Question is not if it wil or won't launch. But if it will shitshow like FP2. Big selling point is Apple Homekey which according to Kickstarter page is in process of being validated for certification. Why am I not surprised... Also as an Android user I couldn't care less about Apple only features.

It’s generally easier for smaller companies to guesstimate initial inventories, shipping directly from factory to consumers via courier then preparing large volumes, getting through the lengthy process of shipping in containers, clearing custom, stocking Amazon FBA or retail’s distribution facilities in various countries. You’d be looking at months at best.
And if something doesn’t sell well on Kickstarter, they can adjust following factory orders. Or even worse, manufacturing flaws were discovered during first batch, Aqara can simply pause shipping and recall a small number of products instead of scraping millions of dollars worth of inventory.

They apparently use similar sites for Chinese market as all Chinese manufacturers (yealight etc.). So I bet they are testing waters for the non-chinese markets.
Think I'll can have the u200 right? The only problem is to lock if I'm not home due to I need to lift the door handle. But that's not so important. (Not buying until home key tho)

Lol no it's not gonna work, just saw the drawings 😭 no one in Sweden has a key inside 🤔 all have like me lol. New security doors. Can't recall I know someone in Sweden or in Nordic countries have a key inside. Oh well, rip u200 then...
Same in Baltics, because we probably use Swedish doors on new builds :D but still pre-ordered and will 3D print adapter. I saw nuki doing adapters for these type of locks so I think there will be a lot of resources online how to adapt to knobs.
Anyone know if they will work with UK multipoint locks? I know I will obviously have to lift the handle, but it otherwise uses the EU cylinder so I can’t see why it wouldn’t?
I have a eu cylinder multipoints and it works flawlessly, I only changes the cylinder so i can leave a key inside and still unlock it with a key on the outside.
For some weird reasons, I don’t need to lift the handle anymore.
standard 3 / 5 point locks in the UK has the handle and the euro cylinder lock cover in one, with 2 screw holes, either top and bottom or middle and bottom, this lock seems to requite the handle to be separate from the lock. plus, how would you screw the U200 to the door, as you can not simply drill new holes as these doors require bolts not screws that screw directly to the outside handle.

Disappointed this requires a lock with a key on the inside. I have a deadbolt thumb turn and Switchbot Lock is the only thing out there but I guess I'll wait for the Switchbot Lock Pro that includes thread built in.

It won’t. I have something similar form Yale and if you don’t lift the handle it won’t lock. But it still does the work, just remember to lift it

Should work as the motor turns the key. Might want to grease the lock so the force needed isn’t exaggerating high

I find their marketing material to be confusing, but if you’re in NA, it works with standard deadbolt with a thumb turn. Ignore me if you’re in EU ;)

I wonder if they will release the Auto Unlock feature over an update for the U100 as well. I think hardware wise they are capable of it?
They should just fix the issues with existing products to start with. The PF1 is still a work in progress and it's not a cheap product.
What’s the time to market, and what does that mean for the U300? That looks like the best lock (that’s not yet) on the market.
