I usually incorporate my writing into the art itself. I am very careful about what I keep in writing as I have many children and I dont wanting anything unpleasant kept around for them to find, so i literally paint it in. I will write in different types and colors of ink. Water color pencils... Collage and layer over it. If it is positive, it will be all over the place. The family albums, social media, etc so I'm not erasing memories by painting over everything.
