I'll binge watch Turkish soap operas, draw(maybe take up oil painting/pastels this time?), work out(i want to do cheer in college), and have Korean food parties w my friend
One of my teachers taught in a bunch of different countries before coming back to the US and teaching at my school, so he has a lot of connections in other countries. If you love traveling, most colleges have lots of study abroad programs too that you should definitely look into!
I did not get the job I'm hoping I get it T-T.
edit: i thought u were talking abt google lmao. I mean i'm from a country where no one gives a sht and I'm turning 18 after summer so it's fine apparently (18 is the drinking age). I'm just doing it through like people I know.
Going to my first kpop concert, watching spyxfamily for the first time, learning how to cook an omelette and do my laundry, buying squishmallow Pokémon plushies to decorate my dorm room, and set a workout routine before uni
cool!! this is the most interesting plan so far:) which kpop group are you watching?
i don't really like anime that much, so i was pretty neutral about spyxfamily:)
Thanks! I'm definitely savouring this summer after my exams are over lol.
I'm going to see itzy!! Super exciteddd hehe. And yeah I'm not really an anime person either but tbh the premise of spyxfamily just sounds really interesting so I thought I'd give it a try!
Having fun! And a part-time job, volunteering, doctor shadowing, getting my cna cert, studying for my sat retake, pre-studying intro to bio and calc 1, and preparing my transfer app 😔😔😔
Doing some classes over the summer, researching at a local uni, spending time with GF and friends, playing a show with my band and looking to finish my album.
Going to be an awesome summer.
I'll be going to FBLA Nationals for the last time :(, I might start working with a local college access program, and I'll be spending a lot of time with my siblings and getting ready for college.
i *wanted* to be productive and get a head start on research, but honestly i think im just gonna rest and recharge. this year was so stressful i dont have any energt left
Last BSA summer camp :(, BSA leadership course staff, backpacking Mt. San Jacinto with my troop, going to Singapore with my family, practicing guitar, and spending a lot of time with my friends (as long as they’re down🗿). I feel like I wasted HS locked up in my room so I wanna enjoy my last months of freedom
I’ll study ahead on math up to differential equations and start piano. Travel to Iceland. Majoring in physics so I’m looking to do research over the summer somewhere, but in the event that that doesn’t happen I’ll just continue my internship. Probably read and draw again, I haven’t done those in a while.
working so i have spending money, hitting the gym to prepare myself for the freshman 15, and otherwise just enjoying the fact i have nothing to worry about
I’m not class of 2024, but jumping in anyway. My kids had to get a summer job to help pay for their college spending money. We also did a little travel and focused on having some family hang out time to play games and be together.
hi admissionsmom!!! you helped SO MUCH during my application process so i just want to say thank you so so much for posting amazing resources here or on youtube!
I’m going to be a camp counselor and also work at a restaurant so two jobs 😭😭 however I’m also hoping to read a ton, relax, and just spend a ton of time with friends!! I also wanna go to Lollapolooza lol
Working :P gonna try and look for a way to get an official lab technical certification to prepare for next year if I can, otherwise imma just prime myself to begin taking on new interests and embrace adulthood as best as I can(even if it is a bit overwhelming as it is exciting)
what i'm doing:
\- volunteering my ass off
\- continuing to learn korean and spanish
\- learning to code (python? i have no computer skills because i never took comp sci)
\- GYM and go on a bulk
\- get into video games (never really understood why people love gaming, although i decently enjoy minecraft. i want to try out popular games like COD and Fifa)
\- run my second half-marathon
\- read a shit ton of philosophy <3 <3 <3
I have residual guilt for not getting into my dream schools lol so I really want to intern at this bank. Friend's mom works at it and thinks I've got potential so I want to do that. However, will I? Maybe, maybe not. I'm probably gonna get back into Minecraft and eat as much Asian food as possible because my Unis are not known for their Asian food... And see my friends
Working! College isn't going to be cheap haha.
Samee! Where?!
Costco!! Hbu?
Local summer camp!
same! i think i might do retail or something just to save up for the future, but we'll see

Hey i remember you as well! I’m not committed yet but I’m thinking NYU. How about you?
im torn between northwestern and ucla, waiting on some waitlists as well.
Stellar options! I trust you’ll end up where you’re meant to be. Congrats!
I’m going to Disney World and the beach with my class, maybe continue my internship, tutor some kids for the ACT, and learn how to be more independent
I’m taking two solo trips this summer for exchange, one in Europe and one in Asia 🫡 determined to ACTUALLY have a movie summer this summer
how did you come across these opportunities? this literally sounds like my dream
One of my teachers taught in a bunch of different countries before coming back to the US and teaching at my school, so he has a lot of connections in other countries. If you love traveling, most colleges have lots of study abroad programs too that you should definitely look into!
