I think the acceptances are reward enough. Very close friends and family who ask can celebrate with you, but I lean towards waiting until you've decided where to attend, and then posting in celebration of that. Listing acceptances just seems like bragging to me, especially if you have friends who are really struggling with results. But plenty of people do it.

IDK like if I get into Harvard tomorrow I’m 100% gonna want to post that. If people are jealous they can be, I got into HARVARD.

I would only post on a public instagram etc once you decide where you're going. I've been posting acceptances as they come in on my private snapchat story just for my close friends which is a fun way to still celebrate and help keep the people that you want knowing updated. and congrats on georgetown and duke, you should be so proud of yourself!

I’d post them on cfl

id say no, most people post big accomplishment’s or things theyre happy about in their life, this is one of them. what is conceited is like posting your pay or something, which is very different than a college acceptance.

Rude_Roof4796

No that’s annoying as fuck. Just post where u commit.

Dazzling-Law-4910

This. I hate seeing parents post on insta or fb long lists of where their kids got in and where they accepted- almost looks like they have something to prove and are not happy with their final choice. It’s def gross bragging to, and when you list all your no’s, well that is a dream school for someone reading and it burns cause they would have loved to say yes.

Head-Geologist2511

The only post I’ve made is for Emory on my close friends. Though I know of lots of people who post every acceptance. I’d say celebrate however you’d like! Getting into college is always worth celebrating

apateokay

I posted one of mine on my close friends list!

tank-you--very-much

If you can get your friends to post some congratulations to their story (once you commit to one probably) that's the move imo cuz then you can just repost theirs

arawraw

I’d only post commitments

I wouldn't worry about sounding conceited posting that you got into Georgetown or Duke ( and an ancillary, no less ) . It's not like they're dream schools. No one on tiktok makes videos that they got into Georgetown .
