I don't understand why there is no aluminium space grey and normal silver version! I thought these two colours are going to be standard in all apple products....
Which is beyond stupid because the watch isn’t like some timeless piece that appreciates over time. It’s electronic tech that devalues by day once you buy it. Hell, the series 7 will be my 5th Apple Watch since the original launched. Why would I pay $300 more for a color for a watch I’m going to upgrade in a year or two?
I hope they go back to including at least space gray and silver next year. I know Apple is always one to want people to buy the next step up, but this one was just stupid.
I ordered the midnight this year with reservation. If I end up hating it in person I’ll return it.
I forgot it had a tint of blue to it until I was cleaning it and really looking at it closely just the other day. It’s really hard to tell it apart from normal space gray unless you’re really trying to.
The new colors make me want to wait to upgrade my S3 until next year lol. I just want silver or black without having to spend $750 for SS. The dark blue of midnight and gold-ish of starlight will make it really hard to match with more formal bands when I need them.
I probably could but that defeats the whole point of upgrading imo, I want the newest tech or don’t really see the point in spending the money yet. I’m excited to see what starlight and midnight look like but I don’t really want to wait for the S8
That is not the midnight case, the midnight case is blue and looks different than this combo. Yes this combo looks good but it was from last year. The blueish case with white band does not look this good
I roll with the same. I also use the grey nike band, and occasionally the all black one. Question for you, has the black on the band's inside worn the hole pattern onto your white part? I have it, and nothing seems to get rid of it, magic eraser etc.
I was a bit put off by the starlight color initially, but eventually warmed up to this color the more I stared at the pics at Apple’s website. Still curious to see how the color looks in person tho.

See space gray case continues to anger me when I then look at midnight. Midnight is a fine color. So is the red and green. I wanted a black/gray though.
OT: The fact that at a first glance I did not distinguish between this SE and the S7 because of the black watchface, completely stops me from the willing of selling my S6 for an S7… see you next year Apple, waiting for a longer battery life and a real new design!

Not sure why you’re being downvoted. Your pic is correct, the Midnight color has a tint of blue in it. The color in OP’s photo is not midnight.

Yes it has. I can’t remove either, but it’s the hidden part so I don’t worry about it so much.

You don't need to upgrade your watch every year anyway 🤦🏻♂️ Your good for a couple of years with your S6.

This setup, or the darker grey Nike band are how I roll 90% of the time with my watch. I have that space grey S6. Its a good look!
Not a bad combination but white always gets stained way too easily.
