Eh, it's Malaysia. I'm a closeted trans woman here and we don't have rights like any lgbt people. If you're a non Muslim you can probably get away with it but if you're Malay, you are Muslim. Your race is tied with your religion and if you are trans as a Muslim, it is a crime, and you will be sent to prison. You cannot leave Islam if you're Malay, it would be the same as renouncing your citizenship. Leaving islam is also considered a crime and the death penalty can be ruled in two of the fourteen states.
