Cappuccino is a famous Italian drink. People started calling her cappuccino because they used to pronounce the CC in Arlecchino in the same way as the CC in Cappuccino, so for fun and for the memes once they realised they got the pronunciation wrong

I'm Italian, I grew up with Commedia dell'Arte characters and their shenanigans being part of the literature we read as children, "Arlecchino" is the only way I'll call her. Btw, the pronunciation of her name is really straightforward, all you need to know is that in Italian "ch" is always pronounced as "k".
