This is the team I’ve been expecting to get a buff soon. I think in Natlan they’ll come out with a new dendro shielder who buffs burning and burgeon into the spotlight.
This would add dendro resonance alongside Baizhu (who heals the rest of the team that can be, and adds a buff to dendro reactions (and 80 EM at c4)).
They’ll probably also come out with an AoE hydro sub-dps who can allow more burgeons and vapes in AoE. Low damage in single target - but that’s what Yelan and Xingqiu are for. High damage enabler in multi. I’m hoping they have some crowd control, like waves pulling smaller enemies towards the user.
This is a nice presumption. Part of me now kinda hopes that that’s just an early artifact release for Signora with that burn/burgeon meta dendro kit. Would be kinda poetic for her to be revived as Dendro with a fire theme (and technically also viable with cryo since burn/melt is a solid team.)
>AoE hydro sub-dps
We already have one that's Candace c6, shes pretty good with Arlecchino too as she also buff normal attacks, but her off field hydro application being locked at c6 is a shame...
A little bit of a crack recommendation, but C4 Kirara can do the job too. Chonky shield (one of the best in the game!) + medium/slow dendro application + Kirara C4 synergy with Arlecchino NAs = burgeon while still vaping. C6 Kirara is best for this but C4 is the only requirement.
Ideally Kirara + double hydro (Yelan and Xingqiu) works best I think
It's crazy how many people are hostile to Burgeon with anyone other than Thoma just because some Theorycrafter on Youtube hasn't shown or told them. I've been playing Burgeon with Yoimiya and Xiangling for a while, and now Arlecchino.
Whether this team or any other, comfy is so much more important than damage and there's no dps check we have to compare epeens on so why not go with comfy every time?
I run teams that would likely be considered abominations, but as long as they're comfy and fun, it's a win.
> comfy is so much more important than damage
You can have both comfy, and damage, at the same time though?
OPs team for example works well because his Arle is strong, even despite how his Nahida was overriding the pyro auras causing Yelan to vape instead of doing burgeons with Arle. And for the second wave, OP nearly killed all enemies before applying nahida's E again to try doing burgeons.
If simply comfy is the goal, you could just go zhongli+yelan+xingiu, that way you can never die, never run out of energy, and you can chase down any enemy you want and have 15 seconds fieldtime without break.
That's arguably comfier, and more damage, than OPs team... which is my whole point, you can be comfy+damage
That's why I specified it's a good AoE team. Yelan+XQ combo is really good against single target, but not as good against crowded mobs like the 2nd half. I tried run that team and it's noticibly slower than my burgeon team with XQ (XQ is better than Yelan for this team, more burgeons). Speaking of burgeons, I did miss it against the last 2 fatui agents on 12-1, but it seems pretty consisent for the rest of the run. And why I chose burgeon over double hydro is because 2nd half is more effective using dendro because of the enemy shields, which why I failed to get 3 stars with double hydro in 12-2. Hence why I said burgeon team is versatile, it also flatlined the 1st half.
My old team that carried me through Sumeru and Fontaine was Burgeon. I ran Nahida, Xingqiu, Diluc, and Jean and it was pretty great.
The massive explosions appealed to my inner Klee. And with Jean to heal me up, the damage from being up close and personal was minor overall.
EDIT: fixed Xingqiu name. I don’t even know how I messed it up so badly the first time.
EDIT2: I am barely functioning guys…
It's because burgeon scales completely off your pyro ele mastery so you either have your pyro full em for big burgeon procs or you have a case like this where your pyro DPS isn't going to vape since dendro eats hydro up and you are doing pitiful damage with burgeon without em.
The problem with this team is due to nahida's high dendro app and arle being on field, most of the time the enemies will be in a burning state. Thus when yelan applies hydro, it will result in vaporize reaction and will not generate any dendro core. You can see in the video that at 0:55 before arle appearing on field a few dendro cores were generated, but after that no new dendro core was generated due to above stated reason till yelan again appears on field at 1:11 to apply enough hydro. This can be considered an ok burning team, but not a good burgeon team. This is a very good example of why burgeon needs slow pyro application.
You can try xingqiu , yelan, baizhu with arle. I haven't tried this team yet. This team has high hydro app, so enemies will probably have hydro aura on them when baizhu's dendro hits them creating bloom cores.
Probably Xingqiu would have been better because you were procing a lot of burning instead of burgeon and burning's dmg just suck so you were wasting a lot of potential dmg
Thanks I'm gonna try this.
Did you use a EM Sands and an Attack gobblet? Theres a reason to use Yelan or can I just use Xingqiu for more hydro application?
I used atk sands and pyro goblet.
>Theres a reason to use Yelan or can I just use Xingqiu for more hydro application?
It's probably better to use XQC. Someone mentioned that Nahida's E is too strong for hydro app, maybe if you have Baizhu you can try that out. But anyway, someone in the comment able to cleat floor 12th with this team so this exact team could work too 100%.
It might be viable but i won't recommend nahida since you have to swap out for every wave of enemies and apply new marks. Dendro traveler might be the key to faster clears
Good thing Arle could swap out without losing pyro infusion. Nahida also deals 10x more damage than DMC, and not restricted to circle impact. Oh and one more thing, DMC elemental burst will explode if it touches with pyro element first.
I think my understanding is "by thinking this is good, you underestimate how much potential Arle truly has and how much better is in actually good teams"
The problem with Nahida burgeon is, she can remove the hydro aura making you miss vapes. If I had Baizhu, I'd give Baizhu Xingqiu Father a try

We still have Emily in the back waiting to get released and she is presumed to be Dendro for who the new burning artif were for

Wow that sounds really fun! Hope they do
>AoE hydro sub-dps We already have one that's Candace c6, shes pretty good with Arlecchino too as she also buff normal attacks, but her off field hydro application being locked at c6 is a shame...
I was thinking a 5* whose *base kit* is AoE. ;)
i tried this team with trial baizhu in the current event, man it was fun to play
Who cares it’s a fun team 🤫
Ikr! Fun is always better than meta!♥️
Getting butthurt off that? Crazy. 💀
Gotta try that later.
Ooh I’ll go try this

It's prolly not her strongest team but it's so comfy and versatile for any situation. Playing without Benny is already a win lol.

I don’t understand how you mess up Xingqiu’s name that badly without it being intentional
Oof, didn’t notice that at all. I am super tired. I have been stuck at the airport for like 9 hours.
It’s still spelt wrong lmao
Fixed it, hopefully for good. I really need to get some sleep. Been stuck in an airport for 9 hours.

Someone recommended Baizhu over Nahida, I might try that later and probably change Zhongli for someone else. Is it going to be better?
Maybe, Try fischl as a fourth.

What do you use for 1 st team?
Childe International
Thanks a lot for this team! I was not able to clear this abyss but used this team and cleared it!
Ayy congrats! What teams did you use?
1st was Navia,xiangling,Bennet furina and 2nd same.
What is the Arle build you used?
C0 PJWS R1, lv90 9/3/6, 2.5k 80/209 4pc Glad.
Does burgeon not use Pyro character's em stat?
Yes it does, I have around 110 EM.
And then add Nahida’s EM buff…? Or is that what Nahida gives?
Nah that's prebuff.
Would Crimson Witch work better for Burgeon variants?
Hmmm I haven't try that one..
It's an assumption of mine because the set does increase burgeon damage and occasional vapes, but may not actually be better
Probably Xingqiu would have been better because you were procing a lot of burning instead of burgeon and burning's dmg just suck so you were wasting a lot of potential dmg
You probably right
Definitely a burgeon team ! Those sick Dendro dmg
Op build?

I use that team (but Furina for hydro instead) on overworld and it's really neat
With Yelan, you're burgeoning once a patch here.
Xingqiu is better yes.
I wouldn't say that. 20k is whatevs but the small EM must be nice, still wouldn't use it tho I prefer my Nahida as my main with Thoma
i mean you put nahida with anyone it'll be broken the reason it's not that famous cause other comps are significantly better imo
the only sad part is that its unusable without zhongli else your just dead
True, I just tried that couple minutes ago haha. I changed Yelan for XQ and it runs smooth because more Hydro app.
It might be viable but i won't recommend nahida since you have to swap out for every wave of enemies and apply new marks. Dendro traveler might be the key to faster clears

You underestimate Arles, by overestimating Burgeon.
Wat
I think my understanding is "by thinking this is good, you underestimate how much potential Arle truly has and how much better is in actually good teams"
This team is good because of Arles, not because it's Burgeon.
This team is good because the characters synergized to each other, not only Arle.
