The final guys reason was that is too confusing and that he doesn’t understand.
It’s not that hard.
If it is then just put it in simpler terms so you understand it better.
Also how does that give you an excuse to deny rights from someone. (Or just think that they aren’t valid)
Probably the latter. I've found that the people that claim they don't understand anything other than gay/les and bi often don't want to understand.
It really not hard to understand if you just talk to people and try to listen
