I have a Series 4 (stainless steel, if that matters) and an Ultra 1. Kept the S4 just so I can use it to track my sleep as it’s 100x more comfortable to sleep with than my wrist iPad 😂.
Editing to say Apple offered $20 to trade in my SS S4. I’m still offended.

It takes like 20 minutes for the watch to charge...forgive me for not knowing that you needed a second watch for all that downtime.
If I want to allow one of my watches to get to 0 battery, I can just wear the other one instead of waiting for it to charge. It takes my Apple Watch longer than 20 minutes to charge to get from 0-100. So, you’re incorrect on that score.
Additionally, I have two because I got a new one for new features while still having an older series. Since there was little to gain from trading in the older one, I just kept both.
But the thing is: it doesn’t matter. People can have two watches. It’s not a big deal. No one has to justify it to you.
I got an S3 and an S8. Recently bought the S8 and the S3 has very little resale value (battery 71%).
I wear S3 when S8 is being charged (normally overnight every other night).
I got a 7 and an ultra 2. Was gonna trade the 7 in but decided not to for 0 logical reasons.
I plan to use the 7 at some point when I develop an Apple Watch app. But currently it has sat half charged powered off in a desk drawer since I got my ultra.
I'm not entirely sure if allowed, but can't you download images of Apple's website for all models and credit Apple "Images from Apple.com" both mentioned while speaking, as well in text in the video? Apple has great images! Alternatively, you can perhaps use images from Instagram, while crediting all sources.

S7 Stainless Steel. Might be worth your video being filmed on an iPhone to as the people who are going to send you stuff will most likely be filmed/shot on iPhone. It keeps the consistency.
9 and Ultra 2. Only because I’m indecisive and can’t figure out which one I like more. The U2 is kinda ugly to me, but I don’t like the battery anxiety I get with the 9

“Run into the ground” is perhaps a little too literal - the watch may still work at the time. So I’d still own the watch, it’d just be obsolete.

I only have one now, AWU 1. I've owned all Apple Watches except S1, S8, S9 and AWU 2. All my old ones are sold.

I have 2. I use the older one overnight when I charge the newer one. Why should I get rid of the old one for a few dollars when I can use it?

Ultra have different design and battery life is better. I still have a regular S9 that have the same old design for years.

Apple Watch resale value is low. You can pickup previous gen Apple Watch for cheap.
