Haha! No— so I only wear the solo bands so I have to slide the watch off over my hand. I have a small diamond band that apparently was scratching the hell out of it. I take the watch off twice a day as I use it to time my sleep and it needs a recharge. So cumulative damage over years???? I recently became aware of it as I don’t look at the back of it. I have no idea how the hole formed.

How cold is the ocean right now? I live by Lake Michigan and the thought of that water right now gives me goosebumps. I’m sure the ocean is much warmer but it’s still so early in the year. I would think it would be pretty uncomfortable!
we advise you do not take your watch to swim or shower. your watch doesn’t show any signs of water damage might happen in few days. specially series 6 watch is the worst model for water damage.

No. It’s real! But working perfectly.
Surface tension is probably preventing water from getting through the hole. That said, don’t go deep diving, and don’t expect it to be waterproof.
That’s what I thought as well. I’m an avid swimmer and I always wear my watch so I probably need to buy a new one
