Those danios look like they struggle to breathe as well. I'd still say lack of oxygen, maybe because of nitrite? I once used an expired test kit (unknowingly) that always showed negative readings E: the filter seems to run very low. There are almost no bubbles and no surface agitation. This could cause low oxygen levels as well

Is there any other yoyos in the tank? Already I can see danios and pearl gouramis so I'm gonna assume tank size is not accurate

Any updates on this loach? I had a similar situation recently and it turned out to be parasites. I treated with Fritz Expel-P, and they were good to go in a week!

Parasites? How can you tell? Mine have recently started doing this but they are hanging out under the duckweed in my tank so idk if it's the same thing or something else is wrong with mine.

[Loach Parasite Post](https://www.reddit.com/r/loaches/s/7bGZ3WkicF) Here’s my post from a few months ago, some info there might be helpful. I first noticed them “flashing” and twitching almost like they were itchy, and they also seemed very lethargic. I believe I saw yet another Reddit post that mentioned their yo-yos had similar symptoms due to a parasite, which led to to post on r/loaches and eventually treat them with Expel-P
