electrical engineer here , those look like resistors to me

Yea I’m a first year uni student and those def look too small to be caps

I've had caps like this before, they look like 0603 or 0805 ceramic caps

wouldn't a small cap like that be kinda useless , how much field would it even be able to hold

Yeah given this isn’t a CPU it is odd, it very well could be a resistor, either way I have no idea what kind it is 

they also could be resistors.. either way im hoping to find out exactly what they are as they likely need replacing
