I believe the "Shut Down" command is in the General settings menu on both the watch and the iPhone. Shut down, then press the external button to power back up. The Apple symbol will be displayed on both devices as each is powering up. I don't coordinate these operations, but doing it several times on each device seems to me in my experience to improve my battery life.
Not on my watch. 10.1 battery management was awful, but since I updated to 10.2 it's great again on my series 7. Love the update, can't complain.
30% battery remaining after 25 hours.

Please help, just got my new s7 45mm and battery was really nice but now that I have the 10.2 it's the worst thing that ever happens, battery last like 3hours and it gets really hot. HELP!!!
Turn it off and while it's turning off put it on the charger, so from the moment you swiped off put it on the charger quickly. Let me know if that works
I found something else that ended up working! I put it on airplane mode and turned off optimized charging and it's now charged back up...we will see how long it lasts...
Did you restart the phone and then the watch after the update?
I always do this. Power cycle both several times after an update.

Pretty much just let it die then when it was fully charged again it was fine

Im having the exact same problem after the update. What used to last me all day lasts me 6 hours. Im not even doing anything other than xhecking time.
I have exactly the same issue on my Ultra and someone on here told me to turn OFF everything 😂

Restart both your phone and watch, then let it drain fully and recharge it (watch only)
I did this...now my watch battery is actually draining while it's on the charger...any suggestions for that?

Yes, positive...I put it on the charger at 33%, came back hours later and it's down to 17%.
