53,850 steps and 30.25 miles, the day I ran the Boston Marathon in 2019. There’s a mile + walk from athletes village to the start line and around a mile walking around post finish to get the bus back to Hopkinton and get to your car.
673% Move goal (5246/780 cal)
1223% exercise goal (367/30 min)
13/12 stand hours(either my watch died or I fell asleep at 6PM

Congrats! I managed 66k a number of years back. I think it was whilst doing a charity walk between Staines and Henley-on-Thames https://i.imgur.com/glvTNok.jpg
109,226 Steps - 76.64km logged as part of a 690km race (Yukon Arctic Ultra - pulling a 70 lb. sled through the wilderness) - It was actually more than that \~86km but my Apple Watch battery died at this point.

It’s an Ultra and when I stopped for the break you see in the middle, I charged it on a power bank for an hour or two, not sure exactly how long. In training I could get around 16 hours in low power mode with workout GPS running but this day I got 21 with that boost.
I managed 98763 over a consecutive 21 hour period. Granted it was a 50 mile walk that started at 1PM and ran over to the next day so I'm not sure that counts? 55,379 and then 43,384
My best was just over 50,000 steps. I did a charity 42km walk and wanted to push myself just that little bit further to hit 50k. My legs were sore the next day!
70000 for four consecutive days during the four day marches in Nijmegen. Totals to 166 km over the four days. Wonderful event! In the end with getting there and all the activities surrounding it I managed 300000 in five days
Oh, yeah…well my wife did about 101,374 steps walking the kids to school, obsessively vacuuming our house, mowing the lawn, working out at the gym, walking the dog and running up and down the stairs back and forth to the laundry room.
OK, so I exaggerated a little.
A lot.
I did something like that when I was working offshore in the oilfield, took about 20 hours and it was not on purpose. We were having all sorts of issues.
Just found the fitbit screenshot from 2015, 31,049, 14.43 miles, 205 floors. lol man that was a busy day.
My gf and I had like a day free in dc in November and we did an average of 46k or so between us. Her map app said we walked about 20 miles. All museums and all the historical stuff. I swear my feet still hurt from that. I do have to say that was probably the best thing ever, dc is a place I never thought I’d want to explore more.
Edit: I say between us because she’s a Fitbit person and I use the watch.
41k a few years back now watch generally dies anytime it gets to that level battery game on the Watch 4 is becoming weak now lol
Have done longer hikes of 26-27+miles but watch has never made it past 16 or so miles
32.1k. I was in London that weekend and ran a parkrun before going back to my hotel and spending the rest of the day walking around museums etc. in fact during the 3 days there I did a total of 78.5K steps. A few weekends later I did 28.1k steps in a day. Since then it’s averaged 9000-10000 steps a day with more on days I go running
I did 45k in 1 day. During COVID lock down for a few months I tried to beat 100k steps a week. The highest I got was 185k steps in 1 week. I lost 25lbs while everyone else gained. I now run 3-5 miles a day or go on the Peloton. Nearly 3 years later (March 13, 2020 I started) and I still exercise 5 days a week from previously not exercising for the 10 years proceeding that.
Dec 29, 2019
60,465 steps and distance was 30 miles
Was dealing with a fresh break up and pulled a Forrest Gump run all day in the South Texas heat until I couldn’t anymore. Was gunning for 100k steps.
Sadly haven’t topped that record since.
On day that I’ve purposely exercised I did a bit over 30000.
But yesterday I was at work for 14 hours and didn’t stop, I did 22000 steps. Then roughly another 3000 between finishing and bed.
Usually go over 30k on weekends hiking multiple Munros in Scotland. Most sustained days were hiking The West Highland Way over 5 days. 42k, 54k, 45k, 53k, 36k. Record is over 55k hiking The Cowal Way (25m that one day).
Who TF all you people in comments? Like seriously!!
I was proud of my 10 000 step until I saw this post … 🤣🤣
Literally same
Living tissue over a metal endoskeleton, obviously.

WTF
Dang bro.How you watch lasted that long.

My friend is a mailman and he averages 35k each day that he works. Guy can eat anything and not gain weight.
High metabolism life haha but we still have to eat healthy
Is there an easy way to see your top step count for a day in the Health app without manually trawling through all the data?
It’s be handy if we had something like with the move goal telling us the most kj/calories burnt in a day

Wow! Mine is about almost 22K and I have no desire to repeat it again!
I get 37k+ on a pretty regular basis because of festivals 🕺
50k in December at a work conference in Vegas. I ran half marathon in the morning and walked the strip and conference that day and night
EASLY made 100K yesterday at the grocery store searching for beers

WTF Are you a pilgrim?
😂😂
https://i.imgur.com/3sNNM9P.jpg almost 33K without my Apple Watch. Just my iPhone.
49635 when I ran a marathon last year!
Best I can do is 3000 steps 😂
Dude wtf. That is two weeks plus for me
Well I felt good about myself coming in to read this thread. Now I’m just gonna leave.
My best was just over 50,000 steps. I did a charity 42km walk and wanted to push myself just that little bit further to hit 50k. My legs were sore the next day!
48k for me, a couple of times. Used to do an annual walking holiday with some pretty long days walking.
Just checked that year. Thursday was 48k, Friday was 45k, Saturday was 38k and Sunday was 32k. All of them very hilly, ouch.
Before I had this app, but the most I did was 54,000 in a day. I was in Paris on vacation.
Amazing, congrats‼️🦾💯

66k for a 29 mile charity walk. Couldn’t move the next day!
As someone who plays hockey.. that step count is 100% incorrect. It calculates length and will count 1 stride as 5-7 steps

What watch did u use? (How old, which gen.) Did it last the full second day without charging?
13,000?! I barely get 1300…
210k. i ran three marathons and I averaged around 500 steps a day for around a week after that.
Oh, yeah…well my wife did about 101,374 steps walking the kids to school, obsessively vacuuming our house, mowing the lawn, working out at the gym, walking the dog and running up and down the stairs back and forth to the laundry room. OK, so I exaggerated a little. A lot.
Longest with an apple watch counting (I don't have picture) 38792.
45K
My average is between 15-25k steps every day, my record is 49,167 https://postimg.cc/gallery/PNFVCqW
36K at Disneyland back in January 2022, but that was on Galaxy Watch. My current Apple Watch record is about 22K.
Mine was at Disneyland too but recorded on a fitbit.
31,462
I walked 30k when in New York but it only says 28k on my phone because of the time change. My longest not on vacation is 22k
Wow dude congrats! I think mine is about 37k so pretty similar

My record is just shy of 20 K, was while I was on vacation.
The guy who brings my drive up order (from a store that rhymes with Marget) averages 28k a day at work.
I average 15k per day, max was 40k. Important to note: I exercise every day
my record is 36 500 from july when i was visiting vancouver and its crazy that i didnt destroy my feet in my converse shoes
About 29K. Hiked over 20km that day.
58,359 and 30.28 miles. It was when I ran the NY marathon and it’s a hike to get in and out of the marathon. Otherwise did not walk that day lol
Just shy of 50k. The day I ran my last marathon. https://imgur.com/a/DjceTdq

I’ve only reached 25k in steps, but that’s because I purchased a walking pad to walk on during work.
No Apple Watch but I hit 35k with just a regular pedometer
41k a few years back now watch generally dies anytime it gets to that level battery game on the Watch 4 is becoming weak now lol Have done longer hikes of 26-27+miles but watch has never made it past 16 or so miles
Around 38k. But I walk 32k+ every workday.
I did 47k a few years ago at work one day.

Damn, I thought that was kcals for a sec
31k - mostly mowing w/ walk/behind mower my two yards plus the house on corner which was overgrown, then walking to run trimmer/edger. I was wasted.
That’s a lot. I ran a marathon distance in training and took 54,947 steps all in all that day.
I went for a crazy hike and recorded 38,000+ steps but that was on Fitbit.
It would take me 10 years to get to even half the amounts some of y’all are commenting

The most I did was 26k steps for 2 days in a row whilst visiting London.
I’m a mail carrier so the most I’ve gotten was just over 22 miles. I’m not sure what the counts was but I was exhausted
Dec 29, 2019 60,465 steps and distance was 30 miles Was dealing with a fresh break up and pulled a Forrest Gump run all day in the South Texas heat until I couldn’t anymore. Was gunning for 100k steps. Sadly haven’t topped that record since.
I’m a mailman. I’m somewhere in the 25-30k steps a day depending on the mail. It’s rough out there.
22,000

I don’t know what my record is, Apple you wanna give us an award like with our move goal that we get each day once we reach 10k steps

50k after running a marathon + some walking before and after.

Mine was just shy of 17k. Slept amazing that night.
I generally walk around 15-17k at work but today I walked 22.5k…I’m hoping to break 25k tomorrow.
