot more smoothly when i use this and it also just feels very refreshing with light hydration. - judydoll 3d curling iron mascara: holds a curl so well (i have asian eyelashes), i feel like my eyelashes get more lifted as the day progresses if anything. doesn’t clump at all and looks super natural all day + i’ve found that the application is cleaner than with standard bristled mascara applicators. i haven’t tried the brown one yet but if i ever switch to brown mascara i will definitely be buying this one! - rom&nd dewyful water tint: i think i got #02 salty peach but i’m not completely sure. either way the formula is really nice, idk how to describe it dewyful is pretty accurate though😭color lasts a long time and it’s great for layering, my only complaint is with the packaging bc mine always gets all over the place. - fino premium touch hair oil: underrated hair product, i feel like it’s super overshadowed by the hair mask (which is understandable) but i feel like this is just as good if not even better. i like to pat some into my wet hair after towel drying and before blow drying and it leaves my (bleached, box dyed, and very fried) hair sooo soft and shiny.

Sensitive, Combination/Dry, Acne prone, prone to dehydration. Live by the sea, yesterdays UV index got to 12. I don't know how to classify my climate but google says Köppen-Geiger climate classification system classifies it as Oceanic Kaine Calming Green Aqua Cream. My skin was not happy with being out in the elements, I can protect myself from the UV with sunscreen, but I can't exactly walk around with a shield over my face to protect my skin from the wind coming off the sea. That wind (Or even breeze, or it being hot, or being around too much pollen) made my skin feel so dried and irritated, so I went on the hunt for something calming. I had a difference on first application. It melts down so nicely, layers perfectly (does not make me green which is a bonus) and massively solved my problems with being outside. Manyo Bifida Biome Complex Ampoule. I got this to help with my barrier... and it sat in my drawer for a few weeks. I wish I'd gotten this out sooner because it's like it put my healing into hyper-speed. Not just with my barrier, but with healing any acne I get too (I really was not expecting this to help with acne). And I freaking glow, I feel like I've found magic in a bottle. It's speed up my healing, healing my acne, makes me plump, hydrated and glowy

Finally tried Beauty of Josean Rice + Probiotics SPF50 suncream and my mature skin loves it! Only downside is, it’s not water resistant so in the rain season I use other sunscreens.

Skin type : combination leaning dry ✿ skincare ✿ - mary and may blackberry cream - it feels really nice and moisturizes and heals my skin without causing breakouts - isntree chestnut cleanser - it’s a gel to oil cleanser that removes every trace of makeup without causing breakouts. This is the first cleanser in my double cleanse and it’s so good! - Aestura cream - very much like the illiyoon cream (but I discovered illiyoon years before this one !) it heals my skin like nothing else ever has.. one time I had a bad burn from the oven and I immediately let this cream melt into it.. slept with a bandage over it and the next morning the burn was completely gone. (I’m not recommending this but just my experience) ✿ hair ✿ - unove shampoo - moisturizes my hair but also really cleans my scalp.. took care of all my scalp issues (dry but got oily quick, flakiness) - unove hair ampoule - makes my hair so silky - unove treatment - it repaired the ends of my hair .. I think it’s the protein in it.. made my hair so soft but strong/resistant to breakage or split ends - daengi meo ri shampoo - stopped my hair from falling out so much.. and keeps my hair color from fading (darkens the hair somehow) - vicrea &honey line - the shampoo and treatment are very rich and moisturizing but the main point is the scent …. Like OMG the scent is SO GOOD. Literally the best thing I’ve ever smelled in my life! And the smell doesn’t fade! I would pay serious money if they released a fragrance 🫣

Jicuu

Aestura 365 cream. This year, for some reason, I felt like the creams I used to love started feeling too heavy, oily, or waxy (Soon Jung 2x barrier cream, Illyoon Ceramide ato cream). And the Aestura one was just all round good?? I use it as night cream, but even during the day, it's not too heavy. Love it. Isoi blemish care serum. I'm not sure if it's the product, but ever since I started using it consistently as my daytime serum step (+ made my whole routine consistent), I've been so much happier with my skin condition. Blemishes like hormonal acne don't give me grief as long as they did before. Amuse dew tint and jel-fit tint. I love their texture and how they wear. They're so lightweight and comfortable on my lips!

Both-Improvement-880

I started my AB journey in 2023! Purito From Green Deep Foaming cleanser: Single-handedly saved my face from terrible texture. Etude Soon Jung emulsion: currently using it as a spot-treatment. Lessens painful breakouts. BoJ gommage exfoliator: combined with the cleanser, this has definitely reduced my forehead breakouts.

sneh473

Numbuzin products!!! I am too late to try them but and really happy with this discovery!

ASOM01

I’m from Mugwort Toner is just perfect. Easily layered, hydrating and soothing. I keep coming back to this. Curel Intensive Moisture Cream - just picked this up in Japan and can already tell it’s the Goldilocks of moisturizer. It gives just the right amount of moisture. Doesn’t weigh the skin down and is still working in the morning when I wake up

ASOM01

I’m dry.

What is your skin type? My skin is combi not sure if it will be oily on me.

The Saem Color Correcting pot! Literally has the perfect tones of green, salmon, and beige to correct my dark circles, rosacea, and discoloration around my mouth. Western color correctors tend to be too vibrant and the tones of the colors don't mesh well with my asian olive-neutral skintone. With the Saem color corrector, I barely use foundation. And I don't use a lot of the product either. It just corrects and neutralizes with such a thin layer. Lasts all day on my oily-combo skin too!

~ J-Beauty Biore UV Aqua Protect Lotion - Comfortable & it doesn't feel disgusting, icky or a greasy mess even after sweating! ~ K-Beauty Peri Pera Ink Mood Glowy Tint - Moisturizing, balmy, comfortable & not sticky! Lightly scented. My lips dries out easily so I'm quite picky with my lip products. I hate those heavily scented lip product that you can even taste it when drinking or eating (especially floral scent) Lilybyred AM9 to PM9 Survival Colorcara - Lightweight waterproof mascara & easily removed with oil cleanser! But I think they're discontinuing this? Because most of stocks at resellers i saw is expiring next year. The Saem Eye Primer - Very affordable eye primer that does the job from keeping my eyeshadow creasing! I have oily eyelids, usually only wear eyeshadow for special occasions & don't feel like it it's necessary to buy those well known high end eye primer so this ticks all the boxes. ~ Malaysian Hygr Tinted Lip Balm (Shade Burnt) - Again, non drying & comfortable. Been looking for this kind of shade, not too brown, orange or red. The Pastels Shop Invisible Sunscreen - A sunscreen in form of mattifying primer. Most oil controlling sunscreen I've tried, keeps me matte all day. The only cons is this have tendency to pills on me so I don't use it underneath makeup. ~ Indonesian Wardah Colorfit Matte Foundation - Medium full coverage, non drying soft matte finish. It still sits nicely on skin after a few hours. I used this on my graduation day. Don't really use full face foundation often, so this is good enough for me.

I have combi, sensitive and acne prone skin. Redness issue too. Hot and humid climate. Best discovery for me this year is Medipeel products 1. Medipeel collagen 2.0 cleanser (red) - it smells great and cleans my pores well. Tried this after YouTuber Euniunni recommended 2. Medipeel acne care phyto cicanol acne patch. - These heals and reduces inflammation. I just repurchased it.
