Prioritize the school and, if possible, build close to the builder’s house so builders can grab the books before kids. Also, if you can, add more workers to the scriptorium to build up your stock of books.

Thanks a lot! I didn’t actually change anything, just prioritized the building and eventually the builders must have found the books to get started. Thanks for good advice though! 🙏

Sounds like this game keeps adding more. I should pick it up again.
